I can't live without a diffuser, even when I'm boiling alive in the middle of summer I need to diffuse my hair, it just makes such a difference! Thank you Mell for all your great tips❤
I first bought the AG Curl Definer cream after watching one of your videos with your Seester, Amanda. I didn't like it at all. My hair was seriously dry and falling out. I finallt realized my damp styling technique wasnt working for my very fine and thinning hair. I started using the Tre Luxe line exclusively. My hair started to look and behave better. All their instructions say apply to wet hair. So I picked up my rarely used tube of AG Curl cream again and have discovered the joy of a one product styler! Typically I do also use Untie the Knot Leave in conditioner and then use the AG cream. It smells wonderful and does a great job of moisturizing, giving a soft curl hold, and less frizz. I will reorder this one when its gone for sure. Moral of the story...If at first you dont succeeed, try, try again.

I used to put a bonnet on the headrest in the car.....but since my curls are so long now (tailbone length), I wasn't getting as much benefit as I used to. So I "upgraded" by sewing 2 silk pillowcases into a makeshift seat cover that goes over the whole back of the seat all the way down to the 'chair'. I have no worries anymore about getting tangles in the car, plus I made it oversized enough to fit over pretty much any car/truck seat --- and I'm not embarrassed in the least to bring it with me into their vehicles. My friends and family have seen me struggle trying to get out massive tangles, so they don't even bat an eye at the seat cover 😄

Please make a video on how to get different clump sizes when styling!! Max clumpage was my goal for a long time until I realized smaller curls would make my low density hair look a lot fuller, now I am trying to get smaller clumps (like yours!) but well hydrated, bouncy and shiny instead of scraggly. Help!!
After last week's video, I went out and bought the Olaplex 4c clarifying shampoo. I swim every chance I get and I admit I am not always careful protecting my hair... This shampoo got rid of ALL the chlorine build up yet my hair was not feeling like straw afterwards! FANTASTIC!!! However, my daughter just used it today after she went swimming.. and I think it's going back to college with her when she leaves... LOL.. Happy Birthday!!!

Omigosh! I am SO delighted by this video and your recommended products! I lost probably 1/3 of my hair during the pandemic - I was born anxious and it definitely affected me. I started taking Viviscal several months ago and it has really helped me. I have loose curls (not super curly like yours, but more wavy) but I love it. I’m not ready to give up wearing it this way - so I’m really interested in most of the products you mention. I live in the desert in CA, so NO humidity, but we travel a lot, so I have to be ready for every type of weather. I cannot express how thankful I am for your suggestions, Mel! Thank you SO much!

How do you keep the nape of your neck area from creating a giant tangled mess?? Even sleeping in a pineapple and using satin pillow cases, my bottom most layer of hair in the back tangles and it's so hard to fix!! I love all your information you share!!!!

I went to Cali last week for my honeymoon, and I always carry my bonnet with me too - it was in my carry on bag. Well we rented a convertible and the zipper on my bag in the backseat came undone and my wife goes, "Ummm I think we just lost your bonnet...". Sure enough it flew out of the car and god knows where it went. I was so sad cause it was my favorite! But good thing I brought a back up hahaha

I went to Cali last week for my honeymoon, and I always carry my bonnet with me too - it was in my carry on bag. Well we rented a convertible and the zipper on my bag in the backseat came undone and my wife goes, "Ummm I think we just lost your bonnet...". Sure enough it flew out of the car and god knows where it went. I was so sad cause it was my favorite! But good thing I brought a back up hahaha
