Finally!
😃 Someone who shows how simple it can be by laying out on the table.
Thank you Fella !
Thank you Chris for making a clear and informative video of the wiring schematic.
Been looking for a simple video like this for 2 weeks! Thank you
perfect video to finally understand basic wiring...

Where are your fuses or cbs mate?
Thanks nicely done 😅
I am wiring a 6gang switch panel and would to know if I need a 6 fuse block and if so where in the circuit does it go? Thnx
Yes, you will need something to fuse the switches. Many modern switch panels will come with the fuses built into them as the one in this video does. The fuses must be wired into the positive side.
Thank you. How would I wire so that the panel is not always on. for example it turns off when ignition is not on.. maybe tap power from ignition switch?
What gauge wire do you recommend?
I did that still working any reason why?
Cause it's hooked up correctly
does your control panel have breakers or fuses in each switch ?
Hey Troy, we have a range of switch panels available, some with 1 fuse per switch. Here's a full list: www.burnsco.co.nz/searchresults.aspx?q=switch%20panel
Cheers

Hi Sam, it's a Bluefin 600 Profish - www.sportcraftboats.co.nz/index.php?mact=V8,cntnt01,viewstock,1&cntnt01make=bluefin&cntnt01category=new&cntnt01view_type=&cntnt01order_by=price&cntnt01order_dir=asc&cntnt01offset=4&cntnt01returnid=101&page=101
do these panels work for 24v as well?
Hi t4796, No these particular panels are for 12V only. We can get 24V panels for you. Please contact your nearest Burnsco branch. www.burnsco.co.nz/stores.aspx
Hi, if I'm only connecting my battery to the switch panel, do I need two busbars or can I just have the one for the negative wire?
You can connect a positive from the battery straight to the switch panel and just use a bus bar for the negative battery wire and negative device wires.
What about fuses?
Hi I SSMDad, the panel used in the video has the fuses built in. There is one for each switch and they are accessible from the front. You can get them from here www.burnsco.co.nz/switch-panel-6-way-connex4
Danger! If you wire it as shown with no fuse or circuit breaker at the battery end of the cable you are risking a fire on your boat. There are fuses in the switch panel, but these are useless if something shorts out the cable between the battery and switch. No wonder there are so many boat fires if people are promoting this as a safe circuit.
10 cm gap, this isnt 12000 volts is 12 lmfao
