My dad owned a yacht brokerage in Clear Lake, Tx back in the 90’s and he had all sorts of amazing motor yachts. I’m talking huge boats- but my absolute favorite boat he ever had come in was a Hans Christian just like this. He’s a powerboat guy- but I always wanted to sail away in this exact boat and go to some deserted island 🏝️
Nice boat . Most all the fixtures and fittings you are calling brass are actually bronze . The only brass I saw was the support column at the settee table .
Not sure that's a 43. Looks more like a 38 Mk II. I've owned Hans Christian for over 40 years and have never seen a 43 with the split galley. That was a feature of the 39 Mk II. Perhaps he is talking overall rather than the LOD which is what Hans used as their measurement. Also, if you are selling something tell us the price.
It's an HC 43 because it has the portholes in the hull on port and starboard beneath the whisker stays. There are lots of different interior configurations depending upon owners instructions when ordering the new yacht, as well as which shipyard built it.
at 0:48 you casually mention "the boat does not have an engine", even thought the caption says it has a rebuilt Ford Lehman Diesel. Did I hear you wrong or is there an engine?
Hi John, this boat has been sold. You may want to check our other listing. Take a virtual tour to our website or give us a call for a quick chat. coastalboatsales.com.au/
Love the boat. BTW, Landlubber, there is no "back" on a ship, it's the "stern". If you sell them, learn the nautical language. Waiting to hear you say "Floor", "Ceiling" or "Door"...
When i look at boats that are for sale on youtube. (particularly sailboats, as i am in the market),,,,,,,The seller never ever puts the price up for people to see. This is a completely wasted effort for the seller. I have just been to the brokers site and all i have found is two boats for sale and a million with "SOLD" splashed across the advert and they were all motorised speed type boats. For gods sake can you brokers get a grip, us that are in the market, particularly me !!!!!! am getting a bit pissed off with chasing fresh air. And if the boat is no longer on the market,,,,for gods sake get rid of the bloody vid or the advert, this too pisses me off.
Some brokers are good at maintaining their stock in UA-cam. They mark it as sold when gone. As to the price... yeah, that's an annoyance for buyers. But the prices are subject to change and you can't change it easily if stated in a video. So it is in the brokers best interest to keep things flexible and post it o their website or optionally in the description. It would be helpful to have an up to date price and sold status in the description.
@@southernfriedkiwi6340 some brokers do this. But on the whole, tracking all kinds of listings and modifying every location where the price is displayed is time consuming. Not just UA-cam but each site and medium where the boat is listed... ugh. I wouldn't do it. It's easiest to consolidate potential sellers at the one, master listing.
@@jordanharkness I agree, I would consolidate in one listing as well. However, if the agent chooses to branch out to other listings sites, they should follow through with some effort, to justify their commission.
Hi Motor-head, you are correct, thank you for pointing that out. Many others have also pointed out my use of incorrect terms. It has forced me to educate myself and learn brass is an alloy of copper and zinc and bronze is an alloy of copper and tin. Admittedly, I do make mistakes and I'm always receptive to learning new information. Thank you for sharing and being help full. All the best. CBS

Love this boat . I’ve sailed on one many times . Sails great especially in high wind . The only downside cockpit is small and uncomfortable.

The outside seems cluttered, the inside is classically beautiful!

The vessel does have an engine. Having said that the boat has since sold.😁👍🏻

Nice boat, maybe learn how to sail, learn the terminology, before you show a boat. It was distracting.

@@jordanharkness They can simply add the price in the description and change that for any price drops.

The hardware and fittings are bronze, not brass. Learn what you're talking about man.
