What do you think about the lugs? Does it bother you at all? I wanna get the silver non chrono 40mm If i have a 5 inch width wrist, the smaller one is the better size right?
@@ajilano7753 The lugs are curved so it`s sits very nice and comfortable on my wrist. I have a 7,6 inch wrist so 40 mm usually feel small, but the Longines have a good presence
The Hydroconquest's dial just looks too bare to me. The hour markers need to be bigger or set further towards the centre of the dial in my opinion. I really *want* to like that watch.
In fact I think they got it right with the previous line. Then everyone kept saying the dial was too busy (which it wasn't, except in pictures), and now that Longines has listened it's too bare.
I compared the MK1 with the MK2 in my AD.... and chose the MK1 partly because the MK 2 dial is very empty. Longines still sell the MK1 which does look the better watch when you see them both side by side in person
Longines releases this year are just spot on !

Longines Spirit 40mm, Military Marine Nationale and Heritage sector dial are absolutely stunning watches! Fantastic bang for buck.

The date position is so far into the dial of the Longines Spirit, it's literally begging for a smaller case size.

Love the Marina, but I dislike the long lug to lug distance, that makes it a no-go for me, unfortunately. In fact, most Longines has the same issue.

I don’t think the original one was meant to dive. Made for the MN, but not for diving.
