From a colour and fit perspective, of course it's subjective. But in terms of quality, A&F and Hollister are both factual worse than Uniqlo. Check out Shift Fashion group's youtube video, they do a break down of fabric and cuts from each brand. Uniqlo is one of the best yet at a low cost, A&F is one os the worst.

@ yeah I totally disagree, Uniqlo has yet to show me a product that makes it through a wash without turning to pure garbage…this includes but is not limited to t shirts (probably the worst in the industry outside of h&m), polos that are like cardboard, hoodies that shrink terribly, jackets that feel cheap…it’s just what ppl hype but they don’t bring the quality and are now way overpriced

@ for example, you can buy a Hollister cooling teeshirt for $5 which is at least the same quality as the airism t shirts at a fraction of the price but also are cut in much better silhouettes…the af pop over hoodie holds up, unlike any Uniqlo sweatshirt I’ve ever owned

IMO some will restock. But the wide pants and jeans are taken off the site, usually when they do that it’s not coming back.

@@kevinauyeung8 I guess I get what you mean, I have Uniqlo U 5 panel flat brim cap from ss2023 and brim is wide as f. But since brim is flat not much you can do besides wearing it backwards. And that's exactly what I'm doing

Yeah the women’s got a lot of cropped pieces which is obviously trendy right now. It’s a bit too short length for me. They had the cropped oxford and crewneck but it was just really short, my belly button was showing if I just walked. TBH, so does the women’s rugby shirt 😅

In the Manchester store they only had the womens oxford shirt, crew neck and trousers. I'm quite top heavy and they were a bit too short, my thick neck was too tight once i managed to fit my massive head through the neckhold. My jiujitsu is affecting my fashion pickups! lol

Uniqlo’s Jwa series were always like this type of preppy style looks but this season is indeed boring

I think the quality control might be hit and miss. Some get lucky and some don’t! TBH, I’ve still got some pieces from primark from over 10 years ago! Sometimes they just last even if others don’t experience the same

for sure, I'm super disappointed about the tees, but the denim material is pretty thick so should last.

The thing I hate most about Zara is the wash tag, they always make it out of plastic and it's SUPER uncomfortable.

@@kevinauyeung8 my main problem ist that zara looks tuff by the styling and by the looks, but when you get your product the quality feels and looks so cheap, especially the denims.

Even though Uniqlo is "fast fashion" I find them to be completely different, unlike other fast fashion brands, they don't make loads of different trendy items. They make they staples, do collab drops and keep things simple. Which I really like!

Thanks for the recommendation. The cropped tees aren't really that suitable for me for me, the quality for the jeans is pretty good, but yeah tops are questionable.

@@kevinauyeung8 Yeah, especially shirts that have been treated to be soft. A few washes and they are terrible.
