You can increase the wake time by :-
Step 1 - Go to more.
Step 2 - Then scroll down and go to settings.
Step 3 - Open auto screen off.
There you will have :-
1 -Default
2 -6s
3 - 7s
4 - 8s
5 -9s
6 - 10s
And if you to off it just put your palm on the band and it will turn off.

Thanks for commenting about where to wear it on the wrist. If it was between the wrist bone and palm, I think it would be too big for my wrist. I was hoping to wear it below the wrist bone, toward the elbow! I have small wrists, but I think this will fit!

You can make the band stay on for up to 10 seconds. You can change that on the band itself.
On your band, go to more, settings, screen timeout and then choose how long you want it to stay on for.

Mi Band 5 is already out but I chose this instead since the mi band 5 isnt a big jump from it's predecessor which is this Mi Band 4 which works well enough...

Hi, I enjoyed your helpful video. is it possible to message friends using the same model and urge each other to hit daily goals? Finally, my wife cannot receive notifications from her fitbit to her Oppo phone... Can this sync to all phones?
My big question is, if i use it in my run w/o bringing my heavy phone, could i still get check and count distance &steps in the mobile app only after ??
it still measures your steps and distance and once you it is connected with the phone and you open the Mi Fit App it will sync the data
I believe from other videos, the only difference is the global version has a thicker instruction manual (booklet) in multiple languages and the Chinese version is a thin paper leaflet. Otherwise, the Mi4s are the same and the language will link up with your phone's language.
I have two questions: my mi band 4 does not vibrate when I get messages and other stuff, do you know how to fix that? And second question: on my band, when I get messages, it doesn't show the message; it only says: new message, view it on phone. Do you know how to fix that too? If you do, can you please reply to my comment? Thanks!

Only the NFC version has the voive assistant but it only works in China.
WARNING if you're in the US - be careful buying this band on Amazon! I bought one that was advertised as Mi 4 but was actually a knock-off without many of the features and low quality. To return it to China I had to pay over half the price for shipping as the unit cost! Really disappointed in AMAZON. I ordered another from WalMart and plan to shop there now whenever possible.

This feature does not come with the Mi Band 4, but possible with a third party app which is only available in Google Play Store. Hopefully the app developers will extend to iOS as well.
Is the battery capacity change in Chinese and global
Under More, scroll to Setting, then tap Time Out... You can set the screen left on from Default, 6s... up to 10 seconds.

I use the global version
Yesterday I bought the Mi Band 4 in Germany for 25 Euros. I compare the heart rate with a classic Heart rate Monitor with a classic chest belt. Almost accurate- amazing. Pairing with my Smartphone gives fairly good GPS Monitoring with Logging. Even the Sleep Monitor was good. This little thing can fast become Addictive, I would like to export all those amazing Data onto my PC to review it better than on the phone. I recommend this little Wonder Machine to anybody! A Life Trans Former! Electronics Opiates. Will become illegal!
Very helpful, but can not change the language to Danish. I tried to change it to English which was successful, and then further on to danish. But here it went back to Chinese. Do you have any sugggestions .
I tried Danish, unfortunately it is not a supported language. My Mi Band 4 language was still in English didn't change to Chinese. I have the Mi Band 4 Chinese version. How about yours?
Bought it from Amazon UK, but it came from china, and unfortunately with the Chinese language configuration. As well as you, i tried different languages, so right now it is in German . But if i just could disconnect the mi fit app from the phones language settings, it would help. I dont mind if the app and band was in english or German for that matter.
My steps increased while I was traveling in mi band 2. Will the same happen in mi band 4 ?
The sensors are better than the Mi Band 2 but I can stil see a little bit increase while on a moving vehicle.
So, you say if it's in the right location of your risk it will not detect your steps even when you're on a moving car?
You can check out 1:13 of the video "It is not perfect so you may still get step count even when you are in a moving vehicle" wearing it at the right location will minimize it through.
So fit e has more accurate step count then? Hmmm
@@rhodabagor8087 I can't say for all smart bands and fitness bands. Most fitness band detects step count based on movements. In my opinion any band or smart watch will have similar results. Even with apple watch (based on experience)
It support Moto g6 ? Also I want to know that blood pressure can be measure with this band ?
Hi yes it support Motorola g6. No blood pressure sensor for this one.

Can you confirm that the accuracy of steps and sleep are the same like Fitbit? I am not talking about exactly the same, but close
I don’t a fitbit to test but my dad was using Fitbit for a year then it died. I gave him the Mi Band 3 and he loved it more than the Fitbit. He only monitors his daily steps and he’s quite happy with it.
Don't trust the sleep tracking too much. Sleep tracking is a bit of a joke on my amazfit bip.
I think this one is a bit longer than the fitbit. But there is no restless or REM like fitbit does. But it does say when you went to bed and when you wake up so its close to the fitbit that way. I love this one because it always tracks your steps if you walk or run. Unlike fitbit most times that option doesn't work. The battery is awesome. I get 13 days.
For me Fitbit overestimated my steps so much and whenever I moved my wrists for typing and stuff it gives me steps

Make sure your phone is connected through Bluetooth
Question on the music control - will it work on any app? I really need a band that will work with Pocket Casts and has the ability to skip back 10 seconds, not skip to the beginning.
I don't have the Pocket Cast App, but I used Podcast it can control the volume, pause and play but it does not have a skip 10 sec option.

