@@RaffieFaffie The "Hakenkreuz" or swastika is a old religious symbol that was & still is mostly used in india. Hitler thought he is very creative when he borrows it & just turns it to the right. It symbolises luck when the hooks are pointing to the left lol.

Swastika is very deep in Germanic faith and culture. Ancient German tribes used swastika on their weapons and as symbol for sun worship.
A lot of people in ancient history used it, it's not that "germanic", it's just ancient and now it's "germanic" by being deeply linked to national socialism
It's also a very important symbol within Buddhism, referring to the footsteps of Buddha.
Swastikas are extremely prevalent among the vast majority of pre-history to written history cultures. From Ireland to India, extremely common amongst Indo-European cultures. Recent non-indo studies show the use of it as a representation of spinning constellation that aligns with a few animal breeding seasons.
TLDR: The Swastika as a symbol predates tribalism in Germany, super old symbol. Older than civilization.
It is funny how on every instance of Swastika being show some internet people start to typle like "actually anciet symbol" we know all that chill we are making jokes.
