    This video was filmed when I was invited to the Pulsar RS200 Ride by Bajaj as a Special Guest. Pulsarmaniacs 1st anniversary ride. This is recommended for any motorcycle like the 2017 KTM Duke 390, 2017 KTM RC390, yamaha R3, Bajaj Pulsar RS200, Pulsar NS160, Pulsar NS200 etc or for that matter even for Motorcycles like the Triumph Street Triple, Kawasaki Z900 , Z1000, Z800, Daytona 675 etc. My Facebook Page: www.Facebook.com/Vikas.Rachamalla

    For beginners, stopping a bike in motion is something that nobody usually talks about, it is always about how to start from standstill...!!
    Thanks Vikas.!

    it was great explaination about breaks but what should we do during panic braking on high speeds so that we don't fall off the bike especially from a cruiser bike.

    • @ravi_1726
      @ravi_1726 7 років тому +1

      Chitraank Gupta simple .... don't brake...

    • @Ericsson705
      @Ericsson705 7 років тому +2

      Chitraank Gupta you don't need to panic at that time...
      There are few riders who gets panic (like me) when the rear wheel locks...
      But the point is you need to be calm and control the bike as much as possible but be sure not to keep your all 4 fingers on the brake lever... While panic braking.
      Always do 2 finger braking and brake according to the situation and distance ahead of you, gradually press the levers..

    • @meditateon2wheels
      @meditateon2wheels 7 років тому +2

      Engine breaking is very useful in those kind of situations. Ride safe.

    • @Ericsson705
      @Ericsson705 7 років тому +1

      meditateon2wheels engine braking might skid the rear tyer if you don't have Slipper Clutch

    • @meditateon2wheels
      @meditateon2wheels 7 років тому +5

      I ride a Royal Enfield Bullet 500, what I've learned from my experience is that if you go down one or two gears, there won't be any locking of the rear wheel. But it all depends on the bike you are riding I guess. Applying the front and rear brakes while engine breaking will reduce the chance of the rear locking as the bike slows down to the speeds suitable for lower gears. Practice engine breaking with normal breaking under safe conditions and make it a habit.

    Nicely explained bro, but I'd be better if we keep a habit of using both break everytime to stop the bike. Front break has 90% stopping power, but if we squeeze it too hard, front tire will start skidding and lose traction and either we'll fall or collid with something or someone.

    I was new to bikes, bought pulsar 135LS back in 2014 and found out that rear breaks was just gimmick not really works much in 135LS(not sure about other bikes) so I started using front brake its works like magic with rear combined together, bike comes down to 40km from 85km really fast. I have't ride any other bikes but 135LS got excellent front disk break.
