When you take your cat or dog into the vet, the first thing they ask is "What are you feeding him/her?" When you see your doctor, this is not even discussed (unless you tell your doctor you're doing Keto)

Ain’t that the truth! The wolves and the lions eat meat…what do the dogs and cats eat? It’s a mystery! If you let the cat out, do they ever bring home broccoli or kale? Or birds and mice?

Georgia was one of the early influencers in my journey to the Ketogenic diet. After two years on Keto I transitioned to carnivore right after Ken Berry went carnivore. Keto resolved many issues but a lifetime of various levels of depression remained until I went carnivore. I am 78 and will never eat any other way! I am on no meds, and at my age that is crazy😂❤🙏

@@Amanda_downunder I used to take meds for depression 35 years ago but soon realized that I was one of the 20 percent that did not respond to antidepressants. So, for the last 25 or so years I’ve just dealt with it until I discovered the ketogenic diet and ultimately the carnivore way of life.❤️
PS. I eat one or two meals daily. It depends on changes in routine and interactions with friends 🙏🏽

Dear Abby printed a letter today from a neurologist who was asking for volunteers to take a drug they were testing to prevent Alsheimers. The plan was to give medication to people and have them take it for twenty years PRIOR to the usual age when the disease appeared. Maybe we can send him a copy of this book instead?

I just felt giddy, like this was something I'd been looking for my entire life. Had I been able to do this way of eating in college, my life would have turned out much richer, still grateful.

Can't wait to obtain Dr. Ede's book. We need to assist folks that have mental health disorders and just being prescribed medications by the psychiatric community in most cases don't work as intended with related side effects that side tract weight loss. There needs to be grass-roots involvement to overturn the trends of over-medicating patients. Change your food, change your life .......😀

I've just read the book CHANGE YOUR DIET CHANGE YOUR MIND and, besides things that I had already learned, what has been a real mind blowing is the fact that cheese can be addictive like sugar!!
I'm Italian and love parmigiano cheese and when I start eating it, I end up having even 100 GR which is quite a lot! It's definitely addictive and now I know it's the caseine that when breaks down in the stomach becomes kind of morfine that affects the dopamine in the brain and triggers addiction.
    (Put it really simple).
What I personally took from this book is that I don't even have to buy cheese anymore and have instead more fish or grass fed beef.

Dr. Ede, talks a lot about a “ketogenic diet” but she never defines it. I would be interested in how she defines the diet. At 15:00 in the video, Westman talks about the medical community labels, but he is imprecise (and wrong) in his labeling of a keto diet. A keto diet is not the same as a very low carb diet. A keto diet is a diet that induces ketosis in a particular person. It is very stupid to assume ketosis based on the amount of carbs. Many people (me included) do not go into ketosis on a zero carb diet. The reason is because protein produces an insulin response. It is not smart to ignore the effects of protein preventing ketosis. At 28:46 Westman finally mentions that measuring ketones is important. This is the first time I’ve seen that and I’m glad that he is learning the importance of measuring ketones.
