@@PeaceIsYeshua He is not trying to fast, we just remove most of the carbs and sugar and the body just not hungry like before. Now, add more fat to his diet and he can hold for hours. zero effort from him. And the amazing thing is when he is hungry, he says it, he is eating like a normal person.
We as mothers need to remember that we have the permission and power to think ahead for our kids and feed them what is going to set them up for success and a long and happy life! One little talk about eating brain food and avoiding garbage food, can go a long way. Then slowly help them make choices, throwing out the bad, only buying the good. Find a lyme literate doctor. Send your blood to Igenex Labs in California where they have the most sensitive lyme/tick blood test. Arthritis is a symptom. if positive you can get treated with antibiotics. Do not leave it. You do not want this for the rest of your life.
What is the effect of GKI of less than 2 in different diseases like atherosclerosis, ckd, retinopathy, foot ulcers, dementia, etc. Prof Seyfried uses GKI of 2 for cancer
Fascinating. It would be interesting to see the lipid profile effect in those who cut carbs to 20G or less. Wouldn't want to resolve one problem and create another, CVD.
When raising ldl within the context of metabolic health (from a ketogenic diet), it is not oxidised or glycated ldl. Therefore , it is not small/ dense ldl particles , which are conducive to cvd . Also, ketogenic dieters eat more Fat , which results in more hdl that helps prevent small/dense ldl particles lodging in artery walls.Higher 'good quality' ldl amounts are also conducive to longevity (living longer). It is worth noting ,however, the importance of eating EITHER a high Fat keto diet OR a high carb diet , and not high Fat with high carb .Also 1 in 500 people are "Lean Mass Hyper Responders" who cannot do a keto diet ,and this emphasises the benefit of starting keto with the assistance of a Health Practitioner . Otherwise , keto/ Carnivore eating methods (practiced correctly) conduce a metabolic State which creates physical and mental health that is far better than when eating a Standard American diet (Processed Food).
Keto diets have been shown in controlled studies to lower triglycerides and increase HDL much more effectively than low fat diets. Those are the lipid markers that are most important for cardiovascular disease. It also lowers blood glucose, inflammation markers and insulin which are 3 other important causes of cardiovascular disease
Omg this was amazing! Can/how can ketosis help someone who is under weight? I have a friend with health issues h-pylori etc., (on antibiotics) but can it help this profile?
You are what you eat. Your diet impacts your health. Lower stress, reduce obesity and more exercise are key to a healthy life. Obesity in children and adults is rising across the world. Fast food and sugary drinks are contributing to the problem of poor health and obesity. Eat a healthy plant based diet and exercise regularly. Reduce or ELIMINATE cows milk, eggs, cheese and meat. Eat more salad greens, beans, fruit and vegetables. Eliminate fast food, snacks like cookies, cakes, chips, and sugary drinks and juices. Every adult and child should own a bicycle and ride it regularly. Regular exercise will help you sleep better. Yoga is a great stress reducer. Obesity is all too common today. Get off the couch. Get off the phone, ipad or video game. A variety of stretching and other exercises help with increased mobility. Ride to work, ride to school, ride for fun. Every city should be a bicycle city. Speak up for bicycles in your community
I wonder if we need to consume both the C8 and C10 or if it’s an either or thing in this study Dr. Boz mentioned. And would those of us that aren’t in a mild cognitive decline still take the same amount of the MCT oil?
There are more and more keto breads out there, but now I feel like I'm eating terrible ingredients. Does anyone know of an all natural keto bread? Or recipes? Not almond flour, as too many nuts are not good for us either.
