Greeting and thanks for the splendid video. Please tell us where you purchased this size and type stone-based hone tool? Does it have to be cylinder length or diameter specific? Or will the one like in this video work to hone a 2005 Mercury 25/20 horsepower two stroke outboard too?
Hi mate, you can purchase them from an auto store and they are bore size specific (they will do within a certain diameter) if you have the 20 - 25hp USA built Mercury I’m not sure you can hone them as they are alloy with a treatment, you will have to research that one. cheers 🍻 Aussie Boat Guy 😎
If that is the 8hp block, and you get the chance when putting back together could you show the difference between the exhaust plate for 8/10 hp models. Thanks
Cheers mate, The Mercury seapro 10hp (awesome motors) isn’t the same, it’s a USA built motor and that one I’m working on is a Japan built (Tohatsu block) Cheers 🍻 Aussie Boat Guy 😎
good job mate been out on my boat all this week fishing. Getting a lot of use out of my 2 stroke mate I've got some time to watch your vid buddy cheers.
Well folks, I gave everyone a chance to say it, but I reckon it's up to me, so here we go......... "Honey, I'm Honed!".....😅😆✊🏽 Another Splendid Video Mate! Thank You for presenting it!🙂🙏🏽👍🏽

Great vid showing how, looking forward to the build. Is the Mercury 10hp sea pro a similar motor?
