I thought it said adorable:/ but not disapointed
Are Balfouri arboreal?
I feel like the Avic Avic should get more love than what it does . Nobody ever shows them in their videos . Do you have any ?
@@erenyeager9575 no they are terrestrial but have arboreal tendances
I want a footy Saphire but I am afraid of them because of there venom
Here’s to the people who have some reason despite being scared of spiders…have now become that person that watches these types of videos especially before bed (23:41pm uk time) and LOVE THEM, the enclosures/colours and now I want one😂😂😂
A jumping spider is in my head and has been for a while.
Edit - I don’t regret what I wrote but iv not stopped itching since watching this video😭
Honestly nature is so beautiful and if it wasn’t for people like you none of us would even know how amazing these animals really are.
i miss read that as adorable, then i realised i technically didn't miss read it as its true.
Lol
Hahaha , I also read adorable 😂
Ofc there would be a Caribena versicolor in it 💙💙💙💙
Indeed everybody needs a cute lil versicolor it's amazing to see them change molt after molt
The only one I'm not spooked by at this point. They look like a gemstone! And I love their high-kick strut 😊 everything about them I love, really.
The Brazilian Jewel tarantula is stunning 😍
best tarantula channel on youtube!❤
Being kinda specialised on arboreals, this list is a mix of my I-have and I-want list :D Thanks a lot for including laeta and minatrix, I feel those two don't get the love they deserve. There's one T though I'm missing on your list (but maybe that's just me) It's stromatopelma calceatum, a very fluffy west african arboreal with a reputation of having a bad attitude - which I cannot confirm so far!
Love your content, Richard -- but any top 10 arboreal list HAS to include avicularia avicularia! Also a good one that I recently got: Psalmopoeus pulcher :)
I have to agree!!
Awesome shots Richard 👏🏽👏🏽
That seladonia is like a hybrid between a jumper and tarantula aaaaaaaaah I want it
Love the video, dude! Hope you’re doing well in this crazy time. Love that you included irminia and laeta! They get overlooked often. As always, fantastic video!
All lovey and amazing! Thank you for showing me some old favorites and some new gems!
Awesome video! Was half expecting Duel of the Fates to start playing when you unveiled the #1
This had to be my favorite top ten list so far! Been seeing some of these on Instagram a lot and wondered about them. Thanks for sharing man! 😎👍🏿🇺🇸🔥
Awesome video top 10 Richard, keep up the good work.
Thank you sir awesome video as always
i found this channel at 3 am while procrastinating work and im so glad i did. your vids are very entertaining n informative, and have reignited my love for tarantulas. I used to have a g. rosea when i was 12, but i was unfortunately not the best at doing proper research and husbandry, and (s)he died after only a year. Thanks to you i want to try again at raising a T and doin it right this time. Keep it up ❤
Been watching your channel for a month or 2 now and it quickly shot up to my fav on tarantulas. Got a new sub now and keep up the awesome work :)
Man this is awesome. Everytime I hear you say this is one of your favorites I just laugh because I think we all know you just love all tarantulas and they are all your favorite lol..
these slider shots are awesome! always one step ahead mate 👌
Just beautiful 🤩 love them.keep them coming love ❤️ it.🕷️❤️
Such a beautiful tarantula collection 🤙🏼❤️it🤩
Great music choices sir, well done
Thank you for making such an awesome video !! Also thank you for giving some love to some underrated species. I need ideas for next T I’m gonna get.
Wow #6 chef’s kiss
So much beauty in one video
Awesome channel, your program is absolutely amazing, you’ve got me interested in tarantulas and my favorites are the arboreal species!!!
Dude them shots are soooooooooo good
Beautiful💗💜
Love this! Just got a Victori yesterday and I’m in love. 🥰🕷
I'm not going to lie I was beyond hyped with your number 1 choice.
Who doesn't love a tarantula named after a Star Wars character? Absolutely stunning species and they have quite an amusing personality 💚
i love your videos as you always state what a beginner should keep an should'nt which is an important factor in T youtube channel
Also used to have the suntiger and the minatrix, man...your are crushing a lot of my top T’s! I love it!!
Great video Richard. Nice to hear your views on these guys!
One of my faves! Luv the way they can jump! 🕷🕷🕷🕷
Richard. Your channel is awesome 😎
Thank you kindly
Just found u but enjoying every minute Thank you got being awesome
Tuesdays are one of the highlights of my week :D
I've got my first 2 C.versicolor coming tomorrow 😃 Can't wait to see them grow!
Great video. My Avic Avic is doing awesome. Has an attitude when I try and feed but I love it.
I used to have a laeta, loved it! Gave me a phantom sac as well
I absolutely love your nr.2 😍 Metellica ❤
First, let me say...awesome rockin' of the beard bro. ;) Second, LOVE this list. Thanks for bring a bit more knowledge and highlighting such beauty in these special creatures. So many family and friends just don't get it and are resistant to letting go of their preconceived fears (mostly due to Hollywood making a ton of money off perpetuating that fear to make a buck). Hopefully with more vids like this, minds will be changed.
