Thank you Rob for your information on how test viscosity. I ordered a centrifuge about 8 years ago. It has a heater that I can raise the temperature by slowing the flow down. Then the oil goes into the centrifuge and the heavy particles against the side and the clean oil flows over the top and into the next tank. The tank is 20 gallon from Tractor Supply. It has gallon marks on the side and I put 16 gallons of used motor oil in it first and then add two gallons of gasoline and two gallons of diesel and 1-4 oz of acetone for injector cleaner. I thoroughly mix at 100 degrees for a few minutes with the pump that was in the tank and then run the finished product into my gas can. Three of us ran this mix in our trucks for six months with no fuel filter changes. Several thousands of miles on the fuel. One has a 1995 Ford F350 diesel, a 2003 Dodge 2500 Cummins diesel and my 1997 Dodge 3500 Cummins diesel. We quilt using it when my friend sold his 1995 Ford and the one that owned the 2003 Dodge came to me and said it ruined his truck because it sent his engine into a loope mode. He was the only one with a computer. So i used it for another month and gradually quilt doing it. A year later my friend with the 2003 Dodge came back and apologized to me that he found the problem with his truck. He changed the right front wheel and the tire on the wheel was one size bigger than the the other three and it was a four wheel drive and it sent his truck into loop mode. We plan to get back into it. We figured the cost savings and the cost to make it is 20 cents on the dollar if you use this recipe. It works. God bless!
I ran BD in a 94' Mitsubish Delica for about 18000ks/11000 mi and the only problems I had was a bit of sooting in the exhaust manifold and carbon build up on the tip of the injectors but that was easily cleaned off with a brass wire-wheel in a drill, when i get another diesel im back into the BD

I settled the waste oil for 2-3 weeks and then poured the clean oil off through a paint strainer bag and that was sufficient and never clogged a filter on the truck or caused an injector or pump failure
I have a viscosity gauge and 20% gas in 15w40 is still 12cst and diesel is 4cst. It's near impossible to get the oil as thin. I run it 20% no problems.
@@CUTTERUPROB it takes way more diesel to thin it, 50 50 was closer but still higher i can't remember the numbers as it wasn't cutting the cost enough, so far 20% gas has worked the best.
@@CUTTERUPROB you don’t need a viscosity gauge if you know the cSt values. E.g diesel = 4 veg oil = 34. A 50-50 mix would give you a cSt value of 19. It’s proportional

Careful mixing WVO and WMO and gas. It causes a reaction which creates a Gel/Lacquer. Leave the three combined in a jar for a few days and you will see what I mean. This is why when running WVO for a long time you eventually start to have blowby and low compression, the upper rings gum up with a hard lacquer and no longer seal. This is due to the reaction between then thin film of engine oil left on the cylinder wall and the WVO which come into direct contact with each other when injected into combustion chamber. If you've ever done an oil change on a vehicle running WVO you will see this thick jellified oil in the sump and oil filter.
