Great aircraft, great company, and a great team. The perfect combination for bringing the very best to the aviation industry. When you hear the name Boeing, you can rest assured you will be looking at a masterpiece. And a great video too :-)
I fly these things for a living. All I want to know is: 1. Are the seats any more comfortable ? 2. Is the flight deck any wider ? 3. Is the flight deck significantly quieter?
+sadman hoque Boeing Industries was founded in 1916 and now we have 2016 - so Boeing starts the second century since their establishment. ... But Boeing Industries "says" that Boeing was established on the 15th July in 1916 that would mean that the first century of Boeing is not completed.
Could someone please explain the new features? The split winglet, the hemisphere on the fuselage, the small chute on the tail... Doesn't it add up to drag? The chute I mean...
This took forever to come and now it's finally here but then the problem is most airlines replaced there old b737s with a320neos I bet that's what happens when stuff comes out abit late
YYYYYEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSS. If I could fly any aircraft for the rest of my life I would choose the 737 max. I hope that every airline that has purchased this wondercraft will enjoy it. I know I would.
I can't wait to fly it, congratulations Boeing on the first flight!
A classic that NEVER gets old.
The take off was so short. impressive
This airplane looks tons of better than the airbus
yes you are right
From B737- 200/300/400/500/800/900 to 777 and 747' More than 400 landing and take off since 3 years ago..how could I not be a fan of boeing ?
+andi milan lol
Chuck_ 115 chuck...are you join infinite flight game simulator? I ever see your name there?
+andi milan yes
0:25 got your own gang signs.
What's the little black thing flying from the rudder?
+hotmojoe. Trailing cone, it serves to measure the static pressure.
Lucas Leandro Oh I thought it was the little holder for the banner but then I was like "No... it's still there on landing roll... idk"
Lucas Leandro Thanks though.
+hotmojoe. what is it?
It's a stabiliser for a trailing wire static source which measures static pressure readings free of any air disturbance near the aircraft itself.
Aside from the fact that Boeing produces great airplanes, the soundtracks they use for their videos are topnotch.

Congratulations Boeing!!
Really nice airplane. The new winglets look amazing.
Woo hoo! Congratulations, Boeing! I love the 737-8MAX! So beautiful! Congratulations! I know this will lead to many great things!
First plane of our second century. What a proud thing to say.
What a landing! The tires didn't even leave smoke when they hit the runway. Wow!
Congratulations! Can't wait for more to come from Boeing
What an Amazing Beautiful airplane Congratulations to you Boeing
Finally . We've been waiting since 2012 for this
Congratulations BOEING! Another great work is made reality! You are the best!
I loved that it kept the 737-300 inclination standard!
737-300???? that old plane
I fly these things for a living. All I want to know is:
1. Are the seats any more comfortable ?
2. Is the flight deck any wider ?
3. Is the flight deck significantly quieter?
Great Plane and Video. Im a big fan of Boeing
Wow. I am excited to see the full display of its flying ability.
INCREDIBLE! I WANT TO HOP ON THE 737MAX! GREAT JOB BOEING!
Again a beautiful plane from Boeing.
If Boeing one day stops making the 737 it is gonna be a hard life
UAU.
Nice airplane, and as she take off fast, despite being very light.
Beautiful aircraft.
I like the wings shape and its high maneuverability
I love the Boeing livery for it! Can't wait to see these on the tarmac.
2017 you can see in tarmac.
I can't believe I missed this. I'm almost ashamed I left Seattle almost three years ago now...
Loving the new look! The engines look great and those wings are beautiful!
Great work Boeing...!!! Congratulation..!!! Finally the dream has became a reality.. Best wishes...(1st one to comment!)
what do they mean first plane of 2nd century?
+sadman hoque
Boeing Industries was founded in 1916 and now we have 2016 - so Boeing starts the second century since their establishment.
... But Boeing Industries "says" that Boeing was established on the 15th July in 1916 that would mean that the first century of Boeing is not completed.
Christian Lysek ohhhhhh!
+Christian Lysek usually they go by year though not the exact date.
That's one gorgeous aircraft...cannot wait to fly one!
@2:48 How'd a company like Boeing get the American flag orientation wrong on their jackets?
Expecting it to be in my favourite airlines fleets as soon as possible
Wonderful machine that deserves celebration. I have such a leader, 737-800-ast.
True, this older type. Thanks for posting.
the winglets look awesome
cant wait for it to go into service with airlines
Awesome short documentary! Great job Boeing!
What's with the tiny parachute on the first flight of new planes?
Is that an antenna trailing from the top of the rudder? Will it be standard or is it just for testing?
Can't wait to hear what the performance testing results are in comparison to expectations
what is the thing attached to the tail????
7 11th 54rr5t444 445555555505454rrrtttt57a221 the same time.
