Any generation which is 20 years at least younger, will consider the 60's to the 80's "history". The best revived music for me has been Soul, Disco or Rock and Roll. You can't beat a bit of Showaddywaddy or Dexys Midnight Runners.

I remember the chernobyl disaster, and here in the netherlands, some vegetables were not recommend to eat because of the nuclear fallout. First cd player in house, and boy what a great improvement in sound was that, after playing years with vinyl records.😁
