Depending on the time of day, the creepiest creature in my basement is probably me.
🧟♂️🧟♂️🧟♂️🤣🤣😂
LOL
I just look at the family.
Honestly same
Same here
Seeing a black widow in the wild never bothered me much... it's when I look away, then back and it's gone that I tended to get nervous.
My camel spiders never fail to give my friends the shivers. Especially when it is feeding.
Gotta love those mandible moves.
I´ve heard that camel spiders die in captivity and its nearly impossible to keep them alive long time.True?
@@wollewolf9863 The ones we have here in Utah are pretty hardy little buggers. I haven't had any species from anywhere else but from my research they are very similar to each other in care much like preying mantis are. They are pretty short lived though. Typically they live for a bit more than a year and when you just happen to find one on the porch (how I got all mine) they are usually middle aged. So as a pet it will only last for about 6 months or so. I think that there may be longer living species but I am more of a tarantula guy. Some tarantula females can live to 25-30 years.
Same here my other 1/2 thinks they r a demon the way she act to the ones I gave . But she pkay with the rest of the inverts what is odd to say lol
@@jeffreybrugmans5325 they are harmless. I have been bitten numerous times and they can't even break the skin.
This was seriously like movie quality stuff man! I got an immense amount of entertainment value out of this as well as information! Keep it up, I never wanna see these end.
That video was so kick-ass, especially the ending... was too funny! Hey have you guys ever seen (very not creepy) peacock spiders? Get some of those little beauties! Definitely check them out on you tube if no one has! Also spiders on drugs, super funny video. Thanx so much!
Millipedes are just the cows of the arthropod world.
They’re too adorable to be creepy 🤣
Well tgere is one factor if you handle one they leave a poisonous oil on your hands tgat smells foul
@SuperFm101 if I remember correctly, that poisonous foul smelling oil is actually cyanide, as a lot of species of millipedes are Able to produce it as a defense while stressed from predators and handling
Honestly quite an interesting fact for a truly beautiful and adorable creature
But needless to say, wash your hands immediately after handling, you really don’t want to ingest that while eating
I have several species of mantis, they’re more cool than they are scary, their eating habits on the other hand 😬
What species r they, cause ima get videos of those guys freaky eating
I love my mantids! I have popas, a budwing, ghosts, and violins.
Adhamelmaghalawi _ , at the moment I have an adult male rhombodera basalis, an adult female deroplatys truncata, and subadult female parablepharis kuhlii asiatica, and planning on getting more in the future
Kevin Poe ......my taxonomy is terrible
Of all the spiders I've seen and read about, I have actually never seen the green lynx one and I must say it is beautiful!!!
Agree 100%. That was the one in this video that impressed me the most!
That was a sick intro my man 🤙
Thanks dude!
the_tarantula_collective no prob brotha keep up the great work!! If you ever plan a meet up on the east coast put the word out I’ll be sure to stop by
I found this channel by accident recently. I love your content, and the photography is INCREDIBLE! Keep up the good work dude!
Yeah my scorpion bangs on it’s enclosure when I’m trying to sleep, it doesn’t have a lid
Perhaps it's listening to the rock band the scorpions.
I'm sitting on a chair currently coveted on Brown Widow and California Funnel Web Spiders....
Yet, TRUE Black Widows still send shivers up my spine
Okay, I just re-watched this video and I've gotta stand up for my beautiful widow ladies. Those males they eat after mating deserve it - lazy jerks hardly ever web up on their own, they let the ladies do all the hard work of catching and incapacitating prey, then they come along, wreck the web and steal it right out from under her. Rude.
I love my widows. If the tarantulas aren't enough to keep people from dropping in without notice, mentioning that I have more than a few widows usually does the trick. ;)
You deserve a hundred thousand subs bro! Btw I think you can add the skeleton tarantula as a special mention. I know it wasn't spooky all the time but I think it fits for the holloween. Great vid bud!
No doubt! That would've been perfect for this episode.
One of the creepiest invert things for me was the sound a bin of Scolopendra make, laying waste to a box of crickets. A slithery, crunching cacophony.
I’m up to 14 tarantulas now! Every time I get a new one I watch this dudes video on that species. Best UA-cam channel ever!
- Has a fear of spiders
- Gets attacked by a tarantula on Animal Crossing and freaks out
HOW DID I GET HERE AND WHY CAN'T I STOP WATCHING? I have been watching tarantula videos for over an hour now.
If I left off your favorite creepy creature, tell me about it in the comments! See more of my Top 10 lists here: ua-cam.com/play/PLjBrtja7Q8uguO-hnujb8ZHXvmpbmB5ds.html
I had a red back. Sort of like a black Widow but bigger, better and badder then the widow.
Once we had an spider hunting under water (german name: Wasserspinne). Translate in to english this means water spider. They build an air bobbel under water and can ceep some air whit them at their hairs while hunting.
