Ingredients: 15-20 shrimps 1 tbl minced garlic 1/2 sweet onion 3 green onions salt sugar black pepper chili powder tapioca or corn starch butter fresh chili cooking oil
Does anybody know how I can make an extra thick coating of the cornstarch without using any egg? A Chinese restaurant that used to be near me made the best salt and pepper shrimp I've ever had in my life. No place has ever compared to their recipe. I don't know how they got the coating on the shrimp so thick, it was really good you couldn't even see the shrimp until you cut it open. I like it that way and would like to try and make it myself
@@tammy_99x93 I'm not sure but they may use tempura batter instead of corn starch or potato starch. Or maybe, and this is truly guessing here, fry it LIGHTLY the first time in the starch coating, then coat again and fry. Better yet, ask them. In any case, good luck!

I just want to know at the final step adding the last drying seasoning and everything mixing up in the pan for how long to get ready for serving ?
It’s ready to serve right after you add the seasoning :)
do you eat with the skin?
Try out and it's so yummy..... 👍👍👍👍
What kind of oil do you use?
You can use anything really! I usually buy peanut oil or canola oil.
why take out the head, that gives it flavor..
