The 45-3 December 2010 loss to the Patriots was worse. It just doesn’t feel that way now because we beat them in the playoffs later that year for revenge.
It took my buddy, a huge Pats fan, 3 or 4 years to recover from that playoff loss. The 45-3 dominant win in the regular season made it all the more painful for him.
That playoff game maybe the last great moment for Jets fans.

@@r8td Andrew Luck as rookie with a new coach, took a 2-14 team the year before to a 11-5 playoff team. He was smart, tough, and quick. He was very skilled in progression offense, as he could read defense, and complete passes. However, because he could hang in the pocket, he took a lot of hits.

To answer your question (for the record i am a browns fan living in ohio) It is New York. If you can make this team a winner they will put you in the Hall and you can do commercials the rest of your life even if you have a career losing record and throw more Int then TDs, it only takes one SB. Possibly even even just an appearance.

John Elway did the same thing. He was drafted by the Baltimore Colts (remember them?), and said he wouldn't play for them. He was finally traded to Denver. So if the Jets drafted Lawrence, they would probably get quite a bit for him in a trade.

Sitting in the Coliseum in 1994, Raiders vs Jets -wearing my # 12 JETS jersey-yelling at the top of my lungs at the JETS --D to hold for 4 more seconds---then 38-year-old Vince Evans called 17 Bob Trey 0---and the JETS -D had no clue what to do. No shift, no LB to the line-nothing. Nothing. The most heartbreaking JETS moment in my 63 years.

Disregard whether or not we draft Trevor - the value of the #1 pick alone b/c of the hype behind this kid is worth every ounce of going 0-16. If we win one game and lose that pick, we'll never look back and go "Thank goodness we won that one game!" Winning this season is the single most dumb thing we can do. I'm glad Seattle beat us handedly, saved Jets fans from having a heart attack this week like we did versus Vegas. Getting the #1 pick is our greatest reward for this mess of a season, let's not mess that up, too.
