@@twittertwice Your reply makes no sense. Our immigration laws do not exist to "help Harry." They exist because these are the rules the USA has determined that need to be followed. The same rules and procedures apply to everyone. Famous people in the past have had to deal with these same questions. Harry is no different because he is the son of a king.
This case also has no bearing on the British monarchy. These are US laws. The monarchy does not have any rights in whether the US government lets ANYONE into this country.
Just as Americans don't get to protest if the British government doesn't give a visa to an AMERICAN celebrity. We are both sovereign nations with our own laws.
The understanding we have here in the US is that Harry is NOT here as a British diplomat. Thus he needs to follow the same immigration laws as other people.
If Harry IS here on a diplomatic visa, we have a right to know that also. We don't have "secret" diplomats that enter the country in order to accomplish some mission. Certain people can enter the country on a diplomatic visa, but that is regulated as well.
There are enough questions about Harry's application to request a review.

No fan of Harry, but I don’t think he’s trying to keep it private; it’s Homeland Security that’s trying to keep it private. This isn’t really an issue about Prince Harry so much as it is an issue about Homeland security and do they grant privileges to certain individuals that the rest of us would not have. Harry’s visa application just happens to be the vehicle that the heritage foundation is using to challenge Homeland security.
Perhaps because there isn't any paperwork? Given the current government protecting him so far - and stalling - I wouldn't put it pass them to fabricate and back-date before releasing.

We don't know for sure. He may have stated that he used drugs. If he didn't...he lied! But we don't know. I suspect you are right. That may be why he is getting nervous about going back to the UK and how he would be welcomed. If he has an immigration lawyer, they are definitely telling him to tell the truth and disclose everything.

I understand that on a diplomatic visa you are also not allowed to work. Another can of worms would them appear if that applied to Harry.

H has forfeited his right to privacy in respect of what information he included in his immigration documents, because he has not lived privately since he came to the US - precisely the opposite. He has made a considerable amount of money by revealing every conceivable private detail pertaining to his own life, and of his family's (whilst fiercely protecting the privacy of his own wife and children), whether we, the public, wanted to hear any of it or not. So now, the public is owed this 'private' information, whether he wants to give it or not.

@@barbq1976 I am not certain of the fact but hasn't Meghan claimed black heritage from other countries, like Jamaica and Kenya when it suited. They behaved very badly in Africa (followed up by Mandela claims which were untrue) and were an embarrassment because Meghan was being a victim during the visit and they had just had a massive wedding, mansion and wonderful job opportunity all given to them, while the people they were visiting really needed their support.

I am a former Assistant District Attorney in NYC, Brooklyn, in the Narcotics Bureau. I was there in the 80's when crack was a life threatening problem for the children in NYC. In this matter I was hoping for in camera review, because no side can plead there is any harm done by the judge seeing the documents in question. The clincher, though, is the arguable concept that once a judge has knowledge of an apparent crime, he must report it to the appropriate authorities. Then the appropriate authorities take action. Here the Petitioners were detailed in submitting to the Judge not only his Autobiography, but also every interview in which he admitted to drug use. [Indeed, there may be a lot more footage that was never used for a broadcast]
Thus, if Just Harry's visa application states nothing about his drug use, the judge will likely feel obliged to turn over this information to the appropriate federal agency to investigate this seemingly documented lie to federal agents, in direct violation of 18 USC 1001, which states: making false statements or concealing anything from a federal agent or investigator who is a member of any governmental branch IS A FEDERAL CRIME. A “false statement” could be a material omission, a misrepresentation, or the use of a fraudulent document. We shall see!

Talk is all that they have ever done and most likely all that they are good for now. Harry is good at sport and they both had a fair amount of money but I am guessing that lawyers, PR firms and making small donations to those who can improve their status will have used that money up.
He either lied on his visa application, or he didn’t. If he did, he SHOULD be deported. If he didn’t, he got preferential treatment because he is a prince. However, since he came to the states, he has worked with others like him, to try to destroy the constitutional rights of Americans. As an American, he should be deported for that reason.

Considering that the judge made it clear that he may have to view these documents himself, why is he giving DHS an additional 2 weeks to produce, what is surely going to be recently altered documents? How many of us think that DHS will say to the judge "We do apologize, but we can not locate these documents."

