Aww thanks so much 😊❤️ so sorry to hear about your allergic reaction with epoxy. Same thing happened to me. So when I got started all I purchased was brite tone. Til this day.. all I mostly use is brite tone. Everything else I use can be purchased at craft stores or even Walmart. Which you might already have if your coming from epoxy. To prep you will need sanding paper (220 or 400 grit) and something to base coat with. I usually use spray paint to base coat since it’s cheap and can buy it anywhere. The only thing with spray paint is that you will need to allow it to off gas (24-48 hours) before you add any brite tone to your cup. Crystalac sells other base coat options like universal white or black gloss & also the crafnique pigments that you can purchase but I use just spray paint. To glitter I now use brite tone. I just add a coat of brite tone and add my glitter. I use to use mod podge until I learned that modpodge needs extra dry time. Also lots of people have had issues with modpodge . Since it’s super thick and requires extra dry time, some people have had peeling because of it. I never had any issues when using it but I preferred to eliminate it from my cup process... just to avoid any issues. Crystalac also sells glitter glue now.. which I’ve heard great things about but haven’t got around to purchase it. Then I use e6000 spray to seal my glitter and flatten it. You can buy e6000 at any craft store or Walmart. If you do buy the glitter glue you can glitter with it and also seal your glitter with it so you won’t need the e6000 spray. And that’s pretty much it.. you coat with brite tone until it’s smooth. I hope this helps. Sorry if my reply is so long lol I was trying not to miss anything. I am really enjoying your vids! Learned a new tip about the parchment paper! Though using Brite-Tone is a longer method, it is healthier one! Thanks for your detailed tutorials! Looking forward to more!
Thank you for the video! You make it look so easy What’s the difference with Brite tone clear gloss and the Polyurethane extreme protection ? Do you use both when making your tumblers ? Thank you
Thanks so much. I use mostly brite tone. Brite tone is higher in solids so you can build up a gloss faster with it. The polyurethane is lower In Solids so I use it to glitter with or to start building my gloss . You can use just brite tone though. People just like to use both since the polyurethane is a bit cheaper 😊
Thank you for sharing. I do have a question tho. On this cup you glittered with modpodge and E6000 but on newer tutorials you do it with the bright tone. Is the modpodge not a good method for applying glitter? I recently started making tumblers and have been using bright tone but you end up going thru your supply pretty quickly. It seems modpodge would be cheaper to glitter tumblers… just use the bright tone at the end like in this video.
I actually have a video on my channel making a similar cup. The only difference is the glitter color (: ua-cam.com/video/38D4vVeHEZ0/v-deo.html here’s the link for it if you want to check it out!
I have a question. I made a tumbler step by step watching your video. It came out perfect but when I put it on the dishwasher all the Brite tone was off !!! Are they dishwasher safe or meant to be hand washed and air dried?
I currently use epoxy but im looking into switching. But I have a weird (maybe stupid) question. Can you use both products on a cup? For example, if I had a RTS cup (with epoxy) and someone wanted it personalized - do I have to use epoxy on its final coat or can I use crystalac as the final over epoxy
You can finish off a cup with Brite Tone. You just have to be sure that the epoxy is fully cured before adding brite tone. Epoxy also has a 30 day cure time. Once fully cured you can personalize and coat with Brite Tone with no issues. Hope this helps (:
Hi awesome video 🙏🏻 thank you. question so.. if I wanted to sell something like this I would have to wait 30 days for it to cure? Sorry if I'm wrong. And thanks in advance 💕

Hi!! I just stumbled upon your video. I am an epoxy user but this seems soooo much better because I can do my tumblers inside the house vs in my garage! LoL I was wondering can you use this on the plastic Starbucks tumblers to seal a decal only. On a tumbler with no glitter on it?
