    Thrilling. This should be on Netflix.
    Great vid..No stupid background music, ego trips, or daft editing..just good content.
    This has motivated me to round off more bolts and hit things with hammers.
    Thank you.

    Hello Sir, i've just found these 2 videos and i think they are the Dog's, damed good. I'm retired now and just got a mini, after 15 years without a car. It's so good to see a PRO at work AND see the way around thing's that don't alway's go the way they should. As i say bloody great. CHEER'S man. It's time to get some more tool's and start working on it. Thank's for that, time to get of my off my arse and do stuff again. THANK YOU...From a old electro/mech engineer...

    Great job Rob! I'm glad to see that you were using the correct tool on the bands. You would be surprised how many people on UA-cam will just take a hammer and bash it over. 😀👍

    Both good videos and excellent to show what winter corrosion you get in the UK from the gritters and how the ruddy bolts can be a task to remove.

    When I started fixing cars I thought I'd end up doing a lot of these, I even bought the crimping tool about 20 years ago. It turned out I didn't get much of a chance, the economy turned and the cost for aftermarket axles fell dramatically. You made this job look professional and easy. Well done!

    Proper job. Didn't know that shops still changed the boot these days, I thought they only replaced the drive shaft. Did a CV boot on my mothers car this summer, took some time but was not that difficult.

    Nice one. For inner boots I've taken the outer CV joint off instead as they are sometimes much easier to get off than the inner joint, then slid the boot up to the inner joint. Also cheated a couple of times with stretch boots for outer, seem to be holding up!

    • @OneAuto
      @OneAuto  6 років тому

      Zed Man Sure that's the other option. Stretch boots are good for getting you out of a pickle sometimes.

    Great video. Were those the correct torque to yield bolts? I can see you only went as hard as you dared to with a 13 mm socket. Personally I think normal bolts are stronger
