Interested to see how the 14mm and 16mm Kevlar play in comparison to each other. I enjoy the 11six24 Control+ regular 16mm. It would be nice if they could somehow increase the spin to 2100+ RPM.
Definitely interested in the Kevlar version, have yet to hit or own a Kevlar paddle. I got the power with the Magnus 3, need a softer paddle to retire my 6.0 DBD
I’ve been playing with mine the last few days and it’s a phenomenal all-court paddle. Great control, perfect spin, just enough pop and power for good drives and put away shots. I’m speechless that 11six24 got so much out of a $140 paddle
I’ve always been curious if the earlier DBD batches played hotter than the later ones. Mine is from about 6 months ago and doesn’t compare at all in power to the Hurache-X Control+ IMO.
@@MatthewKPickleball I like it man, it’s a very different paddle than my j7k pro and I’ve never used a standard shape before so I’m getting used to it. I feel like it’s just an all around solid paddle. Not a ton of power, but really nice control. A little bit more pop than I expected as well. Looking forward to your review!
Thanks great review and comparison! Great company and paddles but they really need to change their model names. The model names are all too similar. I would pick the Hurache-X Control 16mm.
Very nice overview of 11SIX24's lineup! I'm noticing with the latest paddles in blue Kevlar that the face appears dirty quickly. The paddle you show here, while beautiful, it also looks pretty shabby in the hitting area. Does this clean off with a damp microfiber towel or is it more permanently 'stained' here? Appreciate your review!
I believe it just wipes off with a damp microfiber, but I need to double check. There’s also a cool cleaner called Paddle Reset that I’m going to try out. I have a link in the vid description for that in case you want to check it out!
There are so many new paddles out there now. It’s an exciting time with all the options. All the paddles are soild options and at better price points compared to the “Big Box Brand” paddle companies. I like Kevlar paddle.
Thanks for the review! For me the Hurache X control sounds like it would fit my play style best. I like the sound of spin, drops and dweling time! That’s the one I would pick if I would win! Thank you!
Awesome video Matthew! You're becoming one of my favorite reviewers as your experiences with paddles sound very similar to mine. I'd love to get the Hurache-X Control (Kevlar) for that extended dwell time while still having a bit more power and control than a gen 1 paddle
That’s awesome! Sounds like you might like the control side of things. Lots of reviewers have tennis backgrounds, so they seem to favor power and volleying quite a bit. So, I’m an oddball in the review space! Haha
@@MatthewKPickleball you got the nail on the head there perfectly with my play style! I do have a more "recreational" tennis background (work leagues) and am not the biggest/heaviest hitter so I always gravitated towards a control game in tennis and now pickleball 🤣 I just bought the Gen 1 Hurache as a result and agree with all you mentioned but still need a little bit more help with power. Hopefully the longer handle and Kevlar provides a little more power/pop without sacrificing too much control 🤞
So much rave about the Hurache-X Control+ kevlar that I want to my hands on them. But there is so much brand out there and first factor that it's tough to shell out cash for it :(
The Kevlar hurache x control is the one I’m most interested in. I was initially leaning towards the control+ CF but am intrigued by the longer dwell time on the face of the Kevlar paddle. Thanks for the review!
It is an absolute gem of a paddle in 14mm which is what I ordered. I usually weight my paddles but no need with the Control Kevlar. Weight is a solid 8.3 oz and the balance is just towards the head which gives it some needed power with how soft the face is
Would love to get my hands on the X-Control+ or Kelvar. The control game is the way to go Expecially when it is being compared to the 6.0DBD. Keep it up man.
Love the review of your Hurache-X Kevlar paddle. I do follow PBStudio and I do like that you reference that review when giving your own opinion and difference in viewpoint. I do like Kevlar and want to work on a twoiee. Keep the reviews coming, I do like your style of giving your opinions with comparisons to other paddles you have played with.
I am most interested in the Hurache-X Control Kevlar paddle. I need the ability to control my soft game more so it sounds perfect. Great review. Thanks!
It has! The winner has been emailed and announced in the community tab. But there are a few more giveaways that are still live, and there will be a Hurache 14mm soon as well. Good luck!
Thanks for explaining the differences between the paddles. Very confusing product line. I like how you comment on the player type that suits each of the paddles. Kevlar seems the best.
Would love to get my hand on the KEVLAR Hurache-X. I've tried the DBD and the regular Hurache-X. Enjoyed both, but wonder if the Kevlar would be like the perfect blend between those 2 paddles.

