    Paul doesn't have to apologize for his observations. In many areas, America is not enforcing its own laws. It panders to the worst elements of society instead of looking out for the citizens who abide by the laws. One point: New York City is not "the best" America has to offer, but I understand why many people fall for the hype. It does not matter how many art museums a city has if your grandmother can be pushed into traffic simply because she's Asian, and thieves get away with destroying stores and nothing is done about it, so stores just have to close.

    I Found You! I was wondering what happened. I began to wonder if you dropped off the face of the earth. I know the farm videos weren't doing to good, but I always found them interesting. I liked your Vietnam videos. I actually lived in Vietnam for a year. I had been to Da Lat and Da Nang, but I loved Nha Trang, even though I worked in Saigon.
    I'm tired of all the BS in the US and have my house up for sale and hope to be living in Thailand within the next 4 months. I spent time in Prachuap Khiri Khan the last time I was in Thailand, but I'll probably be living in Hua Hin.

    At 28:18...Paul misspoke when he said he was of "Korean nationality". He meant to say that he was of Korean ethnicity. Paul was born in the US which makes his nationality, American.

    • @hannuharju-seppanen3438

      @kevinp8108 7 місяців тому +1

      @@hannuharju-seppanen3438 - Paul specifically said "Korean nationality" which means he is a Korean citizen. Unless he has applied for Korean citizenship through his parents, his country of citizenship is the USA. Unfortunately, many Americans don't know the difference between nationality and ethnicity.

    Immigration might have other thoughts. Unless one gets Permanent Residency or even Citizenship “never going back” is not guaranteed. Been in Thailand for 7 years and nothing is guaranteed.

    • @kevinp8108
      @kevinp8108 7 місяців тому +3

      @mikeparker6322 - the only change I see in terms of immigration is Thailand's crackdown on border runs. Foreigners who avoid getting a long-term visa by exiting and re-entering Thailand to get another 30 days or more on their passports. These border runners are seen as undesirable visitors to Thailand who try to circumvent the system in order to stay long-term.

    After 20 years in nyc i had enough of exhorbitant rents and $300 for a prescription. If you're young and nyc is all new you might perceive it as worth the cost. If you're working for your money nyc felt like a complete rip off after 20 years. Don't get me started about taxes. I paid more than anyone i know. Taxes are higher in europe but the government provides the essentials. In america you get nothing....

    Can’t say I’d never go back. If you tune out the media nonsense you’d really not notice much difference there. I was just there for a month and except for prices being a bit higher I didn’t notice any real difference. My properties there are still doing great and I think people, especially on UA-cam, blow the problems way out of proportion. But I do love Thailand. Moved here for my wife of 15 years so she could spend time near her family. Been here 2 years now. If we stay it’ll be because of what Thailand offers and not because of what the U.S. doesn’t. I can live quite well in either place.
