This collection looks good on-model and in the look book. Upon closer inspection, however, I am super disappointed by the heavy use of synthetics. A designer collaboration with heavy use of synthetics just doesn’t make sense to me. I’d be willing to pay a little more for much better quality natural materials and Uniqlo construction. It’s a pass for me on the majority of this collection. What a disappointment.
For outer wear I'm not too bothered about the material because I won't be making skin to skin contact with it. However for tops, generally I would prefer higher percentage of natural material. Adding in polycotton is often good because it helps prevent shrinkage in material, and adds structure to the garment.
That’s why you need to pay attention to the women’s section at uniqlo, their women’s collections are ALWAYS better quality and better fitting than the men’s stuff. On top of just having more options than the men’s section.
More and more uniqlo products are in synthetic materials. Gone are the days you can find 100% wool trouser or jacket. Reason is simple, Uniqlo need to make more money for Shareholder, store expansion & global purchase power are now slowing down, so cutting the material cost is the only way to go.
oh wow! Idk how this ended up on my feed but I watched it and only then glanced at your subscriber count and then went "oh! wow!" I would have thought you had many more subs. quality was great. wishing you best of luck with future videos. nice video
Sometimes synthetics is necessary to cut down cost and also helps with giving the garment structure. But I think anything more than 50% I need to really consider how the material feels before I comit to purchasing it!
@@kevinauyeung8 no synthetics literally destroy your testosrone its a fact . how dare you try to defend synthetic fibers wtf is wrong with you man . next your going to say we should eat processed food too
I agree. i used to not care that much about it but now in my 30s and having eczema, natural fabrics are what I am after. They help me not sweat as much and not rub as much on the akin. Although i notice some of my clothes pill easier. Those rough patches on cotton where fabric breaks, those still make my eczema flare. Maybe i’ll find the blend that’s better for eczema.
My countries will get this in mid Sept and we wont have the wool blend coat and the hooded coat, but we have a sneakers from Uniqlo C. In black or white and both will have suede on the front and the back.

I think the polyfiber used by Uniqlo is decent in quality compared to other brands. A lot of people are diehard airsim fan (I’m personally not massive on it), but I think they’ve proven the quality through its popularity. For outerwear I’m fine with high plastic as long as it’s durable and great silhouette.
I get you, I think the design from this collection is an attempt to set some staple pieces, like the Uniqlo U Tee and Airsim Tee. Gonna be interesting trying the pieces, I think they will be good base pieces to compliment statement pieces.
Oh shit...I hope you have the scarfs, cuz I love the size on them. Just wish it was less acrylic. (haven't started the video yet) The hoodie looks extra oversized so I'll be checking that out as wel.
I think there are some great scarfs from acne studios that are similar in design and better material. But the hoodie, I’m interested to see what the inside is going to feel like!!
@@kevinauyeung8 Acne do make some nice ones, but dropping 240-300 dollars on a scarf is something I cant justify. Since I only wear it for a few months out of the year. The boots do look fairly cheap to me. I'm a boot snob and I expect goodyear welt and things like a vibrum sole. It's $50 though so it kind of makes sense that they wont be great. I'm in a similar boat as you, i'm a 44.5 in shoes so find it odd that 43 is the cap. Especially since the average shoe size in Europe is 42-44. I'm only 5"9 but I can be a 45 in some shoes. The syntetics maybe needed for the silhouette

What time is the release
Should drop tomorrow when stores open/morning on website. I don’t think you’ll need to rush as there should be plenty of stock
Love it my man!!
Thanks Mr. Kahn!
Hi, do you know if there’s all the collection? I saw other trousers but maybe from the women’s collection.
The women’s collection has a wider range of products. I’m looking at the wide pleaded trousers and jacket on the womenswear.
Hey bro where'd you get your glasses and what's the name of the model?
They are from rayban. Not sure on the model, but I know cubitts do a similar design.
Very clean looks
keep up youre good content
Thanks so much!

How did you attach the mic to your tshirt?
It’s got a magnet on the inside lol
Can't wait for the double face coat. Going to go for the brown since I don't have any.
they got a brown and a pattern version as well which I didn't mention in the video!
Hoodie and trousers got my attention as well.
Trousers look really good for me. I'm hoping the hoodie will have better inner lining!
That was good. Thanks mate.
Glad you enjoyed it
Anyone know if the hooded coat is waterproof?😊
Yeah it’s designed to be a rain coat type of outer coat 😀
The chelsea boots aren't even coming to my country :(
That’s a shame. I think other brands do something similar anyway!
