- This video will show you step by step how to make the most amazing Greek meatballs. This super easy Greek keftedakia recipe uses ground beef as the base but you can substitute the beef with chicken, turkey or pork. Simply take your ground meat, add the herbs and fry them up. You can also bake these meatballs for about 35 minutes @ 375* F/180* C. *** This meatball recipe is also Keto diet friendly so getting healthy never tasted so good. In this video I used rice as a side but feel free to substitute with whatever you want.

I enjoy watching Kriakos/Ken videos. His recipes are easy and delish. I was shocked and saddened to read about Ken’s passing. 😢 ZOI SE MAS, May His Memory Be Eternal. 💐🇬🇷🇺🇸
RIP Sir.. thank you so much for sharing your recipes....
Fantastic Ken ! Easy ,Perfect, authentic food .Thanks
Love how you plated this up family style on the rice ... these are also yummy with fresh dill :)
I made this!!!!! They were DELICIOUS!!!! Thank you kindly for such an EXCELLENT tutorial!!!
Feeds 6 normal people or 3 greeks. Hahahaha. I love it! And you are so on point with that! Being Greek myself, i totally agree! Totally true! Love your recipes btw🥰
Cracking up here hearing you say "my balls"!!...and "it'll feed about 6 "normal people" or 3 GREEKS" Sounds like you're saying we Greeks aren't normal! 😆😂 You're too funny! Excellent recipe too, I make them the exact same way like you, having learned by watching my parents! OPA!💖🇨🇦🇬🇷🇨🇦🇬🇷🇨🇦🇬🇷
Haha thanks very much Νικολέττα!!! 🙏🏼💪✌️
@@KensGreekTable There IS one recipe I'm sure you'd do a great job at, one of my absolute favorite deserts called "Σκαλτσουνia". They're half moon shaped little pastries, and filled with a spicy honey/walnut mixture and dusted with powdered sugar. If you know what they are PLEASE make them! (But instead of putting wine in the dough for flavoring like so many of these recipes, use OUZO, they'll taste a million times better!) The only ones I see on UA-cam have loukoumi in them and that's not how my mother, aunts and Greek bakeries make them . Try looking them up and give it a shot! Thanks Ken!🇬🇷🇨🇦🇬🇷🇨🇦
Νικολέττα Γ. Λεωνίδας agreed! Please, please, please!
I will definitely look into this Νικολέττα μου!!! Leave it with me.... 👍💪✌️
That's the way my Grandfather made them at his restaurant, they are so good!
A classic recipe that’s hard to beat!!!
I made these and tweaked the recipe and added greek oregano (instead of mint) and feta. These are perfection! Thank you, Ken!!!
Thank you so much Cynthia for your comment and kind words!!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Hi Ken, your recipes are similar to mine. The only difference we have in cooking is I’m not a fan of mint, cloves and basil. Keep cooking , your doing an excellent job
Thank you Mary…. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Comme chez mavrommatis paris , bravo Ken. Pierre.
"6 Normal people or 3 Greeks ..."
😂😂😂😂
I love you Ken ❤
Haha thanks very much Rebka!!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
@@KensGreekTable Thank you ❤
I made your Moussaka recipe on Friday. Followed direction to the last detail. It's incredible!!
I will be trying your stuffed grape leaves recipe next.
My love for Greek food was inspired my a book called " Foods from many Greek kitchens'' by Tessa Kiros. She lists many ingredients in their Greek names so it was hard to follow at times. I was very fotunate to Find your UA-cam channel. Thank you for doing this.
Waiting patiently for your 16kgs Olive oil to be back in stock.
Much love from Charleston, SC
(I am Ethiopian who grew up eating a Greek Baklava by the way 😍😊)