Yes it’s so convenient and safe to use indoors. Without the worry of exposing yourself or your family and pets to toxic & harmful chemicals. Yes you definitely can use it on Starbucks cups. I have videos on my channel sealing Starbucks cups with just vinyl decals . If you have any other questions don’t hesitate to ask 😊
Thank you so much for sharing! Can I ask you if you make your decals yourself? And if so would you mind sharing where you get your fonts from? Appreciate your videos I’ve learned so much from them!
You're very welcome! :) yes I make my decals myself using vinyl and a cutting machine. I usually get my fonts from dafont.com or 1001fonts.com. Hope this helps :)
I buy it directly from the company. The company is called the crystalac company. The top coat I use is brite tone. I have the link for it in the video description if you would like to check it out. It’s a non toxic water based top coat.
This is so gorgeous! Do you happen to know if it works in glass also? I am getting ready to order through your link but, just wondered about glass... TYSMFS! 💕
I’ve never seen anyone apply a decals with water other then a waterslide. Is there some thing special you use? How does it attach with water? Thank you for your input I’m new to this.
Nothing special. Just water. I like to add my permanent vinyl decals this way because it gives me room for error if i happen to place it a little off . When working with brite tone, you don’t won’t to lift a previous coat if you happen to place it wrong and lift it or even when pulling off your transfer tape. Once the water dries the vinyl becomes permanent again. I usually hit it with a blow dryer on cool to dry it once I place in desired spot.
what is the approximate amount of brite tone used on a cup? i am doing a cost analysis as i decide what to coat painted white tiles with. Time and cost need to be calculated accurately
Does it not stick to your hands the way epoxy does? Just curious since you weren't wearing gloves. Thank you for this video! I've been considering switching from epoxy and this was really informative (:
That would be great please. If you can. Do you let customer know it takes 30 days to cure so they are careful? After the 30 days once its cures what would be the recommended care instruction? Thanks in advance.
I always prep my cups before glittering & sealing. What I did was sand my stainless steel tumbler & then stray painted it white as a base coat. I then let the stray paint gas of for 48 hours before glittering. Prepping you cup is the most important step in cup making. I have a video on the prepping process of you would like to watch it (:
The wet method is basically adding your decal with water. It helps with placement. The decal becomes less sticky since its wet. Once dry, the decal will become permanent again. You can see me using the wet method in this video ua-cam.com/video/zbpiCZoNfDI/v-deo.html . The decal placements begins at 8:05 minutes in the video.. just incase you want to skip to that part. You can also watch me applying a full wrap vinyl on this cup using the wet method. ua-cam.com/video/9wjErEo2p6E/v-deo.html .. Hope this helps :)
Hi there! I have a question... I want to make cups and have “inventory” then give the customer the option to personalize it, do I have to make sure the cup is bought before it fully cures? Or can I go back in and apply the vinyl and seal with a few more coats! Thanks!😁
Hello 😊 so the cup is okay for use after 5-7 days . Just give your customer proper care instructions for it ( I can give you the care instructions if you need) So you can sell it after that time .. & then if someone wants to personalize it you can go back in.. add the name or personalization & then seal that. You can go back in and personalize it before the 5-7 days . You just want to make sure to let it sit for the 5-7 days before giving it to your customer 😊
Yes definitely 😊 I’ll add them below. Also if you message me on Instagram I can send you ready to print care cards. That’s what I wanted to ask also, I just wanted something to seal in the decal for sure Nvm I’m such a dummy lol she actually made a different video on it: ua-cam.com/video/Ae1cbgeiKwo/v-deo.html
Hope it helps ladies! 😊 Usually depends on how thick the vinyl is . Some are thicker than others . I usually just coat until I can no longer feel the decal.
Hello! In a previous video you mentioned that you don't add the brite tone all the way to the bottom of the starbucks cup because it lifts. How did you prevent that for this cup? Does it prevent lift if you add the brite tone at the bottom of your cup?
