It pisses me off when people say that Sirius is the closest thing to family to Harry Potter. Like, they forget about Hagrid ??? I mean Hagrid saw him grow up, baked him a cake for his birthday, cried when he left Hogwards the first time, and cares about him soooo much ! Hagrid and Lupin are my two favorite caracters, I love Sirius, but he's overhyped. oh and Luna rocks.

This channel got me back into reading and I'm loving it! I've been watching your makeup channel for a while but this channel just gets me. I've ordered soooo many new books that will be coming soon! I'm considering starting a book channel but I'm just not sure that I have the time! But I definitely want to read more and more. I feel like I've missed so many books the past few years that I have to read them all at once! But I can't read more than one book at a time Hahaha you're awesome, Emily! ❤

omg the third book in the Mistborn trilogy is so epic, be ready to have your mind blown haha I swear when I finished it I thought about this trilogy for weeks. And same about HP and the Prisoner of Azkaban, I strongly remember it being my least favourite movie/book when I was younger but as I get older I'm enjoying it more and more !

I have a great memory tbh... I'll remember pretty much everything even if it's been a month or two. It helps a lot otherwise I wouldn't read much since it's how I power through some slow paced books lol

Fave booktuber!😁 so happy to see your videos everyday. I'm currently reading The Well of Ascension and yes it is so good. You actually are the reason I'm reading the Mistborn trilogy. Can't put the book down. I'm planning to read all of Brandon Sanderson's books. And also Happy New Year Emily! 🌟

I was never much of a reader before 2016. I was very good at reading with a lexile score that of a college graduate at the age of 13, I just didn't read as much as I should. This year, however, I started with The Fault In Our Stars, now I'm reading The Book Thief, then I have The Sun Is Also A Star, and the Maze Runner Series.

I actually loved the short strange romance in Uprooted. It was so surprising and different that it excited me that it was so outside the normal YA. I also think that the main character was great. She ended up being so strong and really knew what she wanted. But I know some people didn't enjoy it.

The raven boys was a bit confusing and hard for me to read since English isn't my first language and I thought the language and the writing style was a little hard but I enjoyed it and loved the plot twists, and I promise you the series gets better as you keep going, for me the dream thieves was also kinda confusing but I loved it a lot, blue lily lily blue was the best in my opinion. I just love this series so much that I want everyone to love it too but I understand why some people have some issues with it but I wish you'd continue with it 😊

I read the Angelfall trilogy as well and feel 'ok' about the whole thing. I feel like it completely lacks world building.. but the characters were good though. I'm so happy you read Wool!! I really enjoyed that one and I haven't seen it on Booktube that much yet.

Naomi Novik has another Series "The Temeraire Series" there are about a sarcastic Dragon, Napoléon and a lot of Figths during the war between Britain and France 😉 (in a Fantasy Setting).... Do you now the Series from Dan Wells "I'm not a Serial Killer"? I can recommend it.

I for one loved the romance in Uprooted! But I didn't maybe love the book itself as much as everyone else did, like it was a strong, entertaining and well written 4-star fantasy novel but not my new favorite book :D my sister (who loved it) said you probably have to be in a certain mood for a story like Uprooted to love it :) Interested to see what you think about the Handmaiden's Tale!

Una de las mejores sagas en cuanto a lo paranormal se refiere, en mi opinión es " El fin de los tiempos" por Susan Ee. Su trama, la personalidad de Penryn, Raffe😍😍 es... simplemente Fantástico.

I loved the Angelfall trilogy. Some nah sayers said the third one wasn't their favourite, but in my opinion it was a great ending. And I gotta tell ya-Dream Thieves is a much better book to Raven Boys; it delves more toward the boys (mainly Ronan) and less towards Blue. She was always the reason the books didn't get a max rating from me.

J'ai acheter le livre The Library Of Mont Char. Bravo pour tout le travail que tu fais et merci de nous recommender des livres!

Sad to say I couldn't stand Angelfall. It was my least favourite read of the entire year. I personally found it HORRENDOUSLY cheesy. The dialogue was so stilted and forced and not funny at all. The schizophrenic mother was quite inappropriately played for comic relief and the fact that nobody could figure out why the angels had come to Earth makes me wonder if there isn't a single person alive in that world who had read the book of revelations. And of course all of the angels are teenage hunks. Because of course they were.

    • @rian6858

Plots And Points oh thank goodness! I HATED that series. it started out ok, but omg that second book was horrendous! it was like a totally different writer stepped in and went, wait no,lets make it gross and gruesome , and zombies, and oh idk then throw in some angel politics. wtf? I can't believe I finished it. Worst books of the year for me

personally I did not like the Handmaids Tale. Extremely slow paced but also the concept just angered the feminism in me back in the day when I read it so it was difficult to get through
