Dose of Elegra manic panic is only semi permanent, thank God !
aww honey. the hicolor is still a bleach. it actually works really well on black hair (especially the highlights that you used). however, don't wrap it up tight, it needs air to process. if you use their red or purples as a base before the manic panic, it helps it not to fade. still, you did great!
So instead of the hicolor just dye it with a regular dark and lovely color that matches what you’re trying to achieve?
Also is it just me but she didn't mix the hi colour with a developer maybe that was the issue

Btw the hi lift color is a stronger bleach designed to lift dark hair, amonia (bleach) is listed as an ingredient.

just as a tip (i’ve had dark red hair before) use a red tint conditioner or you can use l’oréal highlights in magenta for the same color!

Yeah I was gon say use that dark and lovely first bc when I was going blonde, I used that lightest blonde color and people thought I had bleached my shit. It came out really well and bright I stick to either them, creme of nature or clairol when I dye my hair

If you dye your hair with red I recommend washing your hands and stuff with whitening toothpaste it really helps

First of all, I LOVE your personality. I was cracking up this whole video. Second of all, it came out soo cute.
I did the exact same thing as a teenager. I’d been dying my hair red then I dyed it black, when the black had grown out 2-3 inches I bought a bleach kit and bleached my hair not knowing that lifting black is a process that doesn’t always work. My roots turned orange/white and little streaks throughout my hair lightened up a bit. I then put in a magenta colored manic panic and at first it was bomb. I had hot pinky fuchsia roots and dark magenta streaks. I had these long crazy spiral curls from my side burn hair that was half fuchsia and half black. The problem came when it faded. It now looked like a tortoiseshell cat except the top of my head was white blonde and from a distance I looked like I was balding. I also damaged my hair severely and ended up having to cut off at least eight inches. It was crazy but my hair cut looked great on me and I learned a lesson.
Zoey Zoey-Zoey just 2 and a half weeks ago I bleached all of hair (I had highlights already) and the roots were like white and a light blonde and the rest of my hair besides the back which was also white was the color I wanted. Then I had some of my natural hair/brown pieces left. It looked a patchy mess 😬😂anyways I’m using this semi permanent medium warm brown dye (so my hair won’t turn green or anything) and now my hair looks pretty good. It does fade fast and didn’t cover all of my hair but I’m getting it fixed soon🤷🏻♀️

I don't want to burst your bubble but color does not lift color, there's bleach in the highlight kit. There's always bleach in products you buy in the store that lightens your hair. Looks nice though :)

Mani panics attic fox ion and other semi permanent colors won't damage your hair. You can leave it on for hours and you should be fine
