    One more thing Vikas, lean forward while launching. This will minimise popping of front wheel. And you can give a bit extra throttle.

    Hi,
    I'm an bike enthusiast and I'm residing at Bangalore.I Hope you have noticed in metro cities that the bikes are parked mostly on streets which is not so safe.
    May be due to space constraints and more other factors people are forced park bikes outside their premises. May be this could be the reason people are not ready to buy premium bikes even if they could afford one. It would be good if you do a video on "how to protect our bike from theft" or "Better ways to park in metro"
    Even if people are aware about this, you vlog may give confident to people to buy a bike and sleep peacefully.
    Please do the needful !!
    Regards
    Vj.b

      For revv matching, you need to know how your motorcycle behaves at different rpm's and different gears. So, just practice. Blip the throttle while downshifting, and you'll soon get a hang of it. Ride Safe!

    Thank you for making this video. Very well explained. Good job.
    I was the one who asked for this video and well the answer isn't complete. I have a small doubt.
    Consider the first 3 gears are short and the rest is long, at which rpm should I shift up in shorter gears and in longer gears?
    I have heard that in long gears we have to redline it. But what about shorter gears?

    I own the 2017 Duke 390 and whenever I shift the gear up in low rpm the gear feels hard and when I shift down in high rpm it feels hard again. In city I cannot always change the gears at higher rpms so it feels quiet hard. At first I didn't mind it but now it's getting irritating. Do u know any solution to my problem. Thank you in advance

      Well even if u pull the full thing u waste fuel to my knowledge do it gradually the bike will speed up according to it's capacity of it's bhp and torque just full throttle dosent burn the fuel completely and causes problem in the engine if not on appropiate speeds

  • @jianliu9420

    How to improve this is to use your rear brake instead. The front will not rise during launch giving you a much more stable start. Also because you are not using front brake now it is also easier to control your throttle hand.

    When i am riding downhill(down wards) and want to go in min speed at that position holding CLUTCH is good or should i leave my clutch.(At this position i dont want to use acceleration and my bike wants to flow by itself)
    PLZ SUGGEST ME THE CLUTCH POSITION MUST BE AT THIS POINT.

    • @khullaasaand
      @khullaasaand 6 років тому

      No... You should pull the clutch only when shifting gear to lower speed. If you use keep pulling the clutch, it will disengage the bike from braking mechanism

    • @khullaasaand
      @khullaasaand 6 років тому

      Use front brake... lower the speed.... use clutch and downshift while slightly letting go of brake.... let go of clutch and use front brake.... do so till you reach the speed at which you want to ride in... keep throttle steading while applying front brake occasionally when the bike starts to gain speed

    • @realsteelgarage3050

      No bro holding the clutch will disengage the engine from the wheels so the engine braking will not effect to slow down the motorcycle in downhill