Yeah for Starbucks cups I prefer to not add it all the way to the bottom since the cup is plastic. This cup is stainless steel so you shouldn’t have that problem with lifting as long as you prep the cup correctly first 😊
Here’s an estimate on how many cups you can make per container. It’s just an estimate as some cups take more product than others. I pulled this off crystalacs Facebook group. 8oz container =6cups Pint container =12 cups Quart container = 24cups Gallon =95cups (best value)
Awesome video🙌🏼😃 very informative, thank you Melissa, keep up the great videos🙌🏼😁 I have question can you use Minwax Polycrylic Protective Finish Water Based, quart, Gloss for an alternative than Brite Tone?
My apologies for asking another question... for your prep method you used a white spray paint (under the glitter); can you use any color since its underneath or does it have to be white?
Hello & no worries (: so what i mean is that the cup continues to harden and cure for 30 days. After 5-7 days , the cup is okay for light use. I’ve used all my cups after 5 days & haven’t had any issues. Hope this helps (:
Hi! Love your tutorial. I’ve decided to make the switch from epoxy to crystalac and was just wondering can I still wear gloves when applying?? I tend to have like sweaty hands lol and I’m kinda scared to apply with my fingers
Hello .. I use bear hands.. that’s just my personal preference. You can wear gloves though. You just have to be sure the gloves fit well... if too loose, the coat will be streaky . When I started I did wear finger gloves . You can find them at Michaels and you just put it on one finger . I still use them sometimes. Hope this helps (:
Hello. You should add your decals once your cup is smooth enough. I usually do 5 coats before decals. I add three, sand, two more, than sand again... and then add the decals . Hope this helps 😊
hello..you can purchase Brite Tone from the CrystaLac Company. Here is the link for it thecrystalacstore.com/products/brite-tone-instrument-finish?sca_ref=375152.QTvR55nNmv . I also have the link for it in this videos description box. So Brite Tone is a clear gloss top coat. Since it's very high in solids, you can achieve a glossy finish in less coats. Polycrlic is very low in solids.. it won't build and will eventually yellow.
I wouldn’t recommend since lint will probably get all over your cup. The 3-4 hour dry time is recommended to ensure you cup is fully dried and no issues will come up when adding additional coats.
Deff don’t use a fan it will blow yucky stuff on your cup and in all honesty you want to give it the 3-4hrs to let it fully cure before adding another coat! I know this because The first time I used crystalac (brite tone) I didn’t let it dry long enough in between layers it may feel dry sooner but don’t be tempted it can cause your finish to 1. Peel off and 2. Because you didn’t let it cure completely between layers it will take many days to dry completely!
How long after you finish a cup do you ship it out; since it take about 30 days to fully cure? Also from the CrystaLac Tumbler Kit you only used the Brite Tone in the video along with the Mod Podge is that correct?
I wait 5-7 days to use it. Then it does take 30 days to fully cure. I only use brite tone from crystalac. That’s all. I used mod podge to apply glitter. Or you can also apply it with brite tone.
@@MelissaCrafter Thank you SOOO much for responding back! Your method seems so much easier. I just watched your priming video as well. I appreciate you taking the time make the videos as well as answer questions. :)
Thank you for your videos! They are really helpful, I’m just starting out with making tumblers. I’m using epoxy right now but I don’t like the mixing and fumes so I wanted to find an alternative. I see on the crystalac website that I can either order brite tone or the polyurethane. Which one should I purchase?
hello & thanks so much. I recommend Brite Tone. its higher in solids so you can build up a gloss faster with Brite Tone. I know a lot of people start of their cups with polyurethane and finish off with Brite Tone...which is also a good option to do since the polyurethane is a little less expensive. Hope this helps (: here's the link to both: Brite Tone: thecrystalacstore.com/products/brite-tone-instrument-finish?sca_ref=375152.QTvR55nNmv Polyurethane: thecrystalacstore.com/products/crystalac-waterbased-polyurethane-non-yellowing?sca_ref=375152.QTvR55nNmv
Melissa Crafter thank you so much! How many cups can you make out of a typical quart size of the brite tone? It seems like it’s a lot of layers but also very thin.
