Ive gone from a Dacia Duster to a Vitara 2 years ago. The Vitara is far superior. It does cost a bit more but you do get a lot more car. I have the SZ5 mild hybrid, manual in Solar Yellow. Its been excellent. No issues at all in 2 years. My Duster went back to the garage 4 times with different faults. The Suzuki is much more refined, a lot better than i thought it would be. I got mine used for £18700 at 18 months old and 14000 miles on the clock. Another reason i love it is because its one of the only small SUV's on the market that was designed to be an SUV. Almost all over SUV's are based on superminis (Duster-Clio, Puma-Fiesta, T-Cross-Polo, Captur-Clio and so on so forth).
Love this car. Looks clean, competent and reliable. All you need in a car. Great video as always. You gave useful information through out the drive. Keep it up. 👍🏼
For this price this car is fantastic.
I understand you don't want to express preference over a car, but it would help if you could at least compare features e.g. cabin noise and steering wheel feeling at high speeds, gearbox, driving position, pedals responsiveness etc

Actually in S-Cross Suzuki used this ADAS system for the first time. I recently bought an S-Cross and has it. It's very helpful on the long journey.

I like Suzuki, in this case they have patched the car so that it could continue to sell (at a higher price obviously) as many other manufacturers are doing.
It should be the buyer who controls the market and not the manufacturers.
What is that thing in the dashboard between the two center ventilation outputs? It used to be an ugly analog clock. Is that a camera?
It is an sensor to read face and eyes for safety features

The only difference is new infotainment system. Everything else is the same. Time for a completely new version with modern interrior.
Also sound insulation is non existent. I own 2023 full hybrid. Had to do doors, roof, boot sound ans vibration insulation and changed speakers.
Other then that - super reliable and very Japanese :)

I owned a 2023 sz5. It was reliable. And was fun to drive. But the quality of the car isn’t great. Also the dealer network in the UK was so so. Some good many not so good. If you complain to top management they don’t want to know. I think you have to balance all this out when buying. I now own a Toyota which is much better but costs more. I like your videos but I get the impression you don’t want to be too critical about the cars in case you upset the dealers / manufacturers. I also think this ‘facelift’ is not as nice at the front at least as the previous version. It’s like they’ve ruined it. I like the spoiler at the back this looks better than before.
I have to admitt that for its price is a very impresive car especially the 4 wheel drive...In the highway test i was not impressed about the cars consumption because when you drive a long distance you probably drive faster than 100kilometers in order to reach in logical time in your destination,And at this point we have a consumption of 7 to 8 liters and noise from outside.But i will have to ask you if you had these 26.000 euros what would you prefer to spend them in a new 4x4 vitara or a second hand 4x4 diesel 1.7 qasqai?

Practical no feelings comparison between this and the 2024 duster: - none of the cars have a valid ncap test. Suzuki seems to ditch these tests lately. Dacia at least even when they don't score great still sends their cars for testing and I believe they will test the new duster as well.
- on paper the entry level Vitara is better then the Duster on the engine provided. More power and better acceleration.
- interior and exterior design is way better on the new Duster. Vitara looks so 2015.
- Space is better on the Duster. Probably Vitara drives better unless you go for the Hybrid Duster that is more expensive than Vitara. Hard choice to make. MG fun boys should hold their horses because Dacia or Suzuki are much more reliable. Check it yourself, go on used cars websites and check for over 100000 miles cars and see how many MG you find.

Sincer, interiorul acestui suzuki pare antic. Cati alti productatori inca mai au betisorul ca sa resetezi consumul ? Vrei o masina sa te tina, dar sa te simti si bine la volan.
@@PaprikaPirukas Ma gândeam între un Clio pachetul Techno Full Hybrid sau un Duster pe GPL, dar ma atrage mai mult Dusterul intrucat fac mai mulți km în extra-urban și este mai sigură masina din punct de vedere al siguranței, daca as locui in București/Cluj sau alte orașe cu trafic mare probabil as opta pentru Clio

I have a 2007 2.0 luxury edition Grand Vitara in perfect condition and I feel I have a better car than this one is. This is like a toy for kids next to the 2007 one. And also it seems to me they nowadays give you less car for the same money. In brief, it seems to me over the last decade car builders have gone to a less value for money standards. I guesss the political decisions made in the EU and USA about switching car industry to electric technology has meant bigger I&D expenses for the car builders and this has forced them to reduce the amount of car they can serve for the clients money. I recommend to buy a good car from early 2000s at the second hand market in good condition than to buy the "same" car in a new version. You will get a better car for much less money.

I don't agree. Despite its age it still looks very good and better than some newer rivals. Better looking than a VW T-Cross for example.

@@jdmguy44 lumbar support, electric seat at least for the driver, steering wheel heating, high beam assistant, LED interior lighting, turn signals with bulbs, automatic transmission unavailable, etc. Should I continue?
