- On Saturday, January 25, 2020, the 777X took off at Paine Field in Everett, Washington, at 10:09 a.m. local time. During the three hour, 51 minute flight over Washington state, 777/777X Chief Pilot Van Chaney and Boeing Chief Pilot Craig Bomben worked through a detailed test plan to begin exercising the airplane's systems and structures while the test team in Seattle monitored the data in real time.
The newest member of Boeing's market-leading widebody family, the #777X will deliver 10 percent lower fuel use and emissions and 10 percent lower operating costs than the competition through advanced aerodynamics, the latest generation carbon-fiber composite wing and the most advanced commercial engine ever built, GE Aviation's GE9X.

Company became so transparent recently showing us their low quality products from the basic planes to space equipment.
No quality there at all from my perspective. Not in the products, nor in the work ethics in my opinion.
I am not gonna trust them with my life while boarding their aircrafts.
*I am not gonna leave my life in their hands for a loooong time or ever again. I am not gonna board Boeing aircraft for many many years*

This is not the same company like years back. Issues everywhere: software, small parts, main components etc. (Google it, I am not gonna repeat it here).

no, that is a feature of the Boeing 777, it is like a stepping effect, the back 4 wheels always lift up before rotation

which shouldn't really happen, because thats why the 737 Max needed MCAS in the first place, lets just hope it happened only because place had very little load to carry.

I also hate then corporations try to cover their tracks because they're more concerned about bad PR and a dip in their share price instead of being accountable for their mistakes.

Pablo Herasme doesnt matter what their history was before the Max, that was a different generation of folks running the company. It is always what you do today that matters. And the lying and deceit they went through to cover up issues and the lack of communication to airline companies and the hundreds of people they murdered will cause most people to think twice every time they step on a Boeing plane.
The 777X is one of the most beautiful aircraft to look at, and it's so graceful in the air.

I was there at the Historic Flight Foundation towards the 34L end of the runway, and we got 10 minutes of listening to those GE9Xs idling on the taxiway. It was AWESOME!

This is for test purpose.
Reduce potential point of failure on first flight. Stuck landing gear is guaranteed write off and no one want it happen to the first plane of the type built. After all even with good engineering no engineer can 100% guarantee nothing will go wrong.

Delta One, I was out near medical lake at my moms house and it flew over on its way to the airport, showing it’s large 777X graphics underneath the plane. Also my big brother works at Boeing.

even if they get the 737 Max back in the air, who would honestly feel comfortable flying on it. They are not taking into account public opinion and also what are the effects for all the planes that have been grounded and have been sitting for over a year now. I remember watching a flight channel episode where a plane was grounded for a month and wasps made a nest inside a sensor and caused the entire plane to crash.
I will never board MAX plane ever again in my life.

well if you're talking about the 747 fleet, they're are almost being retired unilaterally by all major airlines. So this what you're looking at is gonna be the replacement for long haul journeys.

Yes it has a great reputation. One of the safiest, Well built aircraft in the world. That's the Legacy it has to keep. (Boeing 777 had an amazing safety record and was one of the Well built ones too, i guess.)