Yes layers are very thin and are applied in less than a minute. Here is a guide that I pulled off the company’s Facebook group that explains the container size along with the amount of cups you can achieve with each container size . Of course it also depends on what types of cups your making since some cups take more coats than others but this gives you an idea. 8oz container: 6 cups..cost per cup $3.67/cup Pint: 12 cups.. $2.92/cup Quart: 24 cups..$2.06/cup Gallon: 95 cups $1.33/cup (best value) Hope this helps (:
Sounds like maybe too much water. If this happens just pat it dry a little and don’t add as much water. You just want enough to where it doesn’t automatically stick 😊
After 5-7 days, the cups are okay for light use. After my last coat I hold the cup for 5-7 days and then ship it out. I first wrap the cup in parchment paper and then bubble wrap. I put it in a box and add proper care instructions that include a cure date.
Hello. After the second coat of e6000 and letting it dry overnight, my cup got stuck to the parchment paper 🤦🏻♀️. I tried getting it unstuck and ended up using an exacto knife to scrape off the paper. I noticed a little bit of the glitter lifted from the cup opening. Do I need to start over? Can I just add more e6000 or mod podge to get it to stick to the cup?
Did you leave the parchment paper on the cup overnight? The parchment paper is supposed to be used 30 minutes after spraying to flatten down the glitter. Only rolling the cup in parchment paper while using your hand to flatten glitter.
If your cup is streaky that means your coats are too thick and you are overworking your cup. this causes some parts of the cup to dry before others.. causing streaks. add a thin coat.. super quickly and walk away from the cup. it will self level on its own. The bubbles also come from thick coats. if the coat is too thick it will not dry properly.
Here’s an estimate on how many cups you can make per container. It’s just an estimate as some cups take more product than others. I pulled this off crystalacs Facebook group. 8oz container =6cups Pint container =12 cups Quart container = 24cups Gallon =95cups
Yes definitely! You can use brite tone from crystalac to glitter too. That’s now my go to method to glitter. In my more newer videos you can see me glittering with brite tone. Here’s a few of them 😊 ua-cam.com/video/EAoMLx2WHUQ/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/Du8mcCWBw2U/v-deo.html
Do you think I should use Brite Tone on a decal I placed on a coffee mug? I purchased the Brite Tone & have been wanting to try it since I watched one of your other videos but I haven't gotten to my plastic cups yet so I was wondering if you think I should seal the coffee mug decal & if so how many coats should I use? I appreciate you!
Yes you can definitely use on a coffee mug if you want extra protection on your decal! If it’s a single layer decal, 4-5 coats should be okay. You will be able to tell that your decal is fully sealed once you can no longer feel it when coating . Hope this helps (:
Melissa Crafter I am actually really excited for this because it allows me to work while my kids are up unlike epoxy where I can only work when they are sleeping.

What do you mean water method for the decal, its cut from the cricut and and you apply it with water. wont that make the decal not stick to the cup?
Once it dries it fully adheres & becomes permanent again. It doesn’t take away the stickiness
Hi,
What are the steps for a acrylic tumbler?
Which brute tone? There are several, I looked on your Amazon list o didn’t see it. Thank u! Pretty cup!!
It’s the brite tone gloss. It’s not on my Amazon list. If you scroll down a bit In the video description it will say brite tone
@@MelissaCrafter I see ! Thank you very much
My cup peeled with brite tone I will try your method tysm
This seems so fun and easy to do
After using these can you hand wash??? I know no dishwasher.
Thanks for posting this video! Can’t wait to try it. When you let the cup spin for an hour, do you let it spin on the fastest setting?
You’re very welcome 😊 I usually put it somewhere in the middle. Not at the fastest.
Is the glitter supposed to look wet when I apply the first coat? Mine looks like the glitter absorbed the brite tone
Yes. The glitter absorbs most of the brite tone with the first coat.
