- Understanding Engine OIL Grading Numbers. For an example: What is 10W40. 20W50 engine OIL. Motul 300V, Motul 7100. Shell, Bajaj oils, Yamalube etc.. This video was filmed when I was invited to the Pulsar RS200 Ride by Bajaj as a Special Guest. Pulsarmaniacs 1st anniversary ride. Yess definitely becouse if u use ur bike in higher rpm it creates heat.
So 10w50 will work remain in its ideal conditions where 10w40 will be out of its property.
10w50 is more heat resistance then 10w40. Will work better in heat
In cold both are same .
But if u ride normal no more heat is produced use 10w40👍 why to spend more money

Mate.. There is a lot of myths about 300v online. Like it will become thick and won't circulate easily inside after long term, it'll break down etc.. Can i use 300v 15w-50 for extended use(like >7,500) on duke 200 ? Please answer vikas sir

After reading online reviews of gixxer sf users, I decided to go with motul 10w40 7100 synthetic oil. but the showroom people refused to use the oil saying that the engine warranty will become void. but the service manual says to prefer any oil of the same grade. what to do now?
Where did you procure the oil from? From outside or the SVC itself? If they are refusing then call Suzuki customer service and lodge a complaint. I have personally talked with Suzuki and they have clearly told me that 7100 can be used in SF without any issues

I think Vikas Rachamalla sir has tremendous knowledge about bikes he not only rides bikes and make vlogs he also have much knowledge about motorcycles than other motovloggers but why sir have only few subscribers than other motovloggers who only ride there bikes and talking and making fun in there videos of the ride only... Brother, I have a question.. I have apache 160 RTR.. and it's been 8 years.. and the problem I am facing right now is my engine oil (motul 10w40) is getting emptied up really too soon.. like in just 2000 kms... what could be the issue here?
Showroom guys are telling me that work needs to be done on the engine.. like changing piston or connecting rods and all... and they are telling me that the cost would go up to ₹12k..
So I thought why not ask the same thing with an expert first and then do what you'd suggest me?

Bro use spel 20w 50 mineral base m using it in my bike and believe me more than happy . its Indian brand and it's value for money.can easily run 4000 km and still has viscosity even my mechanic was strange.

Try Mobil 1000 to 3000 range.
In India we need to use 0 w50 oil
Make sure it is api sn for dry clutch or jaso for Indian bikes with wet clutch

I have Honda Unicorn 150 and a CBR250R...
For both the bikes I use Motul 20W40 oil of 1.2 L.. And i ride my Unicorn 150 till 3000km and change the oil.. But I didn't done this to CBR coz I recently bought this bike second hand and I've only clocked 400km after the servicing.. So is it ok to put 1.2L 20W40 oil in both 250-150 cc bikes?

Bro...instead you can try Motul 7100 Fully Synthetic 20w50...on both your motorcycles.
It will easily go upto 6000 to 7000 kilometers.
I am using it on my Hornet 160r CBS and the results are faboulous.
No need to change your engine oil so frequently...this simply like throwing away money, as Vikas said in this vlog.
These oils are so well engineered, that their viscosity remains for quite a long time.

RaaZ raxa Motul 5100 should be good enough if its carb. variant. If its FI you may go for Motul 7100. But you may take some expert's advice as well. ✌

I have used MOBILE 1 & MOTUL 7100 both in XTREME SPORTS
At the end my understanding is like----
You may use both MOTUL 5100 (10W30) or MOTUL 7100 (10W40)
i use 300v on my cbr 250r, no issues just increased the oil change intreval to 5000 instead of 3000.

20w50 is best for Indian condition.. Bikes with slipper clutch they can opt synthetic 4t oil .. Bikes like Honda shine, bajaj 150, tvs , etc will run happy on Base oils .. Putting synthetic oil to these bikes is not advisable.. Scooters will surely run happy on 15w40 oil .
