The reality is, if kyler was to work in a different process and method than how he prefers and is comfortable working. You wouldn't get Kyler Being Kyler, you'd risk getting something worse. By disturbing his functioning process. Jordan needed to gamble, everyone needed something to get away from the game. I'd let him walk Rich. Yep. Because I have a pretty serious lack of confidence that Murray could and would win a Super Bowl without doing the additional work outside of the complex. Period. Full stop. Murray is a fantastic talent. No question. But you only sign a player to a contract extension for this kind of money if you feel like they can take you to a SB with the chance to win. How can they do that if he's unwilling to put in work outside of the office?
    Want to be an all-time great? Want to win Super Bowl title(s)? You need to put aside the video games, nights out at the club, and the other dozens if not hundreds of things that can pull your attention away from your craft and do the work. Brady is a marginal athlete at best but his throwing mechanics, mind and drive at why he's probably the greatest qb of all-time. Ditto for Manning.
    The fact he needs a "homework clause" is an embarrassment to both him and The Cardinals for giving him the money but needing to put that in. He needs to grow up and realize he's not in high school or college where his natural talent alone can win him 90% of the games he plays. Now we know why the team collapses after the halfway mark in the season. Teams learn what he's doing, adjust and bury him game after game.

      Guys like Brady and rodgers would have multiple days worth of film study each week. Not just multiple 4hr days but 24-30hrs of study each week plus team activities. You don’t get to their levels of success and be doing the bare minimum. As they say here in Australia. The players are paid to train and prepare. They play for free because they live it. It’s the prep that is their job.

    Perhaps the biggest weakness of Kyler's game that I've noticed is that he plays the. whole game like he's down 3 touchdowns. Not enough patience, not playing the field position game, going for the big completion downfield when all they need is 6 for a first down. Not sure if watching more tape can help this, problem but it might.

    • @nomadicrain
      @nomadicrain Рік тому

      This problem is why he falls apart in the second half of the season. He can’t make adjustments because he has no clue what to adjust and he won’t study what the coaching staff asks him to study so teams know exactly what he is going to do and pummel him because he won’t adapt.

If anything, Brady should have a clause that tells him to stay away from any thoughts of football for 4 hours every week, not counting sleeping hours. We are watching you! It is pretty pathetic when a talented professional is not "self-motivated". Bye Bye Cardinals!