Hey great news AllAboutMi, I got the band - and in my podcast app, the music FF/RW buttons do just what I want! The RW skips 10 seconds back and the FF skips 30 seconds forward!! I'm very happy with this product.

Hi. Does the Mi band 4 vibrate if you achieve your target goal? eg. If your target is 10,000 steps per day and you achieve it, should it vibrate?
Yes. you need to turn on the 'Goal Notifications' in the Mi Fit App. It will give you a notification and it will vibrate.

How good is the swim tracker on the Mi Band 4? Can I depend on it to at least count no of swimming pool laps covered if not accurate lap times? I'm asking because Mi Band 3 did not have swim tracking so this feature has been newly added. Would the Honor Band 4 or 5 be better for swim tracking with it's 6-axis gyrometer as compared to 3-axis on Mi Band 4?
Can you tell me what is the use of the sleep monitor?
It monitors you sleep time, wake up time and the total number of sleep. It also monitors deep and light sleep.
Why can only 1 notification be displayed at a time? As each new notification comes in the previous one disappears.
On the main screen only 1 notification. If you go to the notifications area you will find the rest of the notification

it monitors your movements while wearing the band.

All About Mi i got mine today, tried to nap at 2pm to 2:45pm, did not track. What should I do to get it tracking day sleep? I work in the evening :(

Can you explain the sleep score? Sometimes I get a low score even I had more than 8 hours of sleep.
I don't know how exactly this is calculated but it's the quality of sleep. The score is based on the total sleep duration, what time you slept, deep sleep, light sleep and wake time. I usually get a higher score if I get a longer deep sleep and sleep on time.
@@gadgetsLZ Sometimes I have 2 hours of deep sleep and I still get a low score, which I find strange.

Or if you get up in the middle of the night it says 0 minutes awake which is not correct

Yes
Yes, you can turn this option on or off via the Mi Fit app or even specify the time. I set mine from 9am to 10 am so that it won't disturb me while I'm on the bed.
I didn't understand the screen protector part. Does it really need screen protector?
I would recommend having a screen protector for your band.
It is coated with a 2.5D tempered glass for added protection against regular wear and tear. I would still recommend putting a screen protector since it is on your wrist and it is more prone to knock. Besides tempered glass is very affordable.
these are the very very very simple simple tricks which everyone knows. I can do more hard tricks like I can in screen mirror the mobile on my band. I can put my pictures on my band

All the notifications are working, but sms incoming notification are not coming, i am using iphone 6s plus, ios 13, please give me a solution? Thank a lot..!!! I've read iOS 13 still got some issues and was recommended not to update. I will test once iOS 13 is stable. Hopefully this will get fixed after they release a fix on the iOS 13 update.

What music app are you using? Check if all the necessary permissions are allowed from the phone.

It’s working now! Found a video says that you have to do Factory Reset and Connect it again.

You can answer calls from the band. Only decline.
how was quality of straps ?
It is the same as the Mi Band 3. It gets loose over time but better than the Mi Band 2. You can get extra straps too they have a lot online.

Sorry I tested Arabic it does not support it. Hopefully there will be an update soon.

It is still unclear. They are still testing the Mi Band 4 in India and probably launched in September or October.

Yes brother. Aliexpress has been there for a while but to make sure, before buying check the reviews as well. Shipping will take time but they provide good tracking and it is usually cheaper compared to others. I bought all my products there ship it here in the UK.

All About Mi I have problems with the mi fit app. Sometimes it doesn’t synchronize. When I try to change the watchface or any configuration in the band, the app just freaze :/

@@gadgetsLZ Yes, I tried and it worked the first time that I used the app. But it's strange because after a while the same problems happens again. I'm actually in the iOS 12 and I have an iPhone XR. I'm thinking about creating an Mi Account, right now I signing in with my Facebook account.
since it's possible to read messages on it, i tried cheating on a test once (we had to learn a bunch of russian words) and i will say that it was not easy reading it cause some words were so long that they split into the next line and the screen kept turning off, but other than that it can be used to cheat
My teacher called on my during the test, but i guess she expected me to have a note under my sleeve or something like that but instead i had Mi band 4, i had the Mi band 2 before that (which is pretty much useless in terms of cheating on a test lol), so i think that's why she didn't think much of it
the way i could cheat was i sent messages of the words to myself and then i got them on my band and could scroll through and read them

The steps tracker will reset back to zero after 12 midnight. No manual reset option
