I've heard good things about.... one of these paddles..... Hehe, not sure which one, but this one is going to be nice for me, as I enjoy a nice control paddle~
Like the elongated shape and the price point close to the J2K pro is acceptable tp me. The Hurache Control X and the other newer paddles have confusingly close names. Like you mentioned, make sure to pick the right one if buying.
Would really like to try the Kevlar version as I've tried and enjoyed the 6.0 Double Black Diamond and the 11six24 Hurache-X and feel like this might be like getting a very happy middle ground of what I liked about those 2 paddles.
ordered the 14mm kevlar version last Sunday when it went live and just received this morning.. immediately went to the court and tested for a few hours and am a huge fan of the paddle. After testing out the ruby and double black diamond, this paddle is definitely what I was looking for and the elongated handle is perfect for my double backhand shots
ive become very interested in the CF X+ due to it being an all court elongated with pop but wondered about the stiff face. Now, seems like the kevlar might make this perfect since its a bit plusher & at a better price than others. For a 14mm aramid elongated, an interesting paddle is the Triple J Jahking. never used one but it seems its good for drives, lil less pop, maybe good for singles.
Thank you so much for the review! I would love to try this paddle as i'm still using a cheap amazon fiberglass paddle... hopefully i'll be able to soon ;]
been playing with the control+ and the YSF. Both great, tho the YSF is a tad heavy slowing down hand speed at the net a bit notable. That said, it does hit with a more solid thunk which I do like. Would love to win the kevlar and test that one out!
Really enjoy your review as it's informative. Still tossed between getting a kevlar paddle or the carbon fiber one. Is Kevlar the latest buzz or is it an improvement over carbon fiber?
Looks cool... though some separation in the names might be helpful. Speaking of Kevlar paddles, what's your preference between the Mark One/Kinetic and the Pro Line Energy S?
That's a great question and I don't think you can go too wrong with either at such competitive prices and good performances, but for my playing style right now, which is more aggressive, and the switch to Vulcan balls from Duras (Vulcans seem much more heavy and slow to me) I have been steering more towards power paddles, so I prefer the Mark One for it's power over the Proline Energy S for it's all-court type profile. That's just my personal preference at this point, though.
I like having the extra room in swing weight to still be able to customize with weighted tape. Thanks for the review, man. This is going to be a fun one to try out!
thinking about getting one of these. Thanks for the review
Nice review , interesting paddle and I like the control game over just power so it could be a good fit for me.
Great review. Time to try kevlar.
Awesome review man. The control + seemed like a good paddle but this new one is really something else it seems.
Great review. Very interested in this paddle.

14mm Kevlar low swing wt elongated FTW! 🤙🏼
I don't see many Huraches around these parts but this definitely seems like an interesting paddle I'd like to try out.

This may be my next paddle but in 14mm. I love my Ruby but I want an elongated shape.

I wonder how impactful the low swing weight would be
I love the Hurache X+, I just wish it had a bit more spin, this might be the next one I try.
Would really like to try the Kevlar version as I've tried and enjoyed the 6.0 Double Black Diamond and the 11six24 Hurache-X and feel like this might be like getting a very happy middle ground of what I liked about those 2 paddles.

I think paddles made of Kevlar have a strong future in the Pickleball Community as a whole.

What’s the difference in performance of a 14 vs a 16mm?

would be really nice if you did a direct comparo of the 14mm and 16mm kevlar hurache
Curious to see how different the 14mm vs 16mm plays. Can you do a video on the comparisons?
Awesome review, had my eyes on the x-control +, now after your review I'm definitely getting a HURACHE-X Control!
Enjoyed using this paddle a lot
been playing with the control+ and the YSF. Both great, tho the YSF is a tad heavy slowing down hand speed at the net a bit notable. That said, it does hit with a more solid thunk which I do like. Would love to win the kevlar and test that one out!
thanks for the explaination between the three paddles
Very good review. Can you make a comparison between kevlar and t700 paddles?
Love this brand, they are top notch quality!
Really enjoy your review as it's informative. Still tossed between getting a kevlar paddle or the carbon fiber one. Is Kevlar the latest buzz or is it an improvement over carbon fiber?
Thanks for the review as well as explanation of such confusing naming.
sick paddle
