How do you cut ppf, but not paint?

Again Eman makes it look easy, but when the film is over 5+ years old and turned brown underneath this will not work. PPF tends to break off in small section even with steam. What is your preferred adhesive remover chemicals for the older films?

Mine ripped when a huge rock hit it. Saved the paint, tore the ppf. Have to remove it