Yia Sou Ken. Keftethes are delicious and I love them dipped in Tzatziki sauce:),
Out. Standing combination!!!! 👍❤️💪
NO.......you DO NOT dip them in tzatziki!! You might as well dip them in ketchup....American style!!!!
Ken your absolutely right, Greeks don’t garnish, that what I tell all my Australian friends
Haha it’s true….
Perfect, so it is possible to eat keto and Greek at the same time :)
Hey Hannah,
Thank you for your comment:-)) YES, it is totally possible to eat Greek AND Keto. In fact, I’ve created an entire playlist of Greek recipes that are Keto friendly....
Cheers,
Ken🇨🇦

Προς το παρόν όχι, μόνο αγγλικά αλλά θα το κοιτάξουμε στη πορεία...
I will be making your recipe, hopefully tonight. I say hopefully because I have a couple of questions that I hope you see and can answer as soon as you can.
1- This willl be my first time making many keftedakia, other recipes call for bread crumbs, if you recommend that, how much to 1 pound of ground beef.
2- Is rolling the keftedakia in flour make much of a difference?
I am so much enjoying your videos. Your presentations are awesome and so easy to follow. thankyou!
Hi Mary, thank you for your questions and kind words!!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Very much appreciated. In my recipes, I don’t use breadcrumbs, BUT if you want to add them, that’s fine. Simply add 1-1/2 cups per pound of ground beef. As for the flour part, rolling the balls in flour will make them crunchy on the outside when you fry them. Good luck and let me know how they turn out...
Yet others add a couple of slices of soaked bread, squeezed dry!
Hi Ken
Love your cooking but just wondering why you didn’t add any breadcrumbs or old bread to the keftaithes
Typically Evan if meatballs are made and cooked correctly you don’t need breadcrumbs.
Do you have a recipe book please ?
Ken, would you please do an episode on Halloumi cheese? Apologies if you've already posted one.
Thank you for your question Gayle and no I haven’t done a vid on haloumi.... Yet!!!! LOL I will definitely try because it really is an amazing cheese from our friends in Cyprus:-))
Oh, I butchered the spelling on that. I've only tried it once, but it was spectacular. If the cheese had legs I'd marry it. Yeah, that good.
LOLOLOL 👍👍👍
Did you ever do a video on your rice?
Hey Cara,
Thank you for your question and as a matter of fact I just shot the rice vid yesterday LOL It will probably take a couple of weeks or so to go through editing and be uploaded but it’s definitely coming...
Mr. Ken what oil are you using (I know it is greek) and where do you get it ?
I produce it myself George from my family olive groves in Messinia, Greece:-))
Don't know why people would switch the mint. If I'm making these,it's to try to get something that tastes different from the standard swedish or Italian flavor.
I always burn my meatballs so I bake them, would you ever bake yours?
Hey Melissa,
Thank you for your question. Absolutely I would. In the description section of the vid, I’ve included the baking instructions for those like you who prefer to bake their meatballs:-)) Just as good. Just a different way to cook them. Good luck...
Cheers,
Ken🇨🇦
Baking these since frying them would make me sad. Olive oil isnt as cheap in America lolz.
Balls...meatballs. ok then....um...
Greece copies Turkish food, then says they are Greek food.Pastırma, Yoghurt, İmam Baildi,Kazan Dibi, Döner / gyros, Dürüm /Souvlaki, Cacık/caciki, Dolma / Dolmades, Lokma /Lokmades and much more.. On 12.08.22020, the Turkish ship Oruç Reis was conducting seismic research in the Mediterranean, while the Greek military ship Limnos No. 451 wanted to block him.The Turkish military ship Kemal Reis wounded Limnos and 4 Greek soldiers were also wounded.Hero (!) The Greek military avenged this incident by conducting military exercises in the Turkish village of Gökçepınar/Glafti in Greece.Greek soldiers held military exercises inside the village and in its tomb.He set fire to the graves, tore them apart. The Greeks are people who live in a dream world and see themselves as very high up.Our friends are making a fuss that they will take back Istanbul. They glorify their soldiers. His soldiers are abandoning the living Turks and now dealing with the dead. The cemetery also conducts military exercises.Very heroic soldiers indeed:)))
