angelfall is honestly one of my favourite books!! it's not your average angel book, there's a lot of twisted and unexpected turns
I need to get back into reading! I love Ya but find myself getting stuck on how cheesy or cliché the cover is and not wanting to read it. Or having the teenage relationship be problematic. BUT I need to get over this and just start using Good Reads 😅

I loved your little eye roll when you held up The Raven Boys. "You won. You won, okay?" Hahaha. It really is a great series though. I feel like it's a lot heavier in terms of character than some other books, but that may just be me. There's a really great plot, but it's primarily the characters moving the story.
I know how you feel! It's almost December and I'm like "READ ALL THE BOOKS!!!!!!"
But, dang girl. I wish I had a library sale like yours. Color me envious.

i always get super excited when you upload on this channel and your beauty channel but you should so read beautiful dead theres 4 books the first starts slow but getting into it i end up crying during every book its about a girl whos boyfriend and friends have died and they are angles ( not the cheesy kind) and she needs to solve their murders and find out why they cant pass on its such a good under rated book series

I loved Angelfall. I read it one night. So good.
I read the Angelfall series, and while it wasn't my absolute favorite, it was still quite good. It definitely has a unique story, not your typical angel story. The second book dragged a little for me, but the first and last books were quite enjoyable. Overall, I'm definitely glad I gave them a shot. Enjoy, and happy reading!!! Xoxo

So glad you picked up The Raven Boys and The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater! The Raven Boys is my favourite serie ever! And The Scorpio Races was also really good. I kind of wish it was a serie, because I enjoyed the world so much. Loved it!

The Scorpio races has been such a surprise for me! And I don't even like horses. From Jim Butcher I'm in love with Codex Alera. i've read Angelfall years ago and it was surprisingly good.The first book.The rest not so much

Seeing Sabriel makes me happy. That series was my HP when I was younger and got me into fantasy. You'll love it. I also LOVE Dresden Files. If you do audiobooks, do them! Dresden is narrated by Spike from Buffy :) the first book is mainly an intro book, but trust me it's a great series

I've only read the first two but the penryn and the end of days trilogy is so good and that girl is right about not wanting to put them down.

Angelfall is soo good!! And yeah, most angel books are corny lol but this trilogy is actually pretty gritty and has badass characters.

I dont want to give anything away,so I won't say exactly why, but about halfway through the second book,I almost walked away. hopefully you will enjoy it, but I sure didn't. happy reading sweetheart!
The Deathgate cycle was awesome. I loved that series. and yes you will want to marathon the series. I did.

Love Jim Butcher💛. Charles de Lint is a great author (urban fantasy). A favorite series is The Black Dagger Brotherhood by J.R Ward, a hot vampire series.
I always thought Vampire Academy would be be kinda cheesy but hopefully I'm wrong! Can't wait to hear your review to know if I'm missing out! That Fantastic Beasts cover is freakin beautiful!!! 😍😍 I want to go see the movie this week :).
Em, please pick up the book "The boy who could see demons"! It somewhat reminds me of the first book you picked up because the boy in the story is mentally unstable. Not sure what really happened since I stopped reading it a couple of chapters in- not because it was bad but I started to get creeped out 🙈🐓
Watched Fantastic Beasts this weekend and really enjoyed it. Planning on picking up the screenplay next month. Already hauled!
The Raven Cycle is a fun series to read around this time. Binge it! And of course, The name of the Wind. Totally understand your reasoning. I read this book when it first came out ages ago and reread it early this year as i planned to read Wise Man's Fear but with no third book in sight, I hesitate...
Love Sanderson's work, but didn't enjoy Steelheart and won't be continuing it unfortunately. Love to know your thoughts though!

That's a really old video but regarding the Dragonlance series - it's the most popular fantasy series in Israel for decades so.... It's pretty good imo :) .

If you're interested in reading historical fiction, The Tea Rose by Jennifer Donnelly is an awesome awesome book, the first of a trilogy. They're all excellent books that I highly recommend!

So happy to see another video from you, which means that my TBR list has increased. Quick question though, when perusing Goodreads (and elsewhere) what do you consider to be a good rating for a book or if the rating is a bit meh what ultimately leads you to give the book a try?
Honestly sometimes I take Goodreads ratings with a grain of salt especially for YA books as a lot of people will tend to give them a 5stars no matter what. Same with classics that are read in school since people will give them a lower rating then they deserve!
Reading reviews helps more :)

You need to read The Wayfarer Redemption if you havent already! Its my absolute favorite series! There are six books total, and its super magicy and drama and action and just... I recommend it to everyone!

LifewithEmilyFox The books get progressively longer and longer. But books 1-3 are doable for a reading marathon.
