theyd only met a few months before this gig! they were this good straight out of the gate!!!!
Love this. They're so casual. They just get up and play this awesome music with no fuss. The audience had never heard anything like this before and so were stunned. They were so young and had only been together for a few months and yet they're so perfect. Led Zeppelin are by far the best and most talented band ever. Thanks for this Silas.
Jimmy had already been a professional guitar player for local bands. He started playing guitar when he was a young teenager. Like every other musician in London at the time, they were all being inspired American black southern delta blues. And they all wanted to form their own bands. Jimmy put together one heck of a band")
I would have been rockin on that floor❣️💜
This will not be done nowadays. The crowd about 4 feet from them. Raw and even real music being played, beautiful.
Thanks for more Led Zeppelin
My favorite band since 69❤
Nice! Back to Zeppelin!!
Young people you don't understand this was it the beginning of it all we grew up when it was all happening the revolution in rock best time ever no cell phones no computer,s you had to actually go buy album's or hear it on the radio whole different time it will never come again!!!!!!
Never saw this video before, awesome to see them so young again. They’re actually a bit older than I am, but I remember their early music days well. I was 12 in 69. Ha!
There’s a couple more videos from this show.
the show is aboput 30 mins long, great early set. check out royal albert hall 1970 too, steller
@@Scoobydcs yes it is, I’ve watched all 4 live concerts, Royal Albert Hall (1970) * Madison Square Gardens (1973) * Earls Court (1975) & Knebworth (1979). They’ve all Ben great to watch, I did see The Song Remains The Same, in the theater back when it came out.
This is just a 'basement' jam, that they brought to a stage, so we could watch.
I think this show was in March of 69, early in the year anyways, Page’s birthday is in January so is JPJ’s. Bonham’s is in May, & Plants is August 20th, the day after their first rehearsal together. By this time they did the 6 Scandinavian gigs as The New Yardbirds, & a few shows in the USA. Their first album was released in the US in January, but not until March in Europe. I’m so glad you, & many other young people are loving Led Zeppelin. Hopefully for decades like us. Yes you could now watch live performances, they are great to watch. End of the month, I’m going to see Get The Led Out, so looking forward to it. Thanks for your reaction.
This reaction must be blocked in many places because otherwise it would have a TON more views! What an amazing song and performance!
❤❤❤Robert ❤❤❤
Creating with the band can be better than laying tracks separately....

The story goes that the students were told they had to sit quietly!! Can you imagine? They had no clue Rock Royalty was in front of them…Great to see you back on the mighty Zeppelin GOATS….FACT!!!!
Very awesome!!!
Thanks! Watched this before but never noticed the wedding band!
Lol. Yah, Bonzo and Plant were just whipper snappers at that time.

@vhsgeneration9404 no he was 25
i never watch a reaction that does not do studio first LISTEN TO THE REAL SONG THAT MADE IT FAMOUS FOR THE AUTHENTIC REACTION EVERYONE HAD
And you thought Eddie was the first
I will never get over the audience reaction, or lack thereof. What are they thinking? Obviously not, "This is the day I will talk about for the rest of my life!"
I wonder how many in the audience are still alive, and how many others that age claim to have been there? Probably more than Woodstock.
They were told to sit still. What's with your insulting tone?
out of sync several times but they were a jam band in the early days
