I have used it for years, and I use the same procedure, and works great. This video is not faked, it works this good. No gloves actually needed and doesn’t burn skin, bad smell or irritates eyes. This stuff doesn’t harm lawn if you do it in grass.
Hello Tom.... this video for some reason went crazy, it is actually a throw together we did in the shop , Paul uses this stuff for his furniture restoration.... we just happen to use it on the car... and it worked well.

Once the liner is removed, what is the best way to prepare the surface for it new paint? I used rhino liner on my fairings for my motorcycle and now it’s all pealing and doesn’t look great. I may try this out.

Question. I'm doing a restoration where I am trying to find the original primer color painted on the underbody. However, the car's underbody sheet metal seems to have a thin layer of a grey/black rhino liner type coating. I say that because the texture is certainly there - kind of similar to an 80 grit sandpaper, but smooth vs. abrasive. Not sure really what it is but I don't think it's primer. Also, it doesn't seem to be rubbery like undercoating. It's hard. Anyway, have any thoughts on removing just that layer to have a chance at the primer underneath? I have used citrus remover before, and I think if you let it sit only minutes, you have a chance at seeing the layers come off vs. everything above the metal. Otherwise, I thought of a flap disc, maybe a layer at a time. Thoughts?

does that work on paint also?
Yes its basically used for paint. Thanks for asking!
Will this work with Herculiner??
We have never tried it on that. We have this product here... Will try it on a panel or part we have to remove off something!
does it work on powder coating ?
Powder coating is enameled baked if it is a silica based it will not touch it that is why old gas station signage never faded.
Why did you guys remove the liner in the first place did it do something wrong is it not good on cars or you guys just wanted to change it??
When the bottom side is stripped, will you separate the car from the frame?
Going to remove the body from frame before we start any removal of the liner.. we have to get the body onto the rotisserie to start. Thankyou!
Awesome I can get the rhino liner of my truck bed so I can paint it

Same here!
I just put citristrip on the side of a school bus that was painted with bed liner and covered it in plastic. Will see in 24 hours how effective it was 👍

Hot dang. I need this.
God bless y’all
Definitely sounds like your sponsored by them lol
Nope! The owner brought that stuff in to us he uses that stuff on his house projects.. so we tried it!
@@ES4406 I’m definitely going to give it a try looking to re do my bed liner hopefully it works 🙏🏼
A torch and a scraper works better and way faster
Used this stuff on a Truck I bought some one did the whole truck in it. Took 2 gallons of this stuff but wow. So nice to the moron who sprayed this on did zero prep, I was able to wet sand the paint job under the coating & buff out though I was going to half to repaint it I may reclear it tho.
good to hear it worked... we are not sponsored by this product we are like everyone here on you tube, found something that works and dosent smell or burn skin while applying....
Hi earl, now thats powerful stripper.
A fella should have to strip a hundred square feet of that garbage bed lining product, before even being able buy it.
Total crap on my end. Did nothing. My bed laughed at it
