F off loser. Stand on your own two feet.
Just came for nirvana hope all is well tho

people who filmed early Nirvana shows and kept them to later share on UA-cam are the greatest people of all time!
no they are not....they are likely transphobic, homophobic, racist, mysoginistic,
fascist savages ....all are...unless you can prove me wrong
I am woke to the core
Absolutely!! Later live shows too, but after they blew up I guess it became harder to get good full concert footage
I’ve often wondered how there’s so much Nirvana stuff. I know they blew up, but there’s other famous bands from the same era who don’t have near as much stuff recorded.
@@JohnDoukasPhotography Maybe because it was the best Band ever?
mostly it’s bootlegs that would get traded and have stayed around over time. footage like this is still being traded amongst collectors
To the guys who filmed this, wherever you are, thank you
how this got filmed but their historic show 2 years later when they were just blowing up did NOT is beyond me
This was filmed by Aadam Jacobs.
Andy Hayes i think a lot of their concerts did but have never made their way online
Andy Hayes Probably because a solid amount of video and audio tapes were confiscated as the band became more strict.
truly man
17:08 I love how the camera just zooms in then out whenever he screamed lol
haahahahah
Lmao
That’s just someone recording, not professionally.
he was feeling it lol
God his energy in 89 is phenomenal
1989 was Kurt's best year!
If you like this, watch live at paramount
He didn't know courtney yet
@VR4TeZ It's a common misconception that there was only one day in the year 1989. There were actually 365 days in that year.
@@jestaman3356 Just like any other year
The young people watching this in 2023 have to understand that, in America, most bands in 1989 were hair metal. This was extremely original for the time. No guitar gods, no make up, no drum solos, no girls in cages.
Thank you for this, gives good insight as a Gen Z kid, but the metal shows I attend now are just like this. 50ish people in the crowd all rocking out.

10:37 is the best moment in nirvana history
He was such intense controlled chaos
I bet Kurt was good on a skateboard
You probably haven’t seen Kurt mangled by his mic stand and random wires at the end of "Endless, Nameless"
I have, but that clip is much more well known.
@RR railroad
Maybe it’s the lighting, or Dave’s improvised drumming that just makes it so goddam perfect.
His voice sounds fantastic and his guitar playing seems much more powerful and deliberate.
As I get older I appreciate the Bleach and Insecticide stuff so much more. So raw.
Bleach is phenomenal. It would have been interesting to see how Nirvana went on had Nevermind sounded similar to Bleach in terms of its sound and production.
Nice pfp
What an opener! Wow. That's one of the best versions of "School" ever. This whole concert sounds and looks great. 10/10 in terms of live Nirvana gigs. Thanks!
Any idea who they opened for?
@@bigdaddycmoney I meant the opening song. They headlined this night.
@@bigdaddycmoney was wondering the same thing.
School’s a face-melter here
They opened for Eleventh Day Dream. There was about fifty to hundred people.
I love that kind of desperation in this era, I love Nirvana 1989.
kurt's dances while performing love buzz live gets me everytime, what a fuckin legend
this man plays with his heart
and his awesome SG Weird looking Guitar
@@GothicXlightning It's an Univox Hi-Flyer
his voice is louder than the whole gig…. AMAZING
Holy shit. Can't believe I just found this.
You didnt lol
Really enjoy this version of Polly. The shows from '89 have blown me away. We're fortunate all the old videos have been shared so generously and sound so good!
The note Kurt hits in big cheese at the 22:42-22:45 is amazing. The ending is bone chilling as well. He was a true legend. At his prime here for sure. Polly!!! WOW!!!
Yep. Such a great song
In the chorus of "scoff" I always heard him singing, " Kill, Neil Young" haha
Such a sick fucking riff though. The entire song is just so awesome. Actually the entire Bleach album is full of really sick riffs and very well put together songs. Even in his early song writing days, he just put riffs together that work perfectly together and then his vocal harmonies over them were just amazing. People say his riffs are so easy to play and sure they aren't these crazy scales played at a million miles an hour but playing and singing the shit he did isn't easy to do at all. And showboating or songwriting? For me there are FAR more show boating guitarists out there then really good song writers. Especially now days. It seems like most guitarists can play really fast and play all the scales their idols can. But not many of them can put 1 really good song together, let alone albums worth of really good song writing. I guess for me, I'd take Lennon over Van Halen.
I agree and that's why players like Jerry Cantrell are so impressive. Amazing player, riffs that fit and deep lyrical content. Not many can do it all.
Kurt more than made up for his lack of guitar prowess in his song writing and singing. Amazing voice as you can hear in the video here.
@Douglas Perfectly spoken. Both Kurt and Cantrell are some of my favorite songwriters, and Cantrell specifically I’ve always felt was heavily underrated within the discussion of songwriting.
Exactement !
Seeing early Nirvana perform next to the iconic backdrop of the Metro is a treat I'll only get to experience on UA-cam. Many thanks for uploading from this Chicago boy.
Wow, is this the best Nirvana show or what
10:37 OMG THAT'S SO SACRED
Zézinho Games what an energy hahaha
Need that on a T Shirt !!!
Kurt's got some classic moves in this show.....and his screams, are as awesome as ever!!
Haven’t been back to this video for a few years, just as good as I remember
This is the best early Nirvana footage I’ve ever seen.
Power of energy Nirvana in action!
One of my favorite Nirvana shows. Kurt was so energetic and passionate, back then
I'm fuckin loving it the way the guys in front are loving it, especially that guy all the way on the left is going crazy!
This is a Master Piece!!
This is an early Bleach show when nobody even knew who they were.
I don’t think there were more than 100 people in the club. What is strange is hearing them play a few songs that would be hugely popular later and hearing a handful of claps afterwards. Very strange!
But they did win over the crowd!
And thanks to whoever recorded this so we can all see it now! It was recorded for posterity like a historical record.
Thanks for posting it!
👏🏻🎸😎
Most people came to see Eleventh Day Dream.
Thus is the best live show ive ever seen kurt in. This may be one of the only shows in which he was completely locked in. This was Kurt playing with every bit of his real emotuon and character thru these songs. He plays them almost perfectly and sings impecably. Its amaxmzing. Thank u for this so much
That was one of the best versions of Love Buzz I have ever heard. Such incredible energy from the whole band in this concert.
greetings from indonesian Grunge.....To the guys who filmed this, wherever you are, thank you
wow kurts solo on love buzz here ive only ever heard tales about, what a find here on youtube!! gonna watch that solo over and over again holy geez
The f'ing Caberet Metro has the loudest monitor stage sound I've ever heard in my life !!! They had to be in all their glory during this show !!!
I was 15. Not into music. Had strict parents. I regret not seeing them. This is amazing. ❤️
Gracias desde Perú por subir este videoclip del concierto
My god. The shift in his energy from 89 until after nevermind came out is like night and day. You can tell how much he loves this shit. His passion is truly undeniable during this performance along with most shows in 89-91. Everything about kurt transformed into the worst due to fame, however his music needed to reach the mainstream. His art needed to reach the masses. The message needed to be heard around the world. Had he only been better prepared for the price of fame, but at the same time would nirvana still be as notorious around the world had kurt not killed himself ?
Who knows if kurt killed himself, I'm. Ot convinced. But if he did, it's kind of like Courtney at his memorial after he died. If you didn't want to be a Rockstar THEN DONT BE ONE. Take your money move to Iceland or viet nam and dissappear. I mean it's it's funny to me, the guy wanted to make it as a musician but not be popular? I guess he wanted more of a mud honey tier experience? But this is a great example of your life is in your own hands. I love your tunes kurt, I'm from the same area as you, but you could have just said sorry guys I don't take your record deal ill only release my music on small labels and I'll only play small shows and I'm gonna live in Iceland..
The pure energy went when the heroin took over circa late 1990 unfortunately :(
Nah. It was drugs that really destroyed his soul.
I was 13, growing up in Brazil, when he killed himself and he was huge around here.
@@Notur7 A combination probably.
Finally an early nirvana live video with good sound!!!! Thanxxxxx
It's fun and good to fit drum track from this version of Polly to original recording of Litihium. Thanks for this shooting.
Wow, cant beleive how good there set sounded,
There is NO one like you kurt that passion and energy you have its out of this world you give all your heart and soul in The music thats why i love you ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🧍♂️🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸

