@@lilbill7385 To be fair to LJN, a lot of their games used outsourced programming, a few were considered good, and some such as Pictionary had great music.
I loved this game as a little kid. This one,Tiny Toons, Ducktales, Metroid... all great games. Other games like Battletoads, Castlevania, Contra, Mega Man... were great games too but they were absolute merciless. Their difficulty made them super frustrating to play but this one had that fun factor that made it great.
Capcom's second sound engine debuted with this game. It replaced the one that debuted in "Commando" in 1986, and would be used until "Code Name: Viper". This one would be used until "Mega Man 6" in 1993.
This was a gift for my sixth birthday. I liked the show even though I wasn’t a huge fan of it but even at that young age I knew the Capcom label on a box meant it was a qualify game.
I remember watching Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers, DuckTales, Darkwing Duck, TaleSpin and Goof Troop, all of which were part of The Disney Afternoon, on Louisville’s WDRB and WBNA.
One of my favorite childhood games! This is amazing! Thanks to the channel for retro nostalgia, for childhood and better days, - you are the best guys!
My brother and I rented the game one weekend and had fun playing it together. It wasn't too hard, we managed to beat it together, but it was still great. The show still remains one of my favorite cartoons to this day.
Played a little bit of this game. But I played the sequel and watched the cartoon a lot. Still remember how the boss theme of the sequel goes. Doo - doo doo doo - doo - doo - doo dooooo... DOO DOO DOO - DOO DOO - DOO DOO DOO - DOO DOO - DOO DOO DOO - DOO DOO.
This game is simply a breath of fresh air. When I want to have fun but not play too intense of a game, I pop this masterpiece in and let the good times roll. Also, the soundtrack is amazing.
Chip and Dale was definitely one of the big names of the early '90s. I'm very skeptical about the upcoming movie. Watching the trailer is just like seeing the cast for the now delayed Mario movie from that infamous Nintendo Direct several months back. It is just *so* ridiculous.
Played this game as a kid. I’d have to Admit, had problems with the Boss in Zone I & plus FAT CAT. Once I’d study his patterns, it was ok from there on out. Played the sequel too. Hope that’s next.
@@holidayinn4293 What's frustrating is that DuckTales 1 & 2, Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers 1 & 2, TaleSpin, and Darkwing Duck for the NES were re-released as The Disney Afternoon Collection for the PS4 and Xbox One, but the collection isn't available on the Switch.
@@holidayinn4293 see what the comment before this one said. That is the collection I was referring to. It was released a month after the switch was released, so they definitely could've had it by year 's end for the switch, would've sold the best on the switch...
I LOVED this game as a kid... on two-player. Revisiting it later on in life with the rise of emulators was about as depressing as finding out Gadget got pregnant with flies.
When I was in high school, a friend of mine owned this and Ducktales, I thought both were standard kids fare in those days. Yeah we'd play Chip and Dale, but I still didn't think much of it, though it was fun. Grown up me has a different opinion on this, it's sequel, and both Ducktales games, long added them to my collection, because I find all 4 games quite solid as platformers, though this game (and it's sequel) will make you really angry with friends real quick due to the fact they can kill you by complete accident by scrolling you off the screen if they are moving too fast.
This is one of those poorly implemented shovelware titles when everything was being given a NES game spinoff. I remember how unintuitive interacting with the environment felt, with no clear delineation between background and foreground elements, objects you can collide with and so on.
@NintendoComplete First of all, good afternoon, I introduce myself as a small musician of remixes of retro video game songs, I wanted to tell you that without thinking, I took one of your gameplays from the game megaman 2, obviously I put your channel in the title and recommendation in the description of the video, I wanted to ask you if it bothers you in any way to download the video or if you allow me to continue using it, in fact I do not generate or plan to generate any profit with my remixes, I do them with the desire to help the streamer community so that they have music without copy, and if at any time I get to have profits from what I do, obviously I will provide you with a percentage, I apologize for taking that video without permission, I only did it so that the video would look more dynamic, thank you very much for your attention.
Chi-Chi-Chi-Chip and Dale - Rescue Rangers!! Such a classic show. Love or hate the movie coming out, I still wanna give it a try. All of Capcom's Disney games were great. These are from the makers of Mega Man, and it definitely shows. Excellent soundtrack as well, it's so lively and perfectly captures the feel of 90s Disney cartoons and the super-fun 2-player action!
Such a fun era when practically every tv show got an NES adaptation.
Including how chip and dale are having a new movie.
Unless it was by Ljn
@@lilbill7385 To be fair to LJN, a lot of their games used outsourced programming, a few were considered good, and some such as Pictionary had great music.
Every cartoon
Thank God for the Disney Afternoon Block! But I gotta wonder why Konami didn't get in on this too?

If a game based on a TV or movie franchise was developed from Capcom or Konami during this era, you knew it would be a good game!

The music for Stage J is one of the 8 bit era’s greatest masterpieces. It’s everything you could want in a final stage theme.
Stages A, C & E was always my favorite song in the game. (3:59)
Final stages of NES games usually have great soundtrack!
@@hieioni3354 Especially if that music is made by Capcom! 😤
@@edwardgaines6561 By old* capcom, yes.
It's the best Megaman music to not actually be in a Megaman game.

I played this when I was 7!!! Such inspirations!!!
This presentation of Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers movie is brought to you by Nintendo
Now you’re playing with power!
This game reminds me of my Childhood.
Innocent and fun days 👍🏻
these early era Capcom games are so damn good.
I got to play the sequel. Man, the memories...
This game kicked so much ass it wasn't even funny.
Never beat this game because of this part 33:27

A good game. I have great memories of playing this game with my father on the NES.
Both parts are superb 😊 The music is difficult to forget.
I have a blast playing this game

Not enough platformers in the yeet-whatever-isn't-nailed-down subgenre.
A yeet-em-up, if you prefer.
Fr. They should bring back yeetable enemies/objects in future 2D Marios. Amongst other platformers...
Still own the cartridge of this one. Great game and great playthrough.
Just in time for the new movie, huh?
Played this game at my cousin's in canada many years ago. Now I have it on my PS4 with the Disney Afternoon Collection!
one of the best graphics and fun game back then.
I'm still surprised Capcom didn't bother to release this collection on the switch
I always wanted a remake of this game done in a similar way to DuckTales Remastered. This game is so underrated.