How long should I wait to sell since it doesn't cure for 30 days?
i thought i could seal the glitter with modge pod then brite one over it will this work???? as i just did a can cup
I enjoyed the video. Which font did you use?
Will you share how you did the glitter on the Starbucks cup shown in the background of this video?
I actually have a video on my channel making a similar cup. The only difference is the glitter color (: ua-cam.com/video/38D4vVeHEZ0/v-deo.html here’s the link for it if you want to check it out!
So glad I came across this video . Thank you for sharing a safer alternative. New subscribers here😊👍🏽
I have a question. I made a tumbler step by step watching your video. It came out perfect but when I put it on the dishwasher all the Brite tone was off !!! Are they dishwasher safe or meant to be hand washed and air dried?
Hand wash only.
Does it have an odor?
I currently use epoxy but im looking into switching. But I have a weird (maybe stupid) question. Can you use both products on a cup? For example, if I had a RTS cup (with epoxy) and someone wanted it personalized - do I have to use epoxy on its final coat or can I use crystalac as the final over epoxy
You can finish off a cup with Brite Tone. You just have to be sure that the epoxy is fully cured before adding brite tone. Epoxy also has a 30 day cure time. Once fully cured you can personalize and coat with Brite Tone with no issues. Hope this helps (:
Where is the glitter from? This is beautiful!
Michaels 😊 it’s from recollections. It’s called rose gold
Hi awesome video 🙏🏻 thank you. question so.. if I wanted to sell something like this I would have to wait 30 days for it to cure? Sorry if I'm wrong. And thanks in advance 💕
Thank you ! :) No worries.. thats a great questions. After 5-7 days the cup is okay for use. After letting the cup sit for the 5-7 days you can ship it or give it to its new owner. Be sure to include care instructions with the cup so that your customer knows how to properly care for the cup. I can share my care instructions with you if you'd like :) my care instructions include a cure date for the cup.
Omg thank you for replying ❤️😊 I really appreciate it 🙏 Yes that would be awesome!❤️

Here’s an estimate depending on the container size. Hope this helps 😊
8oz 236ml =6cups

Quart 946ml = 24cups
Gallon 3,785 ml =95cups

Thanks for the video!! What brand and where do you get your top brite? Its not toxic right?
I buy it directly from the company. The company is called the crystalac company. The top coat I use is brite tone. I have the link for it in the video description if you would like to check it out. It’s a non toxic water based top coat.
This is so gorgeous! Do you happen to know if it works in glass also? I am getting ready to order through your link but, just wondered about glass...
TYSMFS! 💕
Thanks so much 😊 & yes ! Definitely works on glass !
I learned so much from this video. Thank you for sharing! I’m fixing to make the switch :)
Yay! I’m glad I was able to help 😊 let me know if you have any questions once you switch 😊
what is the approximate amount of brite tone used on a cup? i am doing a cost analysis as i decide what to coat painted white tiles with. Time and cost need to be calculated accurately
Is bright tone food safe? I would like to start using it too
I’d like to know too!
Does it not stick to your hands the way epoxy does? Just curious since you weren't wearing gloves. Thank you for this video! I've been considering switching from epoxy and this was really informative (:
You’re welcome 😊💙 it does not stick to my hands at all. It’s water based so after using i simply wash my hands & it’s off.
Thank you for the tutorial. Can you use chunky glitter using the same technique?
Yes you definitely can
Thank you for this helpful video. If it takes 30 days to cure, do i wait 30 days to send it to the customer?
You’re welcome! After 5-7 days the cups are okay for use. Of course following proper care instructions. I can share the care instructions if you need
That would be great please. If you can. Do you let customer know it takes 30 days to cure so they are careful? After the 30 days once its cures what would be the recommended care instruction? Thanks in advance.
Why is the tumbler white is there anything before you apply before the sealer or they just come like that .
What's the wet method? New to this.