Holy shit this sounds amazing. God I miss them.
3:29 one of the best School screams in my opinion
Oh, my what a performance 🔥 No years, no centuries, no ages could ever cease the feeling I get before Kurt's lyrics & vocal + bestial unsurpassed rhythm section ever!!! What a majestic recording of those solemn revolutionary days. Early Nirvana turned over the world 🌏 & music history forever 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
Oh, my NO REASON!!!! ❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️
This is treasure, thx for preserving this for hundred or thousand years generation ahead..
nice one one of the best
Dive is so good can listen to it all day long 🎸🎸🎸🚶💯💯❤️❤️
Scoff is such a great song! great video and thanks for uploading!!!!
This is fucking GOLD QUALITY RECORDING!!!
This is so funny to me. Their so young here trying to be as showy as possible to get attention. The way Kurt wears the hat in the beginning and then head butts it off immediately. I can just imagine him going over the plan in his head as if it seemed at all cool to do it in the first place. Classic
Lol this guy
Haha true.
There is something so viscerally primal in this
Thx to the guys who filmed this...
if i get one more ad while watching a nirvana concert, im going to throw my monitor out the window.
Metro is one of the greatest places to see a band
22:03 - Chad breaks a stick.
And people say Chad doesn't play hard. Looks like he broke it on a cymbal. too. Pretty powerful hit if you ask me.
Love those stage moves from Kurt and Krist!
You have made.my day thank you so much !

Legendary masterpiece is what this is.
Nirvana live on Bleach Tour in 1989, wow the sound and picture quality is awesome!!!!
25:39 Me when i have to wake up early.
This video is a national fucking treasure
School is such a great song. Underrated.
This show could have been recorded and released as an album so clean and expressive everything is performed
Yep. Damn they play good
28:11 I thought he was about to play Pennyroyal tea but then I remembered it wasn't written yet
Don't be so sure!
Great set list!
I love scoff! It is Very good to hear It playing live👏♥️
Spank Thru :) Damn hammer show. Pure Nirvana. Forever anchored with my heart. Cheers
God Damn....Rest in peace Kurt. Born 81, Bleach was huge for me. Bless you brother.

Kurt displays God like abilities, and this is when Chad was drumming for them. He is a fast drummer, and he deserves props. Dave just came in and beat the shit out of those drums!! All time favorite band. RIP Kurt Cobain.
Those guys are insane🤘
This is perfect.
The best performance I've ever seen..
