      @@jellybeanvinkler4878 sorry to hear that. I can relate. A few days ago, I chose to add a quarter of an organic Fuji apple to my Greek yogurt. The next morning I woke up with crud/ eye boogers & a headache. Then later at work it became obvious that my level of positive energy, focus, and concentration was waaay off. I was very forgetful and even forgot my phone at the office when I went to run work related errands. Not good! I also had major tension in my jaw and felt a high level of irritation while driving. I was stunned! How can such a small amount of SUGAR have this much impact? But that is how my body (mostly strict carnivore)responded. I don't notice the same negative effects with organic blueberries. But perhaps I need to keep an eye on that too.

Blood pressure is at the lower end of normal range and resting heart rate 53 bpm. I am never sick and feel mentally sharp so wondering why I would need to eat fibre?

    I wish more doctors were tuned into the effect that nutrition and overall health played in mental health.
    I was treated for asthma and PTSD/depression for several years before I finally got a doctor to listen to my history and order x-rays of my cervical spine. What they found was that the motorcycle accident I had when I was sixteen had done serious damage to the cervical spine and I had a calcium deposit extending from C/5 to C/7 compressing my spinal cord. I was 44 years old when I finally got treatment. Within five years, I was off of all psychiatric medications and asthma medications. After a few years on Keto, I had a DNA test that showed a genetic mutation that interferes with B6 and B12 absorption. I was amazed to discover that these absorption issues can lead to anxiety, depression, and paranoia. They also predispose one to asthma and diabetes, issues that have plagued both sides of my family tree for generations.
    I am working on letting go of my anger that my doctors were so quick to give pills for symptoms rather than find root causes. Your work helps me find that willingness to forgive.

      No responsible professional would lay out a meal plan for “everyone” on the internet. Everyone is different. Each person might have different nutritional needs. If you are taking medications your diet might be different than someone who is not taking medications. Here’s a thought. Go to the library and do some research. Check out books and read about this whole area of study. Don’t be lazy. Take responsibility for your own diet and health. That way you won’t have to complain about having to buy a book to learn something.

    The amount of fiber seems to be the problem. Balance. Having a nice plate with a few ounces of protein and a cup or cup and a half of low sugar vegetables has been instrumental in getting my blood sugar down and lose weight. Keto is helpful as it is not the standard American diet. Just balance it. Small amount of oatmeal it good. We need to focus on variety of lower glycemic, nutrient dense real food, in smaller amounts every 2 to 3 hours. Quaker oats is processed. This was largely anecdotal evidence in a particular individuals as far as most commentary.

    Just because a food can't be absorbed doesn't mean that it's necessarily bad or irritating to the intestine. In fact undigestible substances are often inconsequential and generally pass trough the intestine without issue... Actually helps to 'scrape' the walls and keep things cleaner and helps to stop bacterial overgrowth. You want small amounts of fibre to help with motility and 'housekeeping'.

    • @baccaratfitness2360
      @baccaratfitness2360 Рік тому +16

      Actually the house cleaning you talk about isn’t necessary when you eat the proper diet. And fiber can be destructive to those with gut issues, Crohn’s disease, IBS and intestinal junction issues. Most of what we think is healthy is based on a grain heavy, sugar heavy diet and most of it goes out the window when you’re on a nutritionally formulated ketogenic diet or carnivore diet.

    • @LowCarbLowDrama
      @LowCarbLowDrama Рік тому

      The public repeats Big Food and Big Pharma’s dis-interpretation and says, “Fiber causes mortality and housekeeping”, but a non-twisted way of saying that is “fibre irritates the gut walls and therefore the body wants to push it out as quickly as possible”. Scraping of the internal wall is irritating and inflammatory. Therefore, there is no point in eating anything that's zero-nutrient and not essential substances like fibre for human health.

    • @maricamaas2326

      The walls are in need of being greased; as to prevent constipation. The body is much similar to a machine; that's cleaned by using oil.