They even catch small fish in rare situations.
Great video sir. The black widow bit was way cool. While not necessarily creepy to me,I have a male Gonodactylaceus graphurus (Orange Spot Mantis Shrimp) thats a total boss. I live in a 3 story house and can hear him smashing things in the basement while upstairs!
Oh wow....that sounds pretty cool!
I LOVE this video!!!! And that ending lol. Awesome and amazing job!
th first invert that I ever got in my collection was a vinageroon, his name is Hephestus and still alive today!
The legendary scorpion how long have you had him?
That's awesome! Ive always wanted a vinegaroon but my family is scared TO DEATH by them
how can your production quality be this good but you have only 16k subs
how tf. should def have more. I'll send my fellow invert lovers your way ♥
Thanks a lot! That is a very awesome compliment. I'm glad you like the content. I've only been putting out videos for about a year and started out with my cellphone and no knowledge on how to use a camera or edit a video. So I've been learning on the fly and upgrading my gear and trying to learn some new editing style with every video....so hopefully in time people will start to discover my channel. Breaking through on UA-cam is tough work.
@@tarantulacollective fur sure fur sure! and everyone's gotta start somewhere. I'm actually an arachnologist, so I know a quite a few people who will be interested in watching. I'll recommend you wherever i can. you definitely deserve the boost, if for no other reason than your tone, after watching quite a few videos now I've seen not only are you willing, but you're very pleased to be corrected and desire to learn. it's an awesome trait and i really hope it takes you far.
Awesome video! As always, thanks! Former arachnophobe here but still can't get over those dumb spider crickets, creepiest things ever! Getting the chills just thinking about it right now!
Loved this video and the connection between this channel and Halloween! I hope you'll make more spooky videos for future Halloweens and other occasions 🕷️🎃
I plan on making one every Halloween, here is the latest one: ua-cam.com/video/Aw9s3wlzy2g/v-deo.html
This video was a lot of fun, thank you for sharing
Loved this video!! I guessed quite a few in your list but some were a surprise. I may have included a house centipede - super cool but freaks me a little!Fun video!
Subscribed !! Love tarantula’s !!
Dude, I just want to appreciate you. Great job on all your vids!
i’ve been looking for husbandry videos because im going to a reptile convention soon and your videos are so helpful! i love the work you put in editing and the valuable info. subscribed for more!!
Loving your videos Richard..thank you
Glad you like them!
I've been arachnophobic all my life, but since I have been binge watching these videos, I have grown to love tarantulas, unfortunately, I don't think I'll ever get over my fear of Black Widows or Brown Recluse spiders.
My son and I really enjoy your channel. Love your enthusiasm.
Honestly, I just found you, just watched a few of your vids, and I love how you present your information and your collection.
Awesome, thank you! It is great having you!
I LOVE your videos!!! They’re so amazing, props to you dude youre awesome 😭👏🏼
Wow... thanks!
The black widow was the first non-tarantula arachnid I added to my collection and I love them so much. I don't think I'll never NOT have them in my collection again. The way they carefully and cautiously hunt is mind boggling to me after owning tarantulas, plus they're gorgeous
This was a fun video dude! Good editing, great cinematography too. Keep up the great work bro!
Great video..... Thank u!!
Happy Halloween Richard! Amazing how you put your vid together, found it awesome to watch, your Collective looks amazing, always a pleasure watching your vids, looking forwards to the next one 👍😎
The Egyptian Giant Solpugid isn't dangerous and lacks venom, but it is still horrifying to look at. They're also super fast and have a reputation for following people's shadows to escape the heated desert. I'd argue they're more terrifying than amplypigids and vinegaroons just by appearance alone.
I love your introduction! Very cool!
Spooky collection!! My kids and I loved this video
Your black widow is really kewl looking with the stripes on it's back. We have them every where here where I live, but the ones here are solid black with just the hourglass. I didnt know how different they could look. Love your videos, cant wait for the next one!
Love the personality you bring to your videos 🎥 🤪 made me smile 😊
You are so kind
You've got a wicked collection love thm all especially the black widow. 😄
Crackin intro! 🤘😎👌 Enjoyed the whole vid 🕸️☠️🕷️🎃

Happy birthday Richard!!! Have a good one
The green lynx spider makes me think of a mantis shrimp.
Loved the video, keep following your passion! ❤️
This video is amazing, good job!
Thank you! I appreciate that 😁
The assassin bugs are awesome. Watching them feed is cool too especially when they start fighting over the food! 💋
Great video I enjoyed every minute good stuff !
Thanks Eliceo!
Loved the intro!!!
Thank you....my neighbors were watching me out their windows trying to figure out what I was doing in the front yard late at night with my camera....lol
Great video. I actually got the creepy crawlies!! Eek!
Awesome video man! Your Heteropoda David Bowie looks awesome I have the Heteropoda javana they seem to be pretty similar
Awesome video 👍
Thanks Daniel!
