I want to forget about Radiohead, so I can discover them once again, being amazed by their songs. I don't want to think I'm going to get over it, it's the best thing I've ever heard before, and I want to keep it that way
Agree Shane, one of my favourite Radiohead lines (and the next line too). Mainly because of the way he sings it rather than the lyric itself. Can't sing along without busting a nut though, which is a shame :-)
Whatta hell is up with the crowd? wow everyone looks so young here. I think Jonny is engaged in here, he's wearing a ring in here, he got married in 1995. He looks too young to get married in here.
*** LYRICS *** I don't want to be crippled and cracked Shoulders and wrists, knees and back Ground to dust and ash Crawling on all fours When you've got to feel it in your bones When you've got to feel it in your bones Now I can't climb the stairs Pieces missing everywhere Prozak painkillers When you've got to feel it in your bones When you've got to feel it in your bones I used to fly like Peter Pan All the children flew when I touched their hands You see, you've got to feel it in your bones You see, you've got to feel it in your bones ...
I never heard the chorus correctly. Always thought it was "We've got to feel like any old bones!" Which kinda doesn't make sense? Have to think this song could've been a hit with a little more elocution considering how rocking it is, and the real lyric is great
I always thought of this song as strong and positive... from my point of view the lyrics added the usual radioheadish bitterness, but they didn't get the song worse
this is why i'll never watch a huge stadium show.....this would have rocked in a club sized venue the whole place would have been jumping. here it's just meh. he was singing a great song almost like he did it on the album too.....maybe too many white people in the audience I dunno.
Thom's vocals is on fire!
The way he said "You've got to feel it IN your bones"

That's one of my favorite songs of theirs but I've always felt like it could have used one more verse at the end. It just seems to end abruptly.
Yeah, I'm not feeling anything in my bones....
You just wait
Jonny looks nothing like a robot, my good chap.
I'd like to wake up with this song.
The whole day will be better and make my day perfect:-)

*** LYRICS ***
I don't want to be crippled and cracked
Shoulders and wrists, knees and back
Ground to dust and ash
Crawling on all fours
When you've got to feel it in your bones
When you've got to feel it in your bones
Now I can't climb the stairs
Pieces missing everywhere
Prozak painkillers
When you've got to feel it in your bones
When you've got to feel it in your bones
I used to fly like Peter Pan
All the children flew when I touched their hands
You see, you've got to feel it in your bones
You see, you've got to feel it in your bones
...

So true. You have to feel it in your bones. otherwise what’s the point ?

this song was better until I understood the lyrics
I always thought of this song as strong and positive... from my point of view the lyrics added the usual radioheadish bitterness, but they didn't get the song worse
the album came out in 1995, how could this be 1994?
Bro ur really asking that
Following the success of Pablo Honey, Radiohead had enough clout in '94 to get an advance copy of their 2nd album before it came out.
Demo
