I use HiColor highlights by L’Oréal in the colors Magenta and red. Turns out bomb and bright as hell. You need developer for it.
Any developer is still bleaching your hair along with hair lighters.

I have Intensive Red but I don’t think it’s gonna take on my natural hair fr cause I want my Red to pop. I wonder if I use a brighter Red rinse on it if that will help 🤔
No color doesn't work that work. You will have to lighten it.

I used tth cream of nature die honey blond it came out brown which is what I wanted but it dried and damaged my hair so much.... Tth Shit does have bleach In it.... Peroxide is the ingredient.

I got 2c and 3a hair and my hair can be beautiful when I do it right and let it make it's own form.. took me years to stop straightening my hair ! I used to press my hair BONE straight.. cuz I'd go to school and it would be HOT AF in every class room.. by lunch time my hair was poofy AF in the back and my sides was straight but starting to be wavy and w lil frizz .. my bangs was to my chin and they would turn to curls sometimes they would be slightly tight curls too loose curls depending on wat they wanna do that day lol.. I had a hard time keeping my hair straight.. I finally embraced my hair at 26