14mm low swing wt w/. Kevlar ftw! 🤙🏼
Interested in trying the 14mm Kevlar!
The one with the hint of Tiffany green is sick
Agreed!
Would like to try out the kevlar one!
Control X plus
Great review! Most interested in Kevlar 14mm
Me, too!
I want the X Control Plus because it's tried and tested
I prefer the insane power and pop with 6" handle of the plus
Harache-X Kevlar would be the one I chose. I’m a big fan of Kevlar paddles
@Congrats_you_won_1 this real?
👍🏼👋 Love 11six24
The Hurache X Jelly Bean 16 mm is anotger good paddle thats more forgiving and a controlling paddle.
Another really good review! Entered for the giveaway. Would love to have the Hurache X Control.
Thank you!
I need that kevlar hurache paddle cause I need more spin & power
Control+ for a bit more power
I would lean towards the ControlX. Not familiar with the company so thx for the review … love to learn about new paddles.
You’ve got to check them out! They’re def breaking out right now!

Hurache X Control ➕️
the kevlar one please
The Hurache x control, cause I definitely need more control lol
Huarache x control for me. Thanks
Have you seen the company paddle tap dna? Friend has it and loves that paddle.
I’m testing those paddles soon! I’ve heard good things!
I saw some tests on the gen 1 control vs the gen 2 x and the gen one had faster serve numbers… so the control in my opinion is a better buy
Definitely interested in the Kevlar version, have yet to hit or own a Kevlar paddle. I got the power with the Magnus 3, need a softer paddle to retire my 6.0 DBD
How do you like the Magnus?
@@MatthewKPickleball love it, going on 3rd week. Finally dialing in my soft game with it. I have it paired with a Hesacore to absorb that power
Nice! It’s great when a Hesacore makes a paddle better!
Have you tried the 14mm?
Just started testing the 14mm. Will have thoughts and a video soon!
huarache control+ 16mm is the best
X control with kevlar!!!!! Would love to try a Kevlar paddle looking to upgrade my game

Bass Pro Shop, Rock and Roll and Huache Kevlar are a perfect combo for me! Thanks Matt
Haha. Glad the combo works!!! 🤣
@@MatthewKPickleball Now I just need the Huache Kevlar to make the combo complete!
Good breakdown of their lineup. I like the 14mm control Kevlar the best.

Solid review! Very informative. I’m looking for the Hurache-X control with the Kevlar
Thank you!
I like to have the new x control kevlar
The kevlar one does look really nice.
I play with the J2K Pro and would like something with more dwell time so the Hurache-X Control would be my choice
How do you like the J2K Pro? Hoping to test that one soon!
So between the j2k and the Kevlar hurache , which do you prefer and why?
I prefer the J2k’s shorter handle. I don’t hit a two-hander and like the speed through the air
Hurache-X Control would be my choice, to get off my too hot 1st-batch DBD
I’ve always been curious if the earlier DBD batches played hotter than the later ones. Mine is from about 6 months ago and doesn’t compare at all in power to the Hurache-X Control+ IMO.
Great review! Would love to try out the Kevlar Hurache-X!
Thank you!
You think you’ll be doing a review on the Monarch line anytime soon? Very curious to hear your thoughts
Yes, I’m working on that! It’s just a LOT of paddles. I’m trying to include the 14mm versions as well.