Wow so it’s an all day process seems like uggh I didn’t know these take so much time and coats
How do you make your decals?
@@MelissaCrafter may i have the care instruction too please!

You’re welcome! I purchased it at Michaels. It’s from the spin it brand .
You’re welcome! I purchased it at Michaels. It’s from the spin it brand .
How do you know how much sanding it needs? It looks like you sanded for awhile what are the results we’re supposed to see after sanding?
Just a level sand. Sand the entire cup. Feel with your finger.. if a spot feels bumpy, sand that spot
How many layers should I do if I’m just doing a colored tumbler with no glitter and just a decal?
That’s what I wanted to ask also, I just wanted something to seal in the decal for sure
Nvm I’m such a dummy lol she actually made a different video on it: ua-cam.com/video/Ae1cbgeiKwo/v-deo.html
Hope it helps ladies! 😊 Usually depends on how thick the vinyl is . Some are thicker than others . I usually just coat until I can no longer feel the decal.
Do you brush off any loose glitter before you put the 2nd coat of modge Podge on?
Yes
This cup is stainless steel so you shouldn’t have that problem with lifting as long as you prep the cup correctly first 😊
How many tumblers do you think an 8oz tub would make?
Here’s an estimate on how many cups you can make per container. It’s just an estimate as some cups take more product than others. I pulled this off crystalacs Facebook group.
8oz container =6cups
Pint container =12 cups
Quart container = 24cups
Gallon =95cups (best value)
Awesome video🙌🏼😃 very informative, thank you Melissa, keep up the great videos🙌🏼😁
I have question can you use Minwax Polycrylic Protective Finish Water Based, quart, Gloss for an alternative than Brite Tone?
Thanks so much 🥰
I’ve never used the one you mentioned. But I read somewhere that it’s low in solids...so it takes a long time to build up a gloss.
Melissa Crafter you’re welcome😁. Oh okay, thank you😃.
My apologies for asking another question... for your prep method you used a white spray paint (under the glitter); can you use any color since its underneath or does it have to be white?
You can definitely use any color. Match it up with your glitter 😊
How did you transfer the brite tone into the condiment bottle?
I used a funnel . I got it for under $1 at Walmart. You can find it near the utensils section or near the car oil .
Have you ever used a different spray to seal the glitter??
You can also seal the glitter with clear spray paint but you would have to wait 24-48 hours for the spray paint to gas off
Hi omg I ask to much but when you say it doesn’t fully cure until 30 days does that mean you can use the cup at all ? Like drink out of it
Hello & no worries (: so what i mean is that the cup continues to harden and cure for 30 days.
Melissa Crafter it does, thank you so much for replying! :)
Do you brute tone the lip of the cup? Thank you 😊
I don’t . I do go all the way up but I avoid the rim .
Hi can you add the vinyl decals at any point or is there a certain amount of coats of the crystalac that is has to go over?
Hello. You should add your decals once your cup is smooth enough. I usually do 5 coats before decals. I add three, sand, two more, than sand again... and then add the decals . Hope this helps 😊
Hi, question where do you buy Brite tone ?? Is that polycrlic?? Are they the same thing?
hello..you can purchase Brite Tone from the CrystaLac Company.
Would putting a fan blowing on the cup help a lot with dry time? Tks
No sanding after you put the decal?
How long before the cup can be used?
Yes sand every 3 coats. After 5-7 days the cup is okay for light use. Of course following proper care instructions.
Can use modge Podge spray or any other spray sealer to seal the glitter and flatten the glitter. Or does it need to be e6000 spray?
Yes you can but with any solvent based spray there is a 48 hour gassing time you will need to wait.
Hope this helps (:
here's the link to both:
Brite Tone: thecrystalacstore.com/products/brite-tone-instrument-finish?sca_ref=375152.QTvR55nNmv
Polyurethane: thecrystalacstore.com/products/crystalac-waterbased-polyurethane-non-yellowing?sca_ref=375152.QTvR55nNmv
8oz container: 6 cups..cost per cup $3.67/cup
Pint: 12 cups.. $2.92/cup
Quart: 24 cups..$2.06/cup
Gallon: 95 cups $1.33/cup (best value)
Hope this helps (:
Melissa Crafter yes it does! Thank you so much! I’m really excited to try this method!