@@kristend344people in the UK have to complete an ESTA if they want to come into the USA. If you have a conviction - even a traffic conviction where you received a fine - you have to go to the US embassy to be interviewed before a visa is granted, no matter how long ago that conviction was.

It is my belief on reports of their overseas visits to South Africa, Australia not sure about New Zealand, certainly Canada they were less than gracious or even well mannered at times any where they visited representing Queen Elizabeth and UK. It's hard to imagine anyone admitting drug use on a visa application knowing it would disqualify them from entry. Alternative is even worse. DOJ has a problem. Arguing that written and filmed verbal confessions of drug use don't indicate drug use was embarrassing and desperate.

The USA rejects thousands of visa applications for prior or current drug use. The late Amy Winehouse visa application was denied because of her drug use.

In the end I think he will decide not to make it public but at the end it doesn't matter.
The damage is done i.e. the scrutiny on Harry will make it more difficult for him to get favors like this in future, if in fact, DHS did look the other way in regards to his application.

imo the judge also needs to look at the date Hazmat entered the US from Canada, cos it appears he likely entered much earlier than was reported in the media. Possibly as early as late Jan 2020 rather than March 2020, as it was rumored the very first videos/Zoom calls they made, they were staying in Orpah Winfrey's guesthouse. Also btw it would be interesting to see the flight log of Tyler Perry's private jet to see if a child travelled with the SuckEggses & Dorito.
I'm still not convinced that any immigration papers were filled out. Perhaps he was given a fast track entry without having to fulfil the same obligations as everyone else.
You are missing part of the issue, in the US there is a really big issue where the DHS is not upholding the letter of the law as far as immigration is concerned. The question that the Heritage Foundation is asking is did H tell the truth on his application and the DHS looked the other way OR did he lie and the DHS gave him a pass. Either way the DHS clearly does not want to be looked at because they let him go against the law. The American people want immigration laws to be followed by the DHS for ALL immigrants not just for those DHS picks and chooses to follow. Biden’s policies and DHS has created havoc with our borders and it needs to be stopped!
The thing is, Harry's visa would have been processed under the Trump administration. I assume the paperwork would have to be completed before H entered the US in June 2020, several months before the Nov election.

If you've ever watched those Border Security programs on tv, when a man gets caught up at customs for trying to bring in inadmissible products into a country, you'll often hear "my wife filled out the form. I just signed it". Maybe Megzy had a huge say in what was written down?

The fact that the DHS's Attorney said that the statement of drug use in his book doesn't means he took drugs means Harry did lie on his application. That's obvious!
Wow, this now very interesting. He has really put himself between a rock and a hard place. He either lied on the application, or he has to disown his own book as a bunch of lies, either way he is a proven liar. Even worse, he had preferential treatment, which will also erode his image even further, and potentially expose the department of immigration as a bunch of hypocrites, which will have huge political repercussions in the USA.
If we take Henry on past performance, he will have believed that he is a Prince and therefore demands special treatment. That being considerered he probably lied (alledgedly IMO) because the rules do not apply to him as they do to the rest of us.
Should that be the case he has commited a felony and therefore will either be prosecuted or deported.
If the judge finds that Henry has broken the law he will be duty bound to reveal this to the relevant authorities.
This of course is all hypothetical. But boy is it going to be fun to watch.

I'm wondering which harm it could cause. Harry already disclosed the fact that he abused and still abuses substances so either he lied on the application and the government didn't do its job in looking into informations that are, frankly, in the public domaine and easy to access or he didn't lie and the government gave him special treatment. The harm is for the government either way. As for the status of Harry's visa, at the end of the day, Harry did say in multiple interviews and book that he still take drugs which is ILLEGAL for any foreigners anywhere in the US regardless of the California state laws. He is susceptible anyway to see his visa not renewed on this single basis.
And yet he apparently is STILL able to pop back and forth between the US and the UK.....Why?!

I have a compromise we beg Elon to place Hawwy and Methane on the first shop to the Moon or Mars(whichever comes first), this way no place on Earth has to deal with the traitorous twosome.