Im scared of aboreals but this has helped me to see them in a new light
Enjoyed your list and assessment
Dave of Dave's Beasties has many of these. The little Brazillian jewel t is awesome. Good video photos.
Hi. Really really love your channel. I have to say though that I was surprised that the Hati Hati wasn't on your list. I would love more shows on the Hati Hati.
Keep up the awesome work.
Nice pick 👌
Man I love those seladonias! So gorgeous!
Perfect timing for this video. I'm planning on getting a few T's when I get paid at the end of the month. Been lookong up various species and have been considering picking up my first arboreals. You've definitely sold me on the C. Versicolor (so floofy) and further solidified my choice on P. Irminia.
c.versi is simply a must have :) But be careful with p.irminia if you're not into old worlds yet. In my experience, she's the most aggressive of all my new worlds and as fast as most of my old worlds. Might be I got a psycho, but what I hear and read from others, chances are high you'll get one too! But without question, she makes up for it with her beauty.
Definitely going to be looking for a Darth Maul tarantula now!
Great list! Loved everything on it! Only thing I would have added is A. Purpurea. They're so beautiful! Keep up the great work
Loved the video. I would definitely love to add a P. victori to my collection some day. I'm finding that I love the Psalmopoeus genus almost as much as I love Poecilotheria. :)
Awesome video as always Richard! Great list i would have liked to have seen a Phormingochilus sp. in there definitely my favourite genus, maybe the Phormingochilus Sabah blue, everetti or arboricola. Ohh and your number 1 choice is spot on, Psalmopeus victorii are beautiful arboreal's.
See you on the next one dude! 🤘🤘
Your video’s are so good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not enough people know about them
Stewart you are so awesome and a very cool dude. I've learned and im still learning so much from you about Tarantulas i wanna thank you for your Tons of Informations.
Respekt my Friend and i hope you never Stop bring us much more often a Smile in our Heart and Face.
🕷❤
Pink toe red dwarf is my fave, I would definitely keep them, they're so cute, so is the Antilles pink toe , the blue one at the end is beautiful too. ❤❤❤❤
Just ordered my 1st gooty sapphire from fear not tarantulas...can't wait to watch it grow
My fave video ever ... the Avicularia Minatrix is my fave T. ever 🤗
Solid 🔥
The metallicas are beautiful and I so want one when I'm ready for old world Ts. You got me with the Darth Maul though. Being a Star Wars fan for 40+ years, I want one now!
Awesome vid! Makes me want to join Dark Side of Arboreal Ts.
Yup, you left off the Green Bottle Blue. I will say, your pictorials are beautiful and I appreciate, so much, the time and effort you put into your production. However, I do know that all you guys out there make raising slings appear much easier than it actually is. I have lost so much money on slings. I only acquire juveniles now. Richard your contribution to this hobby is priceless. Thank you for everything you produce on this venue. Mmwwa... with all respect to your wife of course.
Your channel doesn’t have the attention it deserves! ❤️
I just got a Venezuelan suntiger as one of my first slings and 2nd ever T. The little guy (or girl) has so much personality!
They have bad molts much more often than other species, I’ve had two that died from bad molts out of eight, it’s pain
Just got a victori yesterday and am so excited but sad there isnt more info on these. Any plans to do a care video for these? Love your content man, awesome cinematography
The best channel of tarántulas. My english is si bad. I need more videos with subtitles in spanish please!❤️
I'm working on it. It can be difficult to find people to help me translate.
That's a nice blue tarantula
I haven't seen a Heteroscodra maculata in any of your videos. They deserve a bit more love my friend. I want to see a video of them from you! And the Phormingochilus sp. rufus as well!!
Noted!
Great video richard! I actually ordered 1 P. Irminia, 1 C. Versicolor, and 1 P. Metallica slings already and I'm just waiting for the Quarantine/lockdown to subside in my country for me to get it (Pick-up. I preferr getting them personally to check if they have some issues etc.).
Amazing top 10! I’ve been looking for an Avic Minatrix for a while now , they are amazing! Great video 😜🤘🏼
If not I'd be disappointed
My suntiger is a wicked eater. She is a beauty!
solid 🕷️💯👍🔥
This was super helpful. I’m currently trying to decide on my next arboreal T. We have an a. Avicularia now who is the best, most gorgeous “girl” ever.
Psalmopoeus pulchra makes a good beginner's arboreal I've been told. I have one myself.
• Poecilotheria Regalis
• Cyriopagopus schioedtei
• Heteroscodra Maculata
• Cyriopagopus sp. Hati Hati
Maybe included in a possible future Top 20 Arboreal Tarantulas video?
Absolutely love your videos. Keep up the good work. 😃
Phormingochilus Arboricola definitely needs a place on any arboreal list.
T. Saladonia is my dream tarantula species
So gorgeous 😍
New keeper here! Got myself a mystery box a few weeks back, and super stoked that the 3 arboreals I received are on your list! I got the Psalmopoeus irminia, Tapinauchenius cupreus and Caribena versicolor! All tiny little sling - can't wait for them to grow! Thanks for all your awesome vids!
