I love the ranting! It's 100% on point, you're trying to help people, and the ones offering mean or nasty comments-go start your own channel! I for one appreciate you taking the time to show me something I may not know, and if I do something different, I like seeing how others do things. We all have to relax, it's not that serious. Okay, I’m loving you right now! Sometimes you just gotta clear the air. LOL. I bought a ton of CrystaLac products for tumblers, but I realized pretty quick that I don’t have time to use it properly. I do actually love the products for finishing wood and mixing custom paint colors. It just isn’t my favorite for tumblers. Thank you so much for making your videos. I know it takes a lot of work to make each one, and I promise that you handled the “Karens” much better than I would have. ❤️

I'm interested in the safety process of drinkable products. Also, the safety of doing epoxy-like products in my home. I currently don't have an area to do them otherwise. And lastly, which ones are most safe (and best) to use.

I’m total newbie to this craft. I’m a sewer and a porcelain doll maker.. I started watching videos on how to do this, and I’m I was ready to run for the hills. Lol I thought it was allot work painting dolls but applying all these layers seem like too much work. I was going to make tumblers for a team but I got to rethink this. Love the videos. I like how you get right to it.

I'm new to tumblers & well crafting in general lol and I found you a few weeks ago and am hooked. I love your tutorials & simplicity of being able to understand what you are doing. Being a newbie (as my youngest would say) I even knew the difference between the products etc lol. I love your PSA & your honesty, please keep being you because that's what most of us love :)
Oh and how is the Triple Thick holding up since you did this video please? I am using Triple thick on a few things because I'm finding once it cures at least 2 weeks it's not tacky & water resistant

i just have these cups on display in my studio so i havent been actively drinking out of them but they look fine lol
@@PeriodSixDesigns ahh makes sense lol I'm working on my first glitter cup & well um definitely messed up my glitter application :/ I was able to sand it a bit, with the Triple thick, but definitely something that needs to be done after the first layer & not the second lol. I'm not too disappointed though because it's literally my first time playing with glitter so I figure gotta make a few mistakes along the way lol

I just stumbled upon this video. I have been a member but not working with epoxy recently. I guess I never considered negativity in the comments regarding a tutorial. If it does not help you, why continue. There are so many channels on this platform. Unless they are seeking an endorsement, no company should be trolling your page. Your experience is just that and should not require backlash. UUUGGGHHH! You better not leave me because these unusual individuals can’t process genuine information.

I appreciate your videos a lot of crafters don't make videos that are beginner friendly (they think they do but no!). Also, everyone cannot use epoxy. Some of us live in apartments or small spaces without great ventilation. I've asked many others for help. Your videos are the only ones showing alternatives. Other people skirt over my comments and say something ridiculous like I need ventilated spaces and move on. Like I literally asked for an alternative bc I don't have that. Smh. So THANK YOU! I have to say thank you for your video you cleared up a lot for me. I have done something I love these tumblers and I thought because I got a Cricut during the holiday ( great great sale yes it was) tumblers would be fun for us to do. Order the resin and machine now I realize you have to wear a hazard mask. MMMMM thank you!

You handled that very well. A lot better than I would've. Some people just aren't happy with what's going on in their lives and try to bring everyone around them down with them. I love your videos and learn so much from you and from the people in the comments. I just don't read the ones that are negative. I had the same issue with placing the vinyl on the Mod Podge. I had to press it in to the glitter to get it to stay. Which actually helped it look better in the long run. I was surprised to see how shiny it got after that last layer. That was actually pretty nice. I'm going to have to try that Triple Thick out. That looked really good too! Thanks for the video and sorry you had to deal with people like that.

First, I want to say I’m sorry people were being mean to you. There is never any call for that.
Here is a funny story. Because I’m impatient and Brite-Tone is too fussy (and expensive) I just bought some polyurethane from the hardware store, and found a company called Aqua Coat, and bought a product called Aqua-thane. (You can get 2oz samples for 6$ and free shipping). I used that stuff and my cup came out great. The moral of my story, if people are looking for alternatives, don’t give them a reason to look harder.

I had a textured cup I was trying to put vinyl on so I could bling it and I had to hit it with the heat gun to get it to stick. I probably won't be doing that again. 😂 I'm not sure why people feel the need to be rude but I learned a lot and think you did great.

Two, most people realize that you tubers share the information they're sharing out of the goodness of their hearts. For people to demand content in a particular video is ludicrous! Do a search if what you need isn't in a particular video! For Pete's sake, the concept isn't rocket science! And besides, as you stated....there's always Google!

Had to subscribe after the PSA, I listened to the first video and if others had did the same then you would not had to do a PSA accept for the FDA stuff, but like you said that's what Google and UA-cam is for. Agree just to many steps with Brite Tone and their products.

I’m trying to make a cup for my daughters friend and epoxy seems expensive/difficult because I’ve never done it so I was looking for a good alternative and this video was very very helpful! Awesome video! Being new this may sound silly but I need to know. After this process I wouldn't have to use epoxy and a Turner to spinner the cup. That's great because I don't have a spinner. Ty

Have you tried it? I think mine feels a bit 'gummy" but maybe the drying time has to be longer?... I've only done 2 coats
