When Amanda talked about loving yourself in order to love your hair, I felt that. Straight up tears in my eyes because I’m so new to my journey and people have been very supportive of my hair journey and it’s such a vulnerable thing for me and I’m slowly loving my curls. Thank you Amanda! ❤️

Me too, Yara! During Covid, in 2020, I stop straightening my hair. Enough of that. That is not what God gave me. God gave me curly and sometimes unruly curly hair. That’s when I started wearing it curly and it was going to stay curly. It shocked some people, but I could care less. I’ll wear my hair the way it was supposed to be and embrace it and be proud of it and be supportive of other curly haired women…..like us! Like ALL of us!!

I straightened my hair for over 20 years and finally decided to embrace my natural curly hair almost 2 years ago and I haven’t looked back. My hair feels so much healthier now and at first my curl expectations were high but I have realized that my curl pattern is unique to me and I fully love and embrace them

I have hair similar to Amanda’s, it’s really damaged from straightening my hair everyday for school because I hated my natural hair and got bullied. I’ve been following the tips from you guys for a couple years and Amanda’s journey has been so inspiring and helped me to have the confidence to wear my hair natural. I still can’t wait until my hair is completely healthy, however many years that will take, I’m in the long haul to get through this journey and love myself and my hair through it. Also, I’m extremely attached to my length and gave myself a hair cut following the video you both made and omg it feels so amazing! Thank you guys for all the amazing tips! All 600k of us appreciate what you guys do💗

I’ve known my hair was curly my whole life but have never known how to style it to define it, and honestly my hair just does what it wants. Curly when a baby, laid practically straight from ages 3-7, curly and frizzy through high school, and now every once in a while it looks like I have a messy blowout. 😂😂😂
I’ve always loved my hair but have tried so many things to bring the curls back and failed miserably. I truly started to believe my hair was a weird type of wavy until I started trying some tips here and there and the curls started coming back.
This channel has really helped quite a lot in starting to understand what I’ve been doing wrong and what to do to make it better and how to style my hair better. My curls are slowly getting there.
I appreciate all that you do to help, motivate, educate, and entertain us all during our own hair journeys. The effort to clearly and accurately inform to the best of your ability is visible. The milestone is well deserved. Keep up the good work girls!

I just filled out my form! I've been on my curly journey for almost 40 years, and have recently been transitioning to my natural grey color. Still working it out, but your reviews have helped. Thanks so much!

My hair is super super long and before learning more about curly hair, I would always dread wash day bc my hair would take literally the whole day to dry... I used to also braid it after showering and then have it wet for 2 whole days since it would take that long to fully dry in braids. I've truly learned so much thanks to this channel and it's so encouraging to see spiral curls even though my hair is so long. I diffuse now and it really helps and I never leave it in wet braids.

I love this because i always looked more into the more expensive products assuming they work the best but knowing how curly your guys’ hair is while using decently prices products is going to help me save lots of money!

I've been watching your videos for about 1 week and the things I've learned have already made a HUGE difference. I wish I could show you the before and after pictures. I know I still have a long way to go but I'm so grateful to you both for everything you have taught me so far!

Love to see sisters chatting and giving advice- thanks for including a range of products and price points and very helpful to see you styling in real time while you go about the video- makes me think I can get to the point where I can do it without too much time and focus, which right now I still need.

I love when the seesters do videos together! Taking a moment to watch the videos relaxes me. It’s incredible how much I’ve learnt since the first video I watched. I still remember purchasing my first styling brush and style my hair watching Mel’s video and doing exactly the same thing she would do. I appreciate a lot the beauty you seesters are able to bring into this channel. Cheers to you! 🥂 And thank you for all the love, the time, the dedication you give to us.
Wishing good luck to everybody for this amazing getaway 🍀🍀🍀💕

Thank you both for all your efforts 😍! In a month where some curly hair influencers still give space to the drama of whether Caucasian curls are worth being addressed by curly hair brands or not (kind of ironic that they do so in a video that addresses cancel culture 🤦‍♀️), it's SO GOOD and REFRESHING to see how your channel is different. You girls are not just incredibly entertaining, but you are also informative, educational and, most of all, INCLUSIVE of all curls! Especially during the month of International Women's Day, it's amazing to celebrate your big achievement with you and be part of your audience. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I wanted to thank y’all for everything you do! I’m the only person in my family with curly hair and y’all have been like a second mom telling my how to go through this journey alone. Thank you!

I have to say I have NEVER liked using a blow dryer and barely ever used it. But Mell has changed my mind. And now that I understand the role of a gel (or any hold providing product) and how to use oil to break the gel cast, I am much more open to blow drying my hair (with a diffuser) I do it right after I get done styling it for about 10 minutes and let the rest air dry. And admittedly, it is nice not to have wet or damp hair for hours. 😄

You guys have really helped me appreciate my hair for what it is and I'll never be able to thank you enough. I used to only want a certain look of curls but you guys have helped me understand that all hair is different and no two heads of curls look the same. I'm so thankful I came across your channel especially because at the time I was going through some stuff but I've fallen back in love with taking care of my hair. Thank you so much

Love you guys! Been slowly learning how to take care of my hair and I’ll forever be thankful for you both 💜 Growing up as the only curly in my class was so lame and I’m so grateful to finally be embracing my natural curls!