Hey this sounds like so much fun, if you could tell me where you bought a mystery box of slings I would love to know.
@@babynoodle42 hey! I got it from Creatures From The North! Not sure where you are but they're UK based
@@sandrachapman2252 thank you! I’m in the US so maybe not but I do love the idea.
@@babynoodle42 I hear The Spider Shoppe in the US is supposed to really good, and Fear Not Tarantulas - they might do mystery boxes!
Hey Richard, new subscriber here. Just watched through quite a few of your top 10s. Haven't had a tarantula, or any exotic in quite some time, but recently went back to the monthly local reptile show with my girlfriend and her friend, and couldn't walk away from the T tables. Forgot how much I adore the eight-leggeds. You probably won't see this comment, which is fine, but in the chance that you do, I just wanted to say "thank you."
I did a lot of research when I was first getting into the hobby and figuring out who would be the first, and I settled on green bottle blue. I try not to go back to something I've already had out of a respect to the ones past, so you've been helping me to weigh different options.
Really liked your use of music in this video in particular. Hadda grab my phone and Shazam a few tracks. I know you include a lot of information in your drop-down, but maybe include the music you use as well. They're your videos, so obviously do as you will, but you also reminded me not only of my love for tarantulas, but also how valuable of a tool UA-cam videos can be for finding new music. "Flowers" by Yomoti was my favorite.
Thanks again for the content. Hope your tarantulas, and all other aspects of your life are doing well.
I have two awesome slings right now, C.Versicolor and P. Irminia. The Versicolor is a darling and is always visible, whereas the Irminia stays buried behind its dirt curtain most of the time. It will come out and chill at night every few few days.
the Avicularia avicularia tarantula was the first ever tarantula i had and made up a good experience with raising tarantulas
I actually have an arboreal tarantula myself it’s a pink toe Tarantula. It made the coolest web tunnel I have ever seen
I got an 8 inch female poecilotheria vittata yesterday and she's so beautiful and graceful :)
im gonna be honest, i dont like the look of most t's, but the venezuela sun tiger genuinely made my jaw drop!
I knew I would (ahem) dig this video. :D
just got poecilotheria regalis they're also gorgeous
Man, phormingochilus carpentri now lampronopelma definitely deserves a place in this video!! Big velvet dark grey. One beautiful beast of a T. 25cm
Avicularia purpurea one of my favorite
A must have if you like pink toes!
A couple honorable mentions worth noting would be the Ybyrapora diversipes/Amazon Sapphire Pinktoe (also a less expensive alternative to the T. seledonia/Brazilian Jewel Tarantula)and Iridopelma hirsutum/Amazon Ribbed Tree Spider; wherever you can find them available. I lucked out a couple months ago. Couldn’t pass it up as I had wanted one for 12 years. I got my sling for an absolute steal at $50. They are reputed as being nervous, skittish, and defensive. It’s like a new world H. Mac, minus the higher venom potency. So it’s not advised for handling.
Awesome vid as usual Richard!!!!!! It just so happens I went to a Petworld in Milwaukee and they have a pink toe. Of coarse they don't have it set up properly and the poor thing is hunched up in a corner. No height to the enclosure or anything to web to. I decided this morning that I am gonna go rescue it 😂🤣. A new T wasn't in my plans but 🤷🏾♂️. I just can't leave the thing at that store. It is pricy but it is what it is.
Psalmopoeus cambridgei was my first arboreal and she's really cute when she's out. I say she looks like a bootlegged Poecilotheria lol
The avic avic was one I was surprised not to see
My favorite was #3! I found a few more I need to add!!! ❤️🕷❤️
You forgot the Tapinauchenius Violaceus, mine is so awesome. Again nice video Richard.
Another great video and you have perfect timing because I've been debating what arboreal species to get next and I think this just sold me on the Suntiger..
Omg! The Puerto Rican Pink Toe looks A LOT like one I caught when I lived in Aguada. She was HUGE!!!! I had her for almost 2 years but I released her back into the wild before I moved back to the States. She was a SUPER awesome feeder and at least twice she escaped on me while feeding. Lightning fast and HUGE! I wish now that I hadn't, but at the time all I had was a little Critter Keeper to put her in, I feel bad about it now but I didn't know any better at the time. She wasn't gutless by any means And I am happy and proud to say she went back home to the wild a fat and healthy little thing. She was an amazing pet!
3:53 This lil midge is soo beautiful!!!
Hell yes that gooty is the shit man!! Beautiful specimen! I totally want one!!! First though I need to get my first T period... then with some experience I'll grow my collection vastly!
One of my favorite is H.maculata
We have a vittata she's a baby but she is getting pretty big it's nice to know they get more attention. We also have the Caribena versicolor she's pretty and still has the blue color she's a great eater. We also have our venezuelan suntiger super cool loves to hide she's also a baby
great list gorgeous babies. love the Brazilian jeweled
Thanks so much!
