A lot of the materials can be found at your local dollar store, grocery store, or family dollar. Have you used any other subjects from that company? Specifically chemistry and earth science?
The Learning Ladder Will you be using it again? A few years ago we used Biology for the Grammar Stage and Logic Stage and Intro to Science. This year my teen taught Intro to Science at our homeschool co-op to 3-7 year olds.
@@denisejohnson4037 I personally haven't used their chemistry. I have used their Earth science though. We enjoyed it and felt it had everything we needed.
Thank you for the flip through of this curriculum. I'm planning to start this with my son, though I don't think we will go into so much detail right now since he's just in first grade. This curriculum seems like a good fit for us and your video has been very helpful.
We loved Elemental Science Biology this past year! My girls loved it. The Preschooler loved tagging along with my First Grader, and surprisingly retained a lot. Definitely going to be doing Elemental Science Earth Science and Astronomy for Second Grade and Kindergarten. Great flip through here!
Can I ask what you ended up doing? We are new to homeschooling this year and have a 2nd and 5th grader. Its hard to find secular options that I can use with both of them. Our younger son struggles and our older son is quite advanced. Thanks for any advice.
Hi Amie. I actually haven't been really using this, though I had good intentions. Science kind of fell through this year. LOL However, I have already used this a few years ago, and know that I love it.
The author is Christian but it’s not a Christian curriculum. However, there’s nothing sketchy with it. Some secular homeschoolers say it’s too Christian. Lol. It does use some Usborne books and with Usborne in general you have to be careful because it talks about evolutions I don’t remember in this particular course but just Usborne in general.
The author is Christian but the curriculum isn’t necessarily Christian. Some people say it’s too Christian to be secular and too secular to be Christian, kind of like Story of the World.
super helpful, thanks!
You're welcome!

We have a few weeks left of this program and can't recommend it enough. Great flip through.

@@EducationalRoots what a great experience for her. We have used Elemental Science from the beginning too. We really enjoy it.
The Learning Ladder That’s great!
What about their chemistry and earth science?

I’m still searching for science for next school year. This one is on my list! Looks like it’s very thorough.
It is a great curriculum and company.
Thank you for this video! It was very helpful.
You’re welcome!
Can't wait to use elemental science with my oldest!! We will be doing biology as well, but for the logic stage!
Diary of a Homeschool Mama The Logic Stage is really good too!
This was so helpful!
I’m so glad!

Rubina Ansari I’m so glad it was helpful! You can definitely slim it down or beef it up however you like. I hope you enjoy it!

Lizard Chase My now 13 year old used it years ago with a co-op. I knew I liked it then, and am excited to use it again!
I’m considering this for next year, but I can’t decide whether to do the grammar or logic stage! I would be combining my 4th and 5th grader!
I have the Logic Stage too. Do you want me to do a video?
If you have the time, I would love that! Thanks! 😃

This is so helpful thank you! How it is going now that you've been using it for several months? Thanks!

We use elemental science too!
B. F. Which one are you using?
YMO Homeschool We finished Chemistry for the Grammar Stage this year and doing Physics this coming year.
B. F. FUN!
Anyone use Elemental Science for high school?
I haven’t. I did use it in middle school though.
Is this a Christian science? If it isn't is there anything sketchy?
