The most devastating thing to a jets fan is how NE had Brady for 20 years and when the jets thought they had their Brady, it appears that NE got their new Franchise QB already 🤣.

You say that but basically from parcells through Rex you were a winning team almost every year. A few down years sprinkled in and no Super Bowls but you were always in contention
This is what happens when you have one good (more like phenomenal) game against an overachieving team (Bengals). You are riding high but then face a legit defense in Buffalo, and the act comes crashing down.
It goes to show…sometimes you just get lucky. Not everyone turns out to be a Kurt Warner or Tom Brady. Sometimes, you have one great day, and that’s it. Nothing more.
No one knew who the guy was which means they couldn't really prepare for him. Preparation matters in the NFL.

As a Bills fan I can definitely tell you we’ll never compare McDermont to Rex Ryan. Rich shoulda said something like that considering McDermont ended our 17 year playoff drought in his first year as a HC with the same team Rex had n Rex couldnt even get passed .500
I never liked the Rex hire day 1 when he was in Buffalo.
Rex Ryan took one of the best defenses in the league and turned them into one of the worst by his second year. I swear the Bills must've broken a record for mistackles in 2016.
@@giorgiogazzola5972 the funny thing was his own understudy Mike Pettine took the same group in the same system and managed a top 10 finish with less talent but basically the same personnel than Schwartz had with his 4-3 scheme. They also led the league in sacks and turnovers. Ryan wrecked the whole thing overnight.

Lions and it’s not even close. The Jets have a Super Bowl title, and made it to back-to-back AFC champ. games under Rex Ryan, so they have had some sustained relevancy. The Lions have one playoff win over the last 60 years. One.