Do you know why the wet method wouldn't work? I wet the cup and the vinyl and it would not stick AT ALL.
Sounds like maybe too much water. If this happens just pat it dry a little and don’t add as much water. You just want enough to where it doesn’t automatically stick 😊
Does anyone notice a smell? I use it with window open and fan on. My nose burns and my eyes. Is this normal?
I HAVE HEARD IN OTHER VIDEOS AND READ THAT THE CRYSTALAC CURES IN 30 DAY. SO WHEN IS IT SAFE TO MAIL OUT/GIVE THE TUMBLER TO THE CUSTOMER?
After 5-7 days, the cups are okay for light use. After my last coat I hold the cup for 5-7 days and then ship it out. I first wrap the cup in parchment paper and then bubble wrap. I put it in a box and add proper care instructions that include a cure date.
Can I have the name of that font? I love it!
Hello... the font is called “affectionately yours” from dafont.com 😊
Would I be able to prime with acrylic paint ?
Definitely! If you use water based acrylic paints you can start glittering your cup as soon as the paint dries :)
My cup is streaky and have air bubbles. How do I fix that.
Does the E600 actual glue work too? Or does it have to be the spray
The E6000 glue in a tube is toxic & won’t work for this .
Im curious since crystalac is a little pricy how much would a pint last approximately?
Here’s an estimate on how many cups you can make per container. It’s just an estimate as some cups take more product than others. I pulled this off crystalacs Facebook group.
8oz container =6cups
Pint container =12 cups
Quart container = 24cups
Gallon =95cups
When using epoxy, i applied my glitter using epoxy. Can i do that with crystalac as well. I had to stop using epoxy.
Yes definitely! You can use brite tone from crystalac to glitter too. That’s now my go to method to glitter. In my more newer videos you can see me glittering with brite tone. Here’s a few of them 😊
ua-cam.com/video/EAoMLx2WHUQ/v-deo.html

Hi, love the glitter, do you have a link to that?
www.michaels.com/extra-fine-glitter-by-recollections/10600283.html
Can you use waterslide with britetone?
Yes!
Melissa Crafter awesome! Thank you so much! So apply, spin an hour then wait 2-3 hours to apply another coat correct?
Melissa Crafter I am actually really excited for this because it allows me to work while my kids are up unlike epoxy where I can only work when they are sleeping.
Yes , that’s correct. Thin coats 😊
Melissa Crafter thank you! It’s coming out a little streaky did I do something wrong?
Hi instead of E6000 can I use the Rustoleum 2X clear?
You can. You would just need to let it gas off for 24-48 hours before adding brite tone
Does this make it dishwasher safe?
No .. unfortunately it’s not dishwasher safe .
Can anyone help? What font is she using? Thank you! I love your vid!!!
Hello (: the font is “affectionately yours” from Dafont.com !
Melissa Crafter one more question...how big are the letters? Sorry, I’m new to this lol...thank you so much for replying! 🤗
No worries (: the dimensions were W: 5 & H:1.5
For brite tone do you need to wear a mask at all?
Not at all. It’s a water based product that’s non toxic. It’s safe for indoor use.
Hi im a newbie can I use Triple Thick instead?
Hello.. im not really sure. I've never used triple thick.
How long does it take to fully dry to be shipped
It’s dry within 4 hours but you want to let it sit for 5-7 days . Then the cup is okay to be shipped
What can you use as a spray to tak glitter on besides midge lodge
Glitter glue or brite tone. I use brite tone to glitter now.
Thank you so much I feel I can do this now
Does the brite tone leave streaks behind?
No. It self levels . Leaving a smooth finish
