Bravo buddy. This is my staple. My father taught me how to cook like this fast and easy. So many variations potatoes, okra, green beans, beef, lamb, broccoli. Whatever is in the fridge. Opa
i'm of greek descent, and have never had this. of course i've heard of it, but just never was keen on it. Def not something you'd find in a greek restaurant or eatery. more of a work-week meal in a greek home. BUT i did follow Ken's recipe, and love it.... too easy to make, and absolutely delish. Great a leftover meal too. in fact, since i first saw the recipe a couple weeks ago, i've made as many times. the whole onions and garlics..... just unreal visuals. I add just a bit of sugar, and oregano to it. not sure if ken did or not. GREAT RECIPE! (that's sayin a lot, coz i'm not a big chicken lover. Ain't my choice of meats )
Wow, that reminds me of my grandmother's cooking. By the way, it is also quite close to the place of origin, Thessaloniki! It looks so simple and so delicious, I'll probably try it. Thank you dear man
At the point of putting in the peas you should have kept the lid off to let the sauce reduce and thicken a little. Greek here who learnt from the best ... her mother.
Ken Panagopoulos thank you!! My mom watches a lot of your stuff, she’s 100% Greek. She came in 75 during the Turkish political stuff (papoo) was in the navy. We cook a lot of your shit together..be safe my man!
2 questions ;can I do this without wine?i mean it still is tasty without and second can I add potato instead of peas?will it change the tasty?thank you

No, the skin is actually healthy, it's made of healthy fats. And who would want to ruin this beautiful dish by removing the skins anyway?
LOL Indeed!!! Thank you for your comment:-))
Cheers,
