"Nirvana had nothing to do with music" - That, my friend, is completely untrue. I'm a music teacher and we (the kids and myself) recently did a Nirvana medley that was well received by the audience. We also mix in Beatles classics and some even some TV theme tunes to keep the kids interested. Musically some of Kurt's songs are exceptionally good, I assure you. Oh, and that bit about me teaching the kids etc was completely made up. I'm not a music teacher at all.. so.. I win.

Well, it is clear they were sort of messing around, but you can hear during stretches like from :30-:52 seconds, that the seeds were there for it to be really excellent, if they ever wanted to do a serious cover. It would have been great to hear with the band on top of its game with their own unique sound, the heavy, slushy distorted guitar, Kurt growling through it. it could've been epic. :( sadly, we only have bits and pieces to hold on to, so i say, enjoy them all :)

Grohl went back to the true roots of rock...........I went to a Foo Fighters Concert last year and people were rocking and happy.............Nirvana held Grohl back but so glad to see he made it out!
Come on now. Dave got his big break because of Nirvana and got tons of praise and recognition with them for his skills. Kurt was one of Dave’s biggest supporters as a writer.

Knowing he loved music and his daughter seemed like it would be enough for him to want to live.
