So when putting axel back does it just slide in or do u need to turn opposite qheel to turn to realign etc About to my rear bearings for 1st time. Any advice appreciated
Have you though about running the rear bearings in oil. Check out the MadMatt4wd video on it. You use the terrain tamer cassette seal and leave out the axle seal. Bearings last a lot longer. Could do the same on bullets with the 80 diff.
Hi Mate, Is it true that if the G Box isn't put in 4wd before the axles are removed( toyota bearing regrease), the locker dog can fall out and cause you to have no locker? Trying to trouble shoot my 2020 76 locker not engaging. will pull the cover off to check for water in the meantime. cheers
Locker will only engage in 4L, I don't think there is space behind the fork for the dog to fall in, if you take the plate with the switch out you can see if the dog isn't there, but most likely to be water damage to the locker motor mech...
Hey mate , just after some advice , I’m putting the terrain tamer 5/700 parabolics on and want to know if you had to add / change anything to use the high clearance plates ? Did you need a different length rear shock ? Thanks Craig
Yes Craig, I used a different shock and I had to grind the side of the high clearance plate to make some clearance for pack, and a u bolt that has a lot of tread.... Good choice on the leaves....I love mine
@@MlCKTITS happy to take a look at it for you if you want, if I can’t fix it, costs you nothing. The actuator assembly is $$$ from Toyota. I think the part number is still 41450-60042.

@@michaelgibson9982 just turn end where flange is to align dowels and it will find spline
You shouldn’t need to turn opposite side
Cheers
