Thanks for this but I must be the only one with a leaking front transmission seal, the one on the pulley shaft, because I can't find anything on how to replace it or what seal to use....
@@PNWSmallEngineandLawn I only know it as 7 horsepower Horse..it has the all cast iron 7hp Kohler engine..it's one of the earlier Horse models but I'm thinking there was very little change of this shaft and seal over the years..???
They change somewhat but I did find a new oil seal I believe should work. Troy-Bilt 9617 or 921-04030. It should be a seal that measures .750" ID X 1.783" OD. hopefully that works
@@PNWSmallEngineandLawn Thanks..I found it on eBay for around $8.50..now the fun part..motor has to come off and front pulley..if it wasn't the Kohler 7hp I probably wouldn't bother but to me it's the best one ever made, and I got the tiller for very reasonably..motor runs great and gears are tight but it needs seals and tines..thanks again..