Damn, its about time! Im so exited to fly this for Southwest
Its...Beautiful! especially with those nice winglets.
What happen to the t8t why aren't we getting those instead of just upgraded 787 just wondering?
It would be great if more was said about specific improvements and what makes it a stand out from previous editions.
They already have a video on that.
Congratulations BOEING!
I am happy to be a part of the team...
Not much deference on the cockpit windows is there?
One small test flight, the first of many thousands of planes that will be in the skies in a few years.
@2:40 what were they censoring on the door
+aviationlover1809 Looked like some type of paper work.
+JakesTornadoGaming h0
ILLUMINATI!!!!
Zachary Legaspi Noice ;)
+Alyssa Peters lol
whats with the flutter like vibrations on the elevator at the landing ? is it because of reversed thrust ?
CONGRATULATIONS !!!!!!
Love it! Keeping the 737 shape and look
What is the purpose of the windsock like thing that trails off the tip of the back rudder?
At least it didn't hit an iceberg
What's the significants of the Max. Can it fly longer distances
what is the purpose of tying a balloon in the tip of the vertical stabilizer?
Wow !! That air craft was up in no time !! Wow !!
Explain the things on the end of the wings. Why one down as well as one up?
They help reduce drag, increasing the fuel economy.
WOW! Great job Boeing, I really love what you did with the 737 MAX looks beautiful! Cant wait for the 777X to take its 1st flight aswell ;)
i want see the cockpit. congratulations boeing!!!
When's the first one going to be delivered to southwest
Could someone please explain the new features? The split winglet, the hemisphere on the fuselage, the small chute on the tail... Doesn't it add up to drag? The chute I mean...
The drogue is only on the flight test airplanes. The split winglets, newer engines and wider fuselage are the main features.
+Nathan Chetram The SATCOM antenna was an option for all 737s.
What is on the paper sign taped inside the door that you have blurred out?
Beautiful Aircraft First Flight!!It is a better aircraft then the A320neo.
yeah Plus its faster than A320
Yea it is more fuel efficiency.
What is a lot of way of the A320neo be a good aircraft?
Whats the difference?
I only see Deadliner engines and different winglets
Wider fuselage as well. The plane is much quieter, more fuel efficient, and has better emissions.
I wonder how much extra fuel burn does the top antenna cost.
0.01 cent
what do they mean by the first airplane of its second century?
does anyone know any information of the back ground music?
Super smooth landing!
congratulations boeing
...imagine a new 727 with one of those massive engines in its tail!
thats a inefficient fuel consumption
Does it talk to the tower for you?
this cone thing hanging from the tip of the rudder, what it's for?
Damn, that's an attractive plane.
Whats trailing from the vertical stabilizer?
congratulations boeing hope see a lot of it in skies at 2017
and hope be a passenger in this little blue bird
If I worked at airbus and I saw this I would be scared because how amazing and beautiful this aircraft is :)
I've been waiting for this for years! Can't wait to hear (or not hear it) pass over my house!
I don't understand why Boeing won't stretch B737-9MAX to 44 or 46 meter to replace B757-200 and compete with the currently winning A321NEO?
Its such a beautiful plane! Can't wait for the day I fly in one!
It is one beautiful flying machine, hands down.
whats that little parachute for?
can you build a new model of the Boeing 727 tri engine plane
+Boeing 1. whoa!
2. What airlines use this plane?
Many, check it on boeing.com
Oh what a great plane!
This took forever to come and now it's finally here but then the problem is most airlines replaced there old b737s with a320neos I bet that's what happens when stuff comes out abit late
But the 737MAX is better in every way. Noise, fuel economy, carbon emissions etc.
Where are the engines made ?
Good Lord Boeing makes beautiful looking aircraft!!
Anybody knows what is the little cone attached at the top of the vertical stabilizer?
Nice! Congrats Boeing, I drive by the Renton plant every now and then, hope I can work there someday after the Navy.
Those are some serious winglets... Awesome job by all employees and their families :D
Copied the winglets from Airbus?!
Congratulations, to all of the Boeing Team. 😊 Wow.
• Cheers from The Detroit & Mackinac Railway 🚂
YYYYYEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSS. If I could fly any aircraft for the rest of my life I would choose the 737 max. I hope that every airline that has purchased this wondercraft will enjoy it. I know I would.
What's that flying thing connected to the tail?
I saw you boeing 737 MAX yesterday I saw like about 1 2 or 3
In Seattle?
no in reagan national airport in DC
Ricer467 That is not possible, the 737MAX has not been entirely certified yet, so it could not be in commercial service yet.
well it looked like a max it must of been one of the older ones
i see in Wiki is 4
That is quite a big crowd just to watch a 737 fly.
A brand new and incredibly revolutionary 737.
what's the hump on the back?
A part of me just wants to go up to the split winglet and push it together haha