I think most of us are anything but creeped out. This is cool !!
This was Fantastic Very Good Show 👍
Thanks! Happy Halloween 🕷
Dude loved this vid
Me: oh look..centipedes... Oh hey there's the skip button... 😂
Ya hit it with the centipedes. *shivers*
This video was freaking amazing. As always. And the ending cracked me up! 😂 Keep up the great work!
LoL....centipedes ARE creepy....I dont blame you...lol! Glad you enjoyed the video....I spent A LOT of time putting it together...but you gotta go all out on HALLOWEEN!
@@tarantulacollective I got bit by a little red centipede when I was a kid and let me tell you... their venom might be mild up here, but it still felt like I got nailed by a hornet. My hand throbbed for days.
Never went near the fuckers again
Nope we use to get the house ones but I like millipedes.
9:09
Awww. This spider wanted to be in the video too❤😂 That's a cute one, not gonna lie.
The tailless whip scorpion is what was in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire! Didn't know what it was called until this video haha! Thanks, really fun video to watch, even not on Halloween!😁
Great job
That opening... Love that effort.
The editing was amazing
Harvestmen are pretty creepy. They are often mistaken for spiders; particularly cellar spiders and also share the “daddy long-leg” moniker. I used to see harvestmen on Ken the Bug Guy’s webpage, and he had some different colored ones also. They are not venomous and they are not actually spiders at all. Black hole spiders are a good alternative, and are super easy to take care of. They looked like young wolf spiders when I saw and held one. The are fairly creepy and skittish.
I keep Lynx Spiders and Huntsman Spiders.
I am so happy to see the black widow! They've been one of my favorite spiders for many, many years! The brown widow is also quite fascinating!
Happy birthday 🎉🎂🎉
Super cool channel! I can’t believe I’ve never seen it😄🤨
I absolutely LOVE the black widow spider! It's definitely something I hope to add to my collection... one day! 🕷️
Nice video.. I remember some of those species. when I was still in PI.. We used to catch them and play with it.. Such a satisfying video.. Keep up.. Hands up from toronto
Thanks bro! That sounds pretty awesome...some good memories there. Thanks for the support!
I love your videos
My Asian forest does the same thing I have all of mine in my room and it keeps me up some nights clanking around. So sick to watch though
I give you props to housing an Arizona Bark. I live in Phoenix, born and raised, and I cant get over them. They're everywhere, even in my nightmares. Ive had black widows, and their eggs with hundreds of their babies laying dorment in my couch. But the Bark scorpion reigns as my all time worst experience. Had them coming down from my apartment light fixture. Had babies too. Creepy AF.
Same!! Im in az see them too often ugh
All education should be this fun! Thank you!
🦂💀😱😈Cool video!🤡👻🎃🕷
Armoured crickets freak me out! Crickets and roaches generally, but these are just too much for me.😂 And praying mantises are also creepy bc of their eyes... they seem to look right into your soul...😬
Thanks Sandy! Armoured crickets do look creepy...I just googled them!
Awesome videos man! I only own 2 ts for now a sun tiger and curly hair my suntiger is the shit lol such an aggressive eater
You say creepiest . . .
I say natures most beautiful !
👍😉
Lol that was cool he was hanging on your shirt
Another awesome video! Keep it up!
Could you make a Care video about your tailless whip scorpions? And maybe on your centipedes?
Thank you! I definitely plan on doing that. So keep your eye out :)
the_tarantula_collective Nice, i Will keep an eye open ;)
Hey, I would just like to say thank you for your videos! Very informative and I have just started my collection back up since 7 years ago. I have 22 slings growing well. Looking to get 9 others and then play the waiting game, as can get get carried away 😂😂
Oh dude this was cool. I never saw this one.
The green lynx spider is out of this world, creepy crawly!
Check out the giant orb weaver spider ! It’s pretty creepy to handle.
Impressive collection 👌👏
Thanks a lot
Enjoying going through some of your past videos after recently getting into the hobby myself. And, while I love them, I am surprised how many people are more afraid of my Hissing Cockroaches more so than my scorpions or tarantulas. Not sure why, they are the nicest animal I have ever owned.
Black Windows are so beautiful! They're not actually agressive at all, they'll pretty much only bite if they get squashed.
Great video! One creepy crawly that i have has got to be either a pair of ornate harvestmen, kinda looking like a cross between a crab and a spider, OR my newly acquired orange assassin bug, now, im not too keen on them, they freak me out, but i saw him on a floating log at a lake and though, why not? Gave him a second chance, and me a newfound fondness to them. Sorry for the essay haha, but i seriously like your videos!
Oh wow! that is cool...I havent seen an orange assassin bug until i just googled it. Thanks for the support!
horrid kings are just AWESOME WITH THEM SPIKES!!!