Even children today have signs of artery disease. Fast foods and sugary drinks have long term consequences. There is an obesity epidemic today where over 60% of the population is overweight or obese. What is common today and "NORMAL" is not healthy. The average person today is not healthy and is taking medications. Heart attacks were once only common in people over 65. Today people in their 40 are having heart attacks. Add more plants and vegetables to your diet and less junk and overly processed foods

With the very greatest of respect & adoration (!!) BUT this presentation was very far from simple & easy to follow - it was scary - sugar/carbs AND seed oils damage EVERY single cell in your body, giving rise to chronic, eventually lethal pathological conditions leading to prolonged (& extremely costly) & extremely painful DEATH. ON THE OTHER HAND adopting a ketogenic diet WITH FASTING (both intermittent & long term) pretty much completely prevents/cures/reverses all of the metabolic diseases, extends life & costs a great deal less… How simple is that …… ? Luv you anyway ….

Thank you anyway! I dont know, why my fasting sugar would not drop more without any carbs indeed, but I can not fast more because I need to function. I do not sleep at all with empty stomach. I am in ketosis, one can tell by the smell of ...Still, no more result. :-( @@fonpol4925
Find a lyme literate doctor. Send your blood to Igenex Labs in California where they have the most sensitive lyme/tick blood test. Arthritis is a symptom. if positive you can get treated with antibiotics. Do not leave it. You do not want this for the rest of your life.
❤ Great Interview 🎉❤
Boz is the shit !
When she says that the levels should be under 80 to loose weight, is she talking about blood sugar levels?
Please! Does someone have the answer?
It is the ratio of glucose (mg/dl) to ketones mmol/l
Thank you! @@fonpol4925
I question the assertion that lean mass hyper responders can’t do a keto diet. Who said that, when, where’s the data?
Omg this was amazing! Can/how can ketosis help someone who is under weight? I have a friend with health issues h-pylori etc., (on antibiotics) but can it help this profile?
😂ncredible interview!
Any research of keto 🥑🥓🥚🧀and intelligence for students 👩🎓, memory for healthy 👶👧kids
You look great
Even children today have signs of artery disease.
I believe there is a ckm that is being trialed by a japanese? company named Sibio... of course the tech would have to merge with a cgm. Can barely afford 1 cgm, i will not pay for 2.
You must be still following her since you made a comment on this video. If you don’t like her, you might want to just ignore her. Just sayin’! 🤪
So it’s admitted that “David” wasn’t actually monitored over 50 years, and Willey was never monitored, so I don’t understand why we’re presenting their supposed numerical data and graphs?
❤❤❤❤❤
With the very greatest of respect & adoration (!!) BUT this presentation was very far from simple & easy to follow - it was scary - sugar/carbs AND seed oils damage EVERY single cell in your body, giving rise to chronic, eventually lethal pathological conditions leading to prolonged (& extremely costly) & extremely painful DEATH.
ON THE OTHER HAND adopting a ketogenic diet WITH FASTING (both intermittent & long term) pretty much completely prevents/cures/reverses all of the metabolic diseases, extends life & costs a great deal less…
How simple is that …… ?
Luv you anyway ….
I used to follow Dr Boz closely until every video became about drinking exogenous ketones, preferably her brand of ketones.
I agree. I used to watch everything she put out…but then she just started coming off somewhat disingenuous to me.
Well, you are here at Levels and are they also not selling things? It‘s only a small part of this video and I don‘t blame her for wanting to earn money for a worthy cause and hard work.
@@marijkepeereboom6442 levels don't 'sell' their product as the solution to everything. I left Dr Boz behind when exogenous ketones became the key to everything. It's a matter of degree
It costs you nothing to watch, you don't have to buy anything. The information she provides is invaluable. Thanks for this podcast.
@@barbaram4403 I think the issue is that I, and a lot of folks, no longer trust her judgement/advice
Keto is NOT good. we need carbs. I do Paleo...and people need to stop saying diet..it is a LIVE-IE. U eat what u can eat the rest of you life. U can't use my live-t word unless u give me credit for it. I am using it in my book... BTW I share u Dr. Casey Means all over facebook and telegram.
❤😂
*Too long introduction, get to the point. Jeez!* 😢
Paleo is better for us than Keto. we need carbs. I do paleo and for me it is a LIVE-IT. not a Die-IT
Quackery
Keep drinking that Kool-Aid! The rest of us here are done with it.
